Caution!! My son who is 5 had to have a pair of these. Unfortunatly my child is a little clumsy. He has not had any bad accidents but he has taken a couple of spills on his behind. I would caution anyone who has children 5 and under. They are not as easy as they look. Also don't get the white shoes they get dirty very easily. I bought 1 size bigger and they fit great.

My son loves his Heelys - I was very impressed with your fast service and the fact that my order was packed right away and that your warehouse is open all night from what I understand. The email notifications were very appreciated because my son took the "overnight delivery" promise very literally and wanted to know when they would arrive. I love that you guarantee my satisfaction for a whole year and that I didn't have to pay shipping. I don't intend to return the shoes, but was impressed that you pay the postage if I had to return them. Thank you for super service and fast, free delivery. I will buy another pair from you when he outgrows these!! I wish the shoe had two wheels instead of one.

Heelys - The look, quality, and price of these shoes are overall good. When it comes to walking in these shoes, it looks very uncomfortable with the wheels inside.

Quite surprising - My 9 yr old son just had to have these shoes. I ordered them with very low expectations of quality, but I am pleasantly surprised. He has worn them for several weeks now, and the shoes have no noticeable wear. This may not seem like much, but he is VERY hard on shoes. Normally, they are scuffed and worn looking very quickly. It would be nice if the shoes were available in half sizes.

Son love's them! I got these for my son's 7th birthday. The style is awesome! They look like regular skater shoes. They seem to be fairly durable, seeing as how he's a boy and he's had them non-stop it seems for few weeks now and they still look new! He normally wears about a size 1 1/2. Heelys do not come in half sizes so I got him a 3 (I read other reviews that said go a full size bigger). They are just a tad big, but he can wear them just fine. I'd definitely go with a bigger size. If I had bought a 2, they would have been too small!!

Kids Heelys - The delivery time was excellent. They were at my door 3 days after ordering. My daughter loves them although they are a little big. She wears a 13 but I was told at store to order 1 size bigger for her size.

Heelys - My son loves his new Heelys! He skates around everywhere. It wasn't too hard to figure it all out since he skateboards anyway. The only thing I don't like so much is one of the wheels is already messing up. But other then that, they're great.

Love Them - They were a Christmas gift for my son from Santa. He liked them so much that the first night he wanted to sleep in them. He hasn't hadly taken them off since Christmas. Zappos had great service which included free expedited shipping right before Christmas.

Heely's Review - The shoes were for my 6 year old son. He loves them! I think he likes them better than any other present he got for christmas. I guess that makes them well worth the money. What else can I say?

Satisfied child - As suggested, I ordered a size larger for my 12 year old daughter. The shoes fit her exactly... no room for growth. Unfortunately, she had used the shoes before telling me, or I would have exchanged them. The kids were so excited to get the Heelys... they had them laced and on their feet before I knew they were out of the box! The only complaint is some heel discomfort, but not enough to prevent to girls from wearing the shoes.

Fun, Wonderful, Classy, but slightly too Narrow Shoe - This shoe is made very sturdy, can handle a lot of wear and tear without showing. The padding is thick enough to feel as if you are standing in clouds. No Arch discomfort. They are classy looking made with quality leather in various colors. The only complaint I have is that the shoe is not made for those of us with narrow feet. They pinch quickly and the tops of your feet go numb shortly- even if you leave the laces loosely open. This also ruins the look to not be able to tighten the laces properly. The attempted gap shows and looks ugly and huge, but because the shoe is so well made, it doesn't give in the width area where you really need it too and will take months to break them in for the wide foot.

Cool, comfortable, affordable. These Heelys are the perfect choice for a beginning skater. They’re cool looking and feel good. So if you’re looking for an all around good skate shoe, you've found the right one.

Will use you again. We were very happy with delivery time and the look of the shoe. Our only problem was that the bottom of the shoe at the toes had a bump or ridge in them, but after our son wore them in the house for a little while it laid down and was OK.

This is a great looking shoe. Very comfortable but a little tricky to handle. I'm not sure if it's bad to walk in snow with them which is a little bit of a problem since I live in a very snowy area. Also I've been having a problem with the left shoe wheel sticking so that it doesn't spin as well as the right one causing trouble with the "gliding effect". They're loads of fun though. Overall this is a wonderful shoe and I'm very pleased.

My son loves them! Very sharp looking shoe, even without the wheels. My son has his in black and absolutely loves them. The only problem we had was one wheel gave him a problem getting in and out at first, but now it appears to be fine.

Very pleased - I ordered a pair of Heelys for my 11 year old's Birthday. I was advised to order one size larger that his regular shoe size. We received the shoes promptly and he loves them. Black Heelys for a 4th grader - My son has been enjoying wearing his Heelys and they seem to be working well, however, they are starting to come apart (threads) on the tops of the shoe for some reason after only wearing them a short time.

Get these - The coolest skate/bike shoes out there. They will make you look cool and rollerblade at the same time. Order a size under, they are too big!!!

Seven years and older - We bought the Heelys for our 6 year old. Shoe fits perfectly, tight closure gives good balance. So far he was not able to "get it": the rolling and walking combination is still too difficult. The comments that you need to buy a size bigger is helpful as the shoe will still fit him when he will be older. Hopefully he will be able to "roll" better.

ZAPPOS ROCKS quick shipping and BEST PRICE ON HEELYS! I bought Heelys for myself, my husband, and my daughter. It is a little intimidating at first, but pretty quick to learn, about two days of practicing and you'll get the hang of it...although my daughter (4 yrs. old) is much better than us. I recommend you buy a size larger than you are in other gym shoes. I bought the Atomic men’s size 9 when I normally wear an 8 to an 8.5 in men’s gym shoes. They fit, but are a bit narrow by my pinky toe. I do have a wide foot in women’s shoes but in men’s I never have a problem with width so I say this shoe is a little narrow in the front. These are great but be prepared to remove the wheel on long trips, we were at Disney and the endless walking was too with the wheels (and the plugs don't feel that much better so we wore them without anything and it felt better after we were worn out). My daughter never took the wheels out because she would get pulled by us when she was tired. Much better than dragging a stroller around the parks. Even though they are technically not allowed at Disney Parks (per some cast members) we never really ran into any problems. Everyone thought they were cool and wished they were around when they were young.

Heelys Rock! My five year old son LOVES his new Heelys. He may be a bit young to be effective in them but he still thinks he's super cool. It's great that he can wear them with the wheel in the heel, but also take them out to wear them to school and that's easy to do...even for a five year old.

For my son - I got this shoe for my son. He seems to really like them. He was a little mad that we could not get the color he wanted, but they still work the same. Don't get them for your child if they do not have good balance.

Can't be that great if he won't wear them! I was so excited to get Heelys for my stepson. I have to say I am disappointed in the shoes and really wondering if studies should be done on the effects this shoe will have on developing bones. They FORCE you to walk awkwardly when the wheels are in. Unfortunately, one cannot Heely continuously without ever walking in them, which results in a severe amount of discomfort for my son. Also, he elects to wear his old junk shoes over these because he says they have an uncomfortable bump in them, even when the wheels are out. I have decided not to purchase a pair for my younger son. They can't be all that if my son leaves them home every day. He seems excited to have them only so that he can say "I have Heelys".

I bought Heelys for my child and was disappointed to find how uncomfortable they were. He complained that they were uncomfortable for walking without the wheels. I assumed they would be more comfortable for the price.
