Amazing! Finally ordered these boots after lusting for them for a few months...received them the next day, which I love, thank you Zappos! Ordered them in my true size 7, fit perfectly...just know that the first time you put them on they might be snug on the tops of your feet, but rest assured because they break right in. Highly recommend these boots. They are costly but you will have them forever! Really well made and the leather is high quality. Extremely happy with this purchase!

I love, love, love these boots! I love the way they smelled when I first opened the box and I couldn't wait to get them on! However, it took a few days and lots of patience to finally wear them. I was so afraid I was going to have to send them back. It is so hard to pull them on. I finally did it and it was still hard the next few times, but they're now starting to stretch out a bit. Love them!

These boots are da bomb! Only thing is, they are much softer than I anticipated, so I worry about the longevity of them. For the price, I would hope I can get several good years out of them. They look great with skinny jeans. I wore them to work the other day and someone told me I looked like biker chick, cool! They smell awesome too! No more stinky closet smell, just yummy leather goodness. My only complaint is that the left inside sole bed is coming up. I'm sending them back for another pair. Get a pair, you will love them, but if you are hard up for cash, pass.

Sadly, these boots are like everything else made in Mexico.Very poorly constructed and not worth the asking price. The heel lining was already coming apart.

It's beyond me why these boots are so popular. I got some in slate a couple of years ago, in a sale, and sent them straight back. Nice color but the boot is poorly constructed and cheap looking for the price. The engineer 15R's are so much nicer and edgier.

Very cool boots! They look very edgy, but not too plain. I have wider feet, so I found them to be a big snug in the width, but I am used to that with most regular shoes. I am normally a 7 1/2 and went up to an 8 and found that fit to be very comfortable. I normally wear these boots over leggings and skinny jeans, but I'm sure they will be great with the right dress or skirt, too!

These are my first pair of Frye boots and I will definitely be buying more (from Zappos). I did a lot of research and after trying two other pairs from Zappos I settled on the Veronica Slouch even though they were more expensive. The quality is excellent and they are great to wear with dresses, leggings & jeans. Couldn't be happier!

I bought these in the black and they were beautiful and well made. But...I normally wear an 8 1/2 AA and there was no way, even with multiple pairs of socks, that I could make them work. The toe box felt like a normal medium width, but the heel seemed really wide. I was so sad to have to send them back. I so wish they came in narrow!

Way too big!! Got my normal size 9 and I was swimming in these boots. They do look well made, but are not for folks with narrow feet.

I'm not sure why so many reviewers here claim to have "thin calves" yet say that the Veronica fits well and even looks good with skirts - I don't find that to be the case. The calf is very ample and leaves a lot of space even over jeans. But, it does look good over jeans (non-skinny ones) and the brown color is absolutely lovely. Comfort is okay; they feel best over cushy socks. Great leather!

I literally just got these boots in the mail and I'm officially in love. Seriously. These are the most perfect boots - and I'm very particular when choosing boots. They fit true to size (7.5). I have another pair of Frye boots in a 7.5 as well, so I didn't notice any difference as far as sizing goes. I am a shorty (5'1") and I honestly think these boots make my legs look longer. I have a fairly small calf and I can tuck skinny jeans into them perfectly. Will look great with tights and a dress and virtually go with anything in my closet. I'm a poor college kid so these were a huge splurge for me, but if I had more money I would definitely buy another pair. Yes these are pricey, but if you're on the fence just go for it. I don't think you'll regret it!

I suppose for the price I expected high-quality. But I found the heel on one boot was separating from the sole, and the tags inside the shaft have very coarse stitching, causing irritation to my calf and tearing my socks. Luckily, I have a boot repair shop nearby and they simply glued the heel for me. To remedy the scratchy stitching, I placed duct tape over the tags. It took about a week to break them in, and difficult to get on at first, but they are easily adjustable with the straps over the ankle and at the calf. The straps are also helpful for adjustment so when I wear thicker socks, I can loosen them; for thinner socks, the boots can be tightened. Overall, I like these boots; they are flexible in that they can be worn with dresses or jeans. Not sure that the money I paid for them equals the quality that I received. Not at all Zappos’ fault, but the manufacturer, FRYE. Also, glad they have my size 11 which is uncommon in most boots and shoes that are stylish.

