These are supposed to be for narrow feet, but I found them wide--and my feet aren't that narrow. And I found walking in these kind of awkward, as the elastic pulled at my instep.

This is the second pair of Naot Ashley sandals that I have bought. It is a great shoe and very comfortable. This sandal came and felt narrower on my feet than my last pair but I am chalking that up to the fact that my last pair lasted over 5 years and I am sure they were stretched out. Overall I am very happy with these shoes. Enjoy!

I love this shoe. Have had multiple pairs. THE most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Straps are wide so they don't cut. I have bunions (compliments of my grandmother) that are not bothered by these shoes. I can stand/walk in them for hours. I am hard on soles (I walk rapidly--ask anyone) but these last. I call them my Michelin soles. I bought my first pair in a neutral color and wore them daily during our long warm season. Pretty much indestructible. After the second warm season, the elastic was going. All I can tell you is that this style was phenomenally comfortable for me. The comfort and the wear was worth it.

These shoes run really small. I couldn't even get my foot into them properly. I have fairly narrow feet (size 12). I have never had trouble with a shoe being too narrow before. Returning.

This is my second pair of Naot shoes. So comfortable and stylish. Love the support they give. They run true to size. And of course Zappos makes it so easy to shop. Why would you bother going to the store?

I can't live without these shoes. They provide so much comfort. I would be crippled without them. I just wish Naot would make a closed toe shoe with that much comfort. I can't wear any of those shoes, but can't live without the sandals. I had a friend who bought the Ashley's for indoor slippers as well as outside. It has changed her life, she is mobile again.

This is my second pair of Naot Ashley. I bought them in black many years ago. I purchased the white leather and wore them on a recent trip. Very comfortable.

The picture of the Metal Leather shows the shoe as distinctly silver. It arrived brown with slight silver overtones. This is NOT a silver shoe but a dark brown shoe. Also, the shoe slips in the back like a flip flop which I found uncomfortable and hard to walk in.

While I love Naots and have several pairs of sandals similar to the Ashley, I noticed right away that there is too much "flip-flop" sound to this one, a sound that is very annoying to me. So, even though the Ashley is super comfortable, it is going back in favor of another sandal. Thanks, Zappos, for making returns so easy!

I loved this website. I knew what I wanted, typed in the brand and size, clicked and about a week later I had my shoes. They were exactly what I expected, fit perfectly and the service was fast. I'm especially happy for this website because I love this style and my local shoe stores do not carry it in this "old" finish.

I have this shoe and after walking about 20 miles in 3 days in Paris I am sold! My feet never even felt tired. While it may not be the most stylish shoe around it was the best purchase for my feet that I have ever made!

This is my third pair! The most comfortable shoe ever. Straps stretch over time so don't worry if it's a bit snug at first. The gunmetal color goes with everything. Best!

I have bad arthritis in my feet making it very difficult to wear closed shoes or shoes with hard footbeds. I can wear and walk in these shoes all day. If I have to put on dress shoes, I take a pair of Naot Ashely's with me to change mid-evening. I can't tell you how many Ashley's I purchased in the past eight years. I highly recommend these shoes, especially if you have problem feet.

Naot Ashley are the most comfortable sandals that I have ever worn. They are attractive, the arched insoles offer great support for walking and the cork foot bed becomes more comfortable with wear. They are the perfect sandals.

These are a perfect walking around sandal if you suffer from plantar fasciitis! Your foot is totally comforted. You will never need to search around and try on shoes to see what "hurts the least" when you have a flare up if these are in your closet!

This shoe hardly needs more positive reviews, but I wanted to write up Ashley vs Marissa vs Kayla sizing/fit experience which others searching Naot styles might find useful at some point. Naot shoes are so amazingly comfortable when you get the style/size right but they're not cheap so the more information before buying, the better! I am a US 11, and tried a pair of 43 Ashley a couple of years ago - they were way too small/narrow (my foot literally hung over the sides). Sent them back, and wound up with a pair of 44 Naot Kayla instead. Those were big-ish, but wearable (and very comfortable, at least until they stretched out after the second summer). Based on that, when I found a pair of Marissa on sale in a 44, I went ahead and got them. I thought they would be fine, but if I wore them for more than a little while, or walked any distance, they always hurt my instep as the footbed cut into my arch (something Kayla never did). The elastic was surprisingly tight and didn't stretch out as I had anticipated/hoped; while wearable (and a very attractive style), they didn't provide the same kind of Naot comfort. Scroll forward to a recent sale of the Naot Ashley in a size 43. I searched online but could find no comparison of Ashley vs Marissa - they are similar, but based on pictures I wondered if the slightly different straps could make a difference. Since all of my 44's are really too big and they were very discounted, I thought what the heck and gave them a try. At last. The perfect Naot slide. They've either re-sized them, or that first pair of Ashley I tried on were mis-marked, as these are just right - no question the 43 is an 11 (not a 12). The straps/elastic are noticeably less tight and I'm having none of the cut-into-the-arch problem I had with the Marissa. I don't know if Naot has adjusted their sizing slightly since the last time I tried Ashley (3 years ago) to run a little longer, the Marissa and the Ashley genuinely have as different a fit as I'm experiencing, or I just got lucky with this pair but...happy feet! I guess the moral here is if you have trouble getting a Naot sandal to feel just right, try some of the other styles and sizes, and maybe even another pair of the same model - you may be pleasantly surprised.

This is my third or fourth pair of Naot Ashley sandals (I buy a pair every summer). Since they are so comfortable, it is the only sandal I wear during the summer unless it is another Naot sandal in a different style. I get many compliments and others are amazed that it is a comfort sandal.

Love these shoes! Have six pair/all colors. If this shoe fits you (runs a little narrow) it will be the most comfortable shoe you could hope for! The latest color I purchased was called (if memory serves) "Pearl" Raised pattern silver. Many compliments and requests for purchase tips. Highly recommend. Love all Naots that fit, but must try first as some styles run differently (usually wider) than the Ashley. Arch support excellent - last forever.

These are pretty as well as comfortable to wear. The color is different and not your usual black or brown. My usual size is 4.5 but in shoes that are opened toe like this, I need a size 4. This may be the short length of my toes and not the shoe.

These are very stylish and attractive. I own several other Naot sandals. I prefer Naot sandals that allow the straps to be adjusted with velcro. The Ashley does not offer this feature and I find that they do not fit as well. I have small, wide feet with a high instep. (Size 4, M/W).

These are super cute. The peacock color is lovely. I feel they run very small. I usually wear an 11, I got the 43 (which says size 12) and they were too small. They are also quite narrow -- but I was expecting that.

I love the sandals! They can be dressed up or down and worn with almost anything. They have great arch support and wonderful cushioning. These are versatile anytime shoes and great to take when you travel. The top strap has elastic gores so it is super comfortable even if your feet swell a little when traveling!

I love this shoe. Fits my foot better than any other shoe. Therefore, it is about the only shoe I wear. (I have nine pair). I've replaced several pair (same colors) as they get older and a little looser across the instep, which takes awhile. Zappos? My best friend!

I am still looking for my perfect Naot size. I am new to the brand, but have friends who love all things Naot, so I would like to enjoy the comfort, too. I have figured out that the Ashley style (and other styles from the Naot Elegant line) is a full size smaller than the wider styles Naot makes. I think it is shorter and it is definitely a lot narrower.
