This is a great boot - I've had the boots about a month now. Love 'em! Craftsmanship and materials are highest quality. They're made in the USA. I don't wear mine everyday and I'm still breaking them in (though they hardly need it) but they feel great on my feet. I had read the reviews saying they ran a half size smaller prior to ordering. I laughed. But they do. However, at a size 12, dropping to an 11 would have been too small for me. And you don't see many 11.5. Perhaps I'm jaded by things so often being sized smaller. Bottom line, they're a feel great, look great kind of boot.

Most comfortable things I've ever had on my feet - I am one of those people who wears a women's size 12, so I bought a men's 10.5 and they fit perfectly! They needed NO break in time at all and are the most comfortable things I've ever had on my feet. Although they are a bit pricey, they are worth every penny. I already feel as if I've gotten my money's worth out of them. My husband keeps telling me to order another pair since they fit so well...maybe for the holidays.

Love it - This boot goes with everything, I love it. I got a full size down because of the comments I was reading about it. It’s a little tight now but I feel like that will loosen up and I’ll be able to wear it all the time.

Workhorse of a Boot - This is my second pair of Frye’s and I cannot get over the comfort, fit, and quality of this boot. I had always heard about Frye boots but never laid out the money for them before. This pair has a sturdier sole than the leather sole on other boots so is good for all day, every day use. They were a little difficult to get on at first as the harness forced the foot back and the heel would get stuck sliding in. After a few times, they loosened up enough that this became much easier and, once they are on, it is a great feeling knowing they are going nowhere. I have walked all day in these boots and my feet have thanked me for it. This from someone who wears "hiking shoes" only to have my feet hurt! The gaucho color goes with everything and the finish on the leather is tough and will look better with wear. These boots are meant to be worn.

Great Boot - I am still breaking them in gradually. They are very good quality and so far I have enjoyed them. I have high arches and id put comfort inserts in them.

Awesome! I bought these for my fiancé for our honeymoon to Santa Fe. He is not normally a boot kind of guy, but, immediately took to these. They are really comfortable and make him look very sturdy. Easy to dress up or down.

These boots are classic! These boots are a bit bolder than what I would normally wear, but they look great with jeans and are amazingly comfortable. They look bulkier than they actually feel. The Gaucho color is great in person. They don't look squeaky clean new but they don't have any sort of distressed look either. I ended up with a half size smaller than I usually wear although normal size would have been okay.

Great Boot - After trying 3 different styles of boots for my son, then returning them (easy with Zappos). We ordered these last night and already have them and love them. They look good and feel great. I love shopping at Zappos, it's so easy!!!

Frye's Harness 12r - I first bought a size 12 which is what size I actually wear but they were too big, I then ordered a size 11-1/2 which fit perfectly. I would say that these boots run big. These boots are awesome!!!!

All around excellent - Zappos knows that the only way an internet shoe store could survive is by having the fastest, easiest returns imaginable. I bought two pairs of these shoes, one a half size smaller than normal and another a full size smaller, knowing they ran big but not being sure how big. One pair went back, with free shipping and absolutely zero hassle. Amazing.

Wow! Love the Frye boots! The 12R is an excellent boot! Great looks and feel. With a little care these boots will last decades!

I'm digging these kicks - I was tickled when I saw Frye's were finally available in wide sizes, so had to get me a pair. I ignored other comments and ordered my normal 9 wide. They were way too long. I was afraid 8 would be too small and there weren't any 8 1/2's. I went ahead and got the 8's and they are pretty much on the money. I believe with a little wear they will be just great.

Great Boots - The boots are great!! Look great. Recommend getting an insert of some sort. After a long day my feet were a little sore. Break in very easy, if you waterproof these they get much darker (if you have the gaucho color). I got the wide version and they are pretty wide, perfect for my feet though.

Sweet - A bit snug in the beginning but this problem is my big old irregular dogs. Break in is coming along fine. The big thing I've noticed I’ve ruined less pairs of sox from bleeding. I will purchase other colors soon.

Fantastic Boots - I originally purchased 9.5's, but they were too big. I exchanged (zappos.com is the best) for a 9.0 and they are perfect. I had always resisted buying pull-on boots like these but after buying a pair of cowboy boots for a Halloween costume I changed my mind. For the past few months my cowboy boots have been my favorite shoes, and I purchased these Frye's for something similar but with a different fashion statement. Boy am I glad I did. Break-in was quick, and these boots look great with jeans. Buy a half size smaller than you normally wear.

PERFECT BOAT - I ordered this boot for my boyfriend and, needless to say, he loves it. It is very comfortable and fits like a glove. He loved this boot so much I surprised him for his birthday with the exact same boot in black! With the craftsmanship of this boot, it will provide him many years of wear.

Real deal - Frye boots are my personal favorite...If you are looking for a REAL pair of boot and not fashion leather, these are your best choice. Be aware that breaking them in is a commitment that will take a bit of time. Also be prepared to buy the boots a FULL SIZE smaller than your normal size to allow for work in and stretch.

Pleased with the second order - I usually don't order thru the mail. The results are usually less than satisfactory. I wear a size 10d have since high school...that was in 1967. I guess as you get older your feet your feet tend to "spread out". The 10d's I ordered were too small. I called your warehouse and told them about my disaster. Also I was a little nervous about selecting the next size "up" because I was told the boots usually should be selected a size smaller. At any rate, the phone clerk I talked to told me to try the next size up. Reluctantly I agreed. I sent the original pair back, and the 10.5w size arrived about a week later, they fit well thanks. You might suggest that any "older" customer like me, get a size larger. You’ll love the look and they should be quite serviceable after I choose which motorcycle to ride. The boots have no laces to get tangled in the "bike" parts, and the soles and heels are rubber and slip resistant. I’m 62 and am in good shape. Recently completed the safe basic rider course. I’m married and happy. My wife told me to order these boots (my last pair lasted 32 years) and they are just what the course instructor recommended for riding boots. Thanks again.

A quality product not often seen - My original ordered were too small...reordered a size and width larger and they fit fine. One of your other customers wrote in to say these boots were extremely uncomfortable and his sox ended up in the toe of the boot. I’ve had no such problems so far.

Great boots! My husband usually wears a 9 1/2 but he has a very high instep and rather large calves, so the 9 1/2 didn't fit at all (he couldn't even get it on), but the 10 is perfect. I have the woman's pair and they have lasted forever (3 Michigan winters and still in great condition). This is an awesome boot.

Best boots ever - I have been wearing boots since I was a kid. I am now 38 and these are the best boots I have ever worn. I wish I had discovered them sooner. They felt comfortable from the second I put them on and they have become even more comfortable.