Love these boots. I have had bunion surgery and am very selective when buying shoes and boots. Bought my normal size and they felt wonderful. I also tried the Veronica short, but noticed the heel slipped so I am sending those back.

Love these boots. Well, after $15 and five days at the cobbler. I have super high arches so I had to get an instep stretch to be able to pull these on without destroying the leather just above the heel. So to be honest, though I can't feel any arch support, it could be because my arches peak about an inch and a half off the ground. The color is great, the quality of the boot is amazing, and the insole is nice and comfy. I have thin calves, so there is about a hand size gap, but that is easily fixed with some cushy long socks. I can tell these are going to be my favorite boots for years to come.

These boots are exactly what I was looking for. I am in love with them. FYI: If you wear Frye boots these are true to size. They are the same size as my other 2 pair of boots.

Very comfortable. No breaking in time needed. True to size. Looks good outside of pants. A little rugged to wear for skirts for me. A good winter staple. I bought the vintage black finish, subtle and pretty.

This is my first pair of Frye boots and I'm very impressed (and happy!) I wear size 8 but based on other reviews that recommended getting a 1/2 size larger, I ordered an 8 1/2 and they are perfect (so glad I read the reviews!). I wear them with average thickness socks and not "boot" socks. As far as comfort goes, I wore them right out of the box with no problems and I wear them nearly every day on walks with my dog and they are comfortable and supportive. Need I say they look super cute with everything from shorts and pants to skirts and dresses? The leather is excellent quality. The top is not stiff but maybe soft enough to age into a slight slouch if I let them, but I keep them stuffed with boot shapers 'cause I don't want too much slouch. It's typically hard to find tall boots that aren't too wide for my thin legs but these are ok and I made them fit even better by adjusting the little buckle at the top of the boot. I know I will have these boots for years to come - well worth the cost.

I am 5'10 with small calves and have a very difficult time finding the right casual yet classy looking boots that aren't huge around my calves. Got these and love them! Finally the year long search is over. They fit well. Looks good with leggings and work well with skinny jeans. I really love them and worth the extra money and will last forever. I have other Fryes for 5 years and look even better as time goes on. Ooh, and they're very comfortable. I always wear 9.5 and ordered 9.5 and they fit perfectly and i didn't have any problem putting them on like some people have said. Highly recommend them!

After a long, hard and annoying search, I finally found the perfect riding boot. Sexy, comfortable and great color. They fit true to size, get your normal size. I wear a 7.5 and got the 7.5.

When I first got these boots, I was crushed because I almost couldn't get my feet (and high arches) in them, and then when I finally did, the vamp was so tight over my arches that my toes started losing feeling. But, this story has a happy ending. After 2 wearings the boots have stretched enough on their own to make on/off less of a chore, and with the help of a hairdryer, I was able to stretch out the vamps enough to make them comfortable. Bandaids are still necessary on the heels to prevent blisters, but the leather is still so new that's to be expected. Moral of story: if you have high arches, don't write off these beautiful boots even if they don't seem like they'll fit at first!

Fantastic boot. Fantastic service. No trouble getting this boot on...because Zappos has this awesome review feature, I opted to buy a 1/2 size up. I was doubting myself until I received the boots today (super fast service as usual). They are perfect and exactly what I wanted. The leather is softer than I anticipated (got the leather/suede combo) and in black it's awesome and goes with everything. Zappos rocks it as usual. I have occasionally chosen poorly, but your service never disappoints. If I can't buy a shoe/boot from Zappos, I don't think I'll buy it in the future. Thanks for being one of the few companies that truly cares about outstanding service. You have my loyalty!
