Great boots. Generous size! The Frye Harness is a great jeans boot, but be aware that while comfortable it is a full-volume boot (read: feels big). It is conducive to wearing thicker socks and is probably preferable to.

Southern, Vintage, Amazing. I ordered these by instruction of other wearers and got a 9.5 (referencing their statements that it was a half size larger than marked) and they were just a little too small. I love the look and the feel. They're not uncomfortable, they're not too high and they're superbly made. I'm sending my small pair back and opting for the 10. I love the shipping rates and the prices! They honored their 110% price protection - no problem! Thanks so much Zappos! You guys rock!!!

Boots - These are the first pair of boots I have ever owned. When I first tried on the boots they slipped about a 1/4" in the heels. Seriously considered returning them because I thought they were too big. After consulting a friend in the boot/shoe repair business, I found out that they are supposed to slip the first week until the sole is broken in. I kept the boots and sure enough, in less than a week, the boots quit slipping and now feel great.

12 inch harness - My second pair of harness boots and I am loving it. The boot has a great cut and a pretty true fit.

My new Frye's - The look and color of the boot were better than expected. The size didn't really match my usual size worn. I hope with more wear and breaking in, the boots will become more comfortable.

Great, classic boot. Minor fabrication issues. I'm generally pleased with the Frye harness boot purchase I made from zappos--a great looking boot with a classic design. Zappos shipped this item for free and it arrived several days ahead of its expected arrival date. The fit on these boots is terrific and I am sure I will enjoy them for years to come. For the price, however, I expected more attention to the detail in the construction of the boots. The stitching near the collar of the boot is a little irregular and inexact. Hardly an issue that would prevent me from making a similar purchase in the future.

You know, boots are a very personal thing with regards size and comfort. Also, most people do not have two identical sized feet. I bought these boots for Christmas for my Husband. He loved the style of these classic favorites, and they are very well made and sturdy. However, they were soooo heavy and clunky, that they were not comfortable. I mean, really heavy! We had to return them to look for a boot that is more user friendly for him.

Love Zappos, and they tried to make me happy, but Boots came pre-worn, slightly used. heel and soles showed signs of use, leather was wrinkled from wear/bending of foot, logo inside on sole was partially worn off, scuff marks on the toes and a gouge on one of the uppers. Minute red glitter was in the box, inside of boot, and in-bedded in the edge of soles. Have pics. Cardboard Boot stuffer supports were torn and wrinkled, and the logo pamphlet was stuffed in the toe of one boot rather than attached to a strap as I have received them before when new. Clearly these boots were worn to an event and returned. Customer rep was very apologetic and tried his best to help me. I would have definitely returned these if I had time, but I am leaving on a vacation with them tomorrow. Accepted the 20% discount offered because I needed them now, however these boots were expensive, and I'm still apprehensive about wearing them after a stranger apparently danced in them.

My mistake - Sadly I tried wearing these boots for a while even though they were too big. Now they just sit in a corner gathering dust. It's my own fault for not returning them for a smaller pair.

These were meant to be a Valentines Gift and the condition of the box is really embarrassing. They have obviously been returned several times and there are marks on them.

They looked great and were a good price -- I guess thats because they are seconds or something. They were so narrow I could not get them on. I had my son try them on to see if he could grow into them at some point. Too narow for him as well. I would try a wide, none available.

These boots were not at all like the ones that I had purchased 15 years ago. The quality sadly seems to have taken a marked nose dive. I sent them back immediately after trying them on.

Purchased these boots for my grandson for Christmas and 9 months later they have at least 8 nails coming through the insole. It looks as if someone had repaired them improperly.

The boots themselves seemed fine as far as quality, however I had to return them because I was sent two lefts. I was disappointed to find out that when I returned them I could not re-order a pair (and hope for both left and a right) because they no longer had my size in stock. Im sure its a fluke, I'll just wait a little longer, but still kinda a bummer. Oh well.

They look awesome, but they are way too narow for a mens boot. Maybe I got some strange pair, but I could not even get my foot in them. I own other Frye boots that are a bit on the snug side, this was cut very narrow. If they had a Wide I would try it out -- good looking boot!

Broken heel - I now own my second pair of these boots, both pairs have had the heel come loose and spin around. Thank you to Zappos for their excellent customer service. I will be picking a different brand this time. Although these boots were great until the heel comes loose.
