Received these as a gift. I have gout and these make me feel like I am walking on a cloud. They are warm and the foam soles are fantastic. I use these to walk around the house as well as to walk to the curb to get the paper.

I just love these Acorn Slipper Socks. I've been wearing this style for decades, since I first received them as a birthday gift. And each time, when there's normal wear-and-tear, I gladly buy a new pair. They really keep your feet insulated during those cold winter months. Note, remember to keep your big toenails trimmed, as not to puncture a hole through the sock part.

My husband and I love these socks.We have two pairs each! My ankles and feet are always cold. These are the only sock I've found that keep my feet dry and warm. Acorn slippers have a sturdy leather sole are soft and roomy enough not to cut off circulation. Our friends saw them and asked me to order them a pair each. I can't be without them! I ordered through Zappos and got them the next day and return shipping is free!

The whole family wants a pair!
These slipper socks in cotton, not wool, were a present for my daughter. She loves them. At Thanksgiving she wore them after dinner and her mother-in- law wants them and her husband, too! They are comfortable, warm, and she can wash them.

For people like me with neuropathy of the feet from use of methotrexate for the past twenty five years in the treatment of RH arthritis this slipper sock has been a wonderful treatment for my neuropathy. It keeps them warm without putting too much tightness like a sock would. I get a bigger size to give me that room.

These are the perfect slippers. Soft leather soles are much more comfortable than rubber and easier on floors, and the additional flexibility probably improves circulation and warmth. The midsole is thin foam but feels like walking on air. After a while they mold to a custom fit, and you will not want to take them off. My sons age 9 and 11 are inseparable from theirs.

How much more difficult could a slipper be to put on? My husband cannot do it by himself, and I broke out in a sweat tugging on them. The tapered area at the ankle is so tight it barely fit over the width of his foot and heel. And, I bought a size larger than normal, which makes the foot portion too long. Once we got them on, my hubby said they feel good and warm. If you have a normally narrow foot, these would probably work great. Definitely not a shoe you would slip on and off at will. Once they're on, they need to stay there. I'm hoping they will stretch some in time.

One of the worse things I have ever (tried) to put on my feet. The sock was so tight it literally cut off circulation. I aggravated my back condition struggling to get my foot through the tube. And the soles when walking were just plain lumpy. The people who have praised these must have very scrawny legs and feet.

Bought these for my mom. She has sensitive bunions and absolutely loves these as they don't rub against or irritate her feet in any way. We have them in two colors. So far, they are doing well in the washing machine, too.

Good grief !!! I have been using my ancient pair of Acorns for years since they stopped making them years ago. As shown in the photos I have kept these Acorns functioning with glue, fabric transplants and inner soles. I love these and cannot do without, so I was overjoyed to find a NEW pair under the tree this Christmas. Wow, I never thought I would see this day. Thanks Acorn ,
The Lamborghini of slipper socks !
By the way, as any Acorner will tell you, there is a breakin period during which the new Acorns will spread out and conform to your foot. Out of the box they are really tight and you think "whoha, these are the wrong size. But just wear and wait about a week and the Acorns begin to just be part of your foot. I never walk indoors ( dont tell, but outdoors a little ) without Acorns on !!
Ps: when We bought the old pair all that was left was oversized, even after a big search. The hearta che !! Although a bit prone to tripping on things, they were wonderful.
