Cute, but..... Impossible to put on. I bought a 7 though I usually wear a 6.5. Plenty of room - once I was able to get them on my feet (took 15 frustrating minutes). I don't have overly high insteps - at least I've never had trouble with any shoes/boots in the past. Too bad, these are cute.

Almost... I wanted these shoes to work!! When I finally got them on (which is rather tricky) they looked terrific! However, the heel slipped and I just can't spend 5 minutes getting into my shoes in the morning. Instead I bought the Carmen 14L model and LOVE them! The zip makes them easy to put on, and the heel doesn't slip.

Impossible to put on - This boot is beautiful and as with all Frye products, very high quality. Unfortunately, I couldn't even put it on because of the arch. Better luck to you.

Veronica Slouch - I found this boot a bit tough to get on. I don't recommend wearing it on long walking trips. I think it looks nice.

Runs way too small. Very cute boot BUT . . . the instep is soooo tight that I could barely get it on while barefoot. Considering that I would probably wear this with socks means that I cannot get it on at all, and I ordered a half size larger than I normally buy. Frye boots normally run large, so it's very strange that this style ran so small and so tight. The leather is nice and soft, and they don't slouch unless you make them, and I wanted to wear them non-slouched, which is good. But I'm concerned if I go up another size that they will still be too narrow in the foot, but too big in the heel.

Tight fit for wide foot - I love these boots however I couldn't keep them because they were too narrow for me. I love the campus boot it fits great, but this style just didn't work for me. I went a half size up and still couldn't get the right boot on my foot.

Just rec'd them and put them right back out in the mail for return. They run small. I always wear an 8.5 these were tight with thin socks on. They also hit the unflattering part of your calf area of your leg. Just not cute for that price.

Frye no longer stands for quality. What a disappointment! One boot is smaller than the other, and it's not my feet because I never have that problem with shoes. Nowhere on the boot does it say the size, or where it was made. The leather is really cheap looking - they look like they might as well be fake. Not what you expect after spending so much money! I have 3 pairs of Fryes and they're great. But what has happened to the quality?! These are uncomfortable and the sole is not great either. The Veronica Slouches used to be nice boots. Very disappointed.

These are gorgeous boots, but sadly, I had to return them. I wear a 6.5 in all shoes, but these felt like a 6. My toes were right up to the tip of the boot, but there was just enough wiggle room in the heel that my heels kept coming up. After a few hours of wear, I had monster blisters on my heels. I know Frye is an amazing brand, and leather boots especially need breaking in, but these were insanely uncomfortable; my arches were aching after about 20 minutes. Life is too short to wear uncomfortable shoes.

I order this boots in size 7 (my normal size is 6 1/2). I can not get my feet into the boots. I really love the material of the boots. I had to sent back the boots.

Wow, I have been on a boot hunt for a long time. I've tried them all and none of them ever reached my goal as a boot that goes well with all my pants as well as skirts. What I love about these boots is the loose/slouch feel. It's super easy to wear a flared jean and have the boots go right over them and not just be limited to wearing skinny or straight jeans. Tough looking, but will also complement a dress or a skirt. I am excited to wear these for motorcycle riding since they are easy for me to slip on and off. I was using combat boots to ride in and I hated having to lace all 12 holes when riding. I did not have any trouble getting into these. I am petite 5'3 and weigh approximately 115lbs. I have athletic calf muscles, and normally a tall boot is tricky for me to get into, but these were not tight at all. Based on all the reviews it seems these are one of the best boots on the market. You might be freaked out by the price of these boots, but I think the quality and their versatility make them a worthwhile purchase.

REALLY Hard to Get on! I ordered these in my size and they took 30 minutes to get on my foot. The instep is so low that you can't squeeze your foot though. They are so cute and I wanted to have them so badly but it's just not worth it. Once I managed to squeeze my foot in there was plenty of room for my foot and my heel slipped when I walked. I am going to return these for something better.

The Veronica Slouch is a stunningly well made boot crafted from buttery soft leather. This particular style seems to run about a half size large. The Soft Vintage leather is very, VERY soft and the shaft will slouch quite a bit if you have slender legs, as I do. They are very comfortable, and the dark brown color is simply gorgeous. Sadly, I will be returning them for a more structured style.

These are very comfortable. I find that I'm reaching for these boots more then any other pair.

Super-soft leather is indeed "slouchy" and will not feel stiff or bunchy around your ankles. This style seems to run big, so consider going a half-size down, especially if you have a narrow foot. It was easier to get them on after undoing the lower buckle, like all Fryes they are tight on the first wearing.

These boots fit small. I ordered a size up and they were still too small! I generally wear a 7 now I'm going to try for an 8 in a wide width. I've never had to buy wide widths in anything before.

These boots are amazing. I have owned them for about 2 years now and I could run a mile in them and still wear them for 12 hours. They are the most comfortable pair I own (hands down.). They are so cute and fit my calves just right. They keep their shape. The sole is amazing and feels like a tennis shoe. If you are hesitating they are really a great boot.

Totally gorgeous boots and comfortable but just hit my wide calves in an unflattering place. Frye boots though are the most comfortable boots for me. Always grateful to Zappos for ease of shopping and returns!

I usually have a hard time finding boots because I have wide calves, but based on the reviews I thought I'd give these a shot. They were amazing right out of the box! They took no breaking in time at all and I could walk in them for days. The only problem is now I want them in every color!

I adore these boots. I normally wear 8.5 wide and I bought a 9. I need to wear thicker socks, but the 8.5 was just way too tight. Comfortable and look great with leggings, skinny jeans and skirts.

I was a bit hesitant getting these boots given my "athletic" calves but figured it's Zappos.. and surprisingly, these fit my calves pretty well right out of the box! Took a bit of effort to get them on (though this is normal for me), but I suspect that over time as the leather softens, it will get much easier. These are super comfortable to walk around in. The only thing I'm not sure about is where they hit - about 3/4 of the way up my leg, right at the top of my calf muscle but that might be because I'm 5'8'. But it's not that big of a deal and I'm still in love with these!

Fit is a bit big. Usually wear 9.5 could have got a 9. Love them. Attention grabber and super comfy. Would buy them all over again.
