This is a nice work boot. I usually buy Magnum boots, but have a hard time finding the style I like in my size. When I found these I decided to give them a try for a few reasons. 1. They're waterproof. 2. Steel toes. 3. Fiberglass shank. 4. Timberland has always been a reliable brand for me. First, for those of you who might be in public safety, be aware that I'm not sure these are actually polishable. They are leather, but not a shiny type leather so I do no know how well they would take polish. I worked some mink oil into them and gave them a polished look, but this might be an issue for some. The boots are comfortable, with surprisingly good padding in the foot. I did find the pressure point in the ankle (only on the right side tho) some folks complained about. I just did not lace it up through the top two hooks and it did not bother me. Now that I have been wearing them a few weeks I can lace them up completely and it has not bothered me. The tread on them seems to be solid and I have not noticed any slipping walking around accident scenes (I am a medic). For being steel toed, these shoes are light. Seriously, I had always avoided the steel toe because it just made them way too heavy to lug around for 24 hours. These are so light you'd never guess they had that. Overall they seem to be a nice sturdy boot and I will likely buy them again instead of going back to the Magnums.

My wife's work environment is very hard on shoes. She has tried about all different kinds. I am happy to report that she is thrilled with these shoes. When she is thrilled, I am thrilled.

Very happy with my work boots. Hard to find ladies steel toed work boots. Zappos has an excellent selection and price.

Women’s boots - There are more and better of selection of men's than women's boots. So I returned them and am keeping some men's boots which fit better and are more functional.

This is an outstanding work boot for a woman. There is room in the toe so my toes are not cramped, the wick-away fabric inside works. I work overseas in the desert with extreme temperatures. This boot has been extremely comfortable from the time I started wearing it. It is hard to find a good work boot that is comfortable all day long. This one is great!

I love them. I started a new job for a local fireworks co. Worked all night then two days later all day / night, and they were still completely comfortable. Had a huge heavy rack fall right on my foot, didn't feel a thing. And after hours and days of work in them, they don't look like they've been worn once. Except for some grass in a tread. ;)

I bought these boots to wear when I work in the yard. They are absolutely the most comfortable boot of this type of I have ever worn. While there is good padding inside, I did add additional arch support, but my feet need it. I highly recommend these boots.

I am a Freight Train Conductor and had previously worn a pair of women's Red Wings, but was unhappy with how quickly the sole had worn down on those and was told to try these Timberland's. These are very comfortable when I'm out walking on ballast and concrete; they are very light and feel like I'm wearing tennis shoes. I've just ordered another pair and will continue to purchase these as long as they're available.

If you have to wear steel toe, Timberland Pro is the way to go. Comfort is what it's all about. And I have found that in this shoe.

Very Comfy! I really like this shoe. It is more comfortable feeling than it looks. Sure wouldn't have to worry about anyone stepping on my toe either with the steel toe. I have walked long distances in these boots with no problem.

Fits comfortably and true to size -- right out of the box. Sole has good slip resistance and good tread. Easy to put on and lace up. Reasonably attractive style for a work boot. I have wide feet and would recommend this boot to other women with wide feet. This boot is a keeper!

Fabulous boot! I'm a flight nurse. These came in the mail, I put them on and worked a 12 hour shift. My feet were perfectly happy! If my feet aren't in these boots, they're in the Timberland Pro clogs. Great shoes for working feet!

I bought these boots because I'm in the field every day (as a general contractor). I just got them, so I haven't walked around in them too much but so far they are comfortable. I can't say anything about arch support because I wear custom orthotic devices. I like that these shoes make your feet look slimmer/narrower, not that it really matters in the field, but it's still nice.

Great boot for work - This boot is great for work. I work outside and walk on pavement so it was important that a boot can take that kind of punishment. The boot makes my feet look smaller and I like the heel height. My problem feet feel comfortable and stay warm and dry.

Best boot ever - They are great. It is like wearing sneakers. I ride a Harley and feel confident that these shoes will withstand the elements and be a great safety feature to my toes. Thanks Zappos!

Perfect boot for riding! I got these boots a few months ago in brown and loved them so much I came back and got the black pair, too. This boot is sturdy and very comfortable. You need to wear them to break them in, but it doesn't take more than a few days (wearing them every day). They are completely waterproof and weatherproof. I wear them when I ride my motorcycle in the rain and my feet don't get cold or wet... these boots rock!

Great boot - Everything they said about these boots was correct. They did not need to be broken in at all. The fit was excellent; they are not too heavy for a safety toe. They clean well too I was working on a Habitat house the next day I got them. Of course we ended up having to paint and I waited for the drips of paint to dry and then just picked them off. Next month it's finish carpentry, so we will see how that goes.

Great work boot! Comfortable and lightweight. This is an astonishingly comfortable boot! The toe box is extra roomy so there is no problem with the safety toe at all. As well, it's flexible and relatively light even when working in all day. I do wear orthotics in it as I have "problem" feet, but overall am thrilled to find a safety boot that is so comfortable.
