Boot fit well. Size was true to my 11 foot...I ordered an 11. The steel toe does not hurt in a medium for me. Comfortable to wear and stand all day. And has been waterproof so far. Only drawback is they do not breathe as well as other boots I have... But they are waterproof.

Use these boots for work very comfortable after break in period. Waiting to see how they hold up. If they last a year definently worth the price.

I spent a lot of hours, online, looking for a high-quality, extremely durable pair of waterproof work boots that could handle just about anything you could throw at them! I finally decided on this pair of boots which I bought to wear to work in the winter. I was impressed (right out of the box) by the obvious quality of the materials used and craftsmanship in the making of these (rock-solid) boots. They are also very comfortable, which is important, as I spend long hours on my feet at work.
I'd also recommend:

My husband, who is the ultimate tightwad, sees the value and appreciates the comfort of these boots and it willing to pay $180 for them, which is really remarkable. He owns a deer processing plant and is on his feet for fifteen hours a day. He says these are the best he has ever worn. He is constantly working with water and his feet stay pretty dry. These books lasted past an entire deer season and months afterward. After 11 months of continuous wear and abuse I am buying his a new pair. These are great boots.

Put to the test daily. Crawl under homes and in attics. Install telecommunications wiring from curb to outlet rain or shine in all weather conditions. These boots are great with the new outer coat of protection. Will get again but it will most likely take 3 years to need new boots. My last pair of pro series went over 2 years that's what prompted this purchase.

So far, I'm very impressed with these boots; so much so, that I bought my father a pair! I do a lot of outdoor work, especially chainsaw cutting wood for heating. The steel-toes in these boots have already saved me from a couple of "ouch!" moments from falling logs. They are made from a very tough material, though flexible and comfortable. Easy cleanup with a hose. I would recommend them, especially if you spend time in the woods.

I saw my co-worker with a pair of these babies and he was raving about them, so I caved and made the purchase. It's been about 5 years since he bought his and I bought mind (I've bought 2 pairs, this was my second pair). Short story, he still has his and I still have mine and we both still love them. They're very comfortable, the abrasion resistant surface is cool and works pretty well, and they're keep your fee dry, which is great for a Seattlite like me. Highly recommend.

Two and a half years ago I started a project to build a retaining wall on a hill in my backyard. Some seventeen tons of stone (seven dug up on site), two and a half tons of gravel, and 1,100 cubic feet of soil later, working mostly weekends, the walls are nearly complete, and these boots are still going strong! I live in the Mid-Atlantic and I'm outside working in the yard all year; often in light-to-moderate rain. These boots have always kept my feet dry; and warm down to 25 or 30 degrees or so. They are also very comfortable. All this, and other than brushing off dirt and mud, I haven't performed any maintenance on them; I'm kind of bad that way. The only negative I had was early on the upper part of the boot dug into my upper ankle. I got a gel pad as a cushion, which helped a lot. After a while, I didn't need the pad any more. Anyway, I love these boots. When these wear out, which doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon, I'll definitely buy another pair.

I just placed an order for my second pair of these boots. They are comfortable boots, once you break them in. But after that, they have been great boots that are holding up very well considering I'm in them 14-16 hours a day. I really like the black part of these, they are tough and are not wearing through on the toe (which generally happens on all my previous steel toed boots). My work requires me to climb ladders and chillers, do a lot of walking, exposure to solvents, heat, cold, even the occasional mud pit and these things are still holding up while keeping my feet dry and comfy. Get these boots, especially now that they're on sale for less from retail.

These are great boots I work on the air ramp for UPS in all of the weather that the Ohio valley can throw at me and these are the best boots that I have ever owned. I have had other brands and other types of the pro series and these are great.

My first pair lasted a year and I had no problems, my second pair I've had for 9 months and side has some splits, and my left shoe eats shoelaces. I'm on my fourth pair. Regardless, I can't avoid these. The weight is substantial, but not heavy. They are simply indestructible. I can pour concrete, frame, climb around in attics, crawl in crawlspaces, install wall mount TVs, kick my wheel chocks. Whatever I want. This boot holds up, and it's cheap. Not to mention weatherproof and warm. It's a year round boot and even makes you taller. PRO brand, love the shoes. Keep them coming. PS, Buy kevlar laces.

I have been buying these boots for 8 yrs now back to back . I work in commercial demolition and these boots always held up and protected my feet. I also personally think they are pretty comfortable once broken in. They usually last me 8 months minimum sometime 10 to 11. After about 6-7 months they start to crack slowly on top at the bend. I never complained due to how long it took for that to start to happen with the type of work I do. Unfortunately the latest pair I have , Which I am still wearing , has now crack in the actual sole of the treads on both boots all the way thru the rubber. My last 7 pair have never done that , so this seems very odd to me . I may buy another pair but only if timberland can do something for me . I would of given 5 stars if it weren't for the issue .

I bought these boots back in 2012 as a welding boot. I wore them everyday for two years in a welding environment, as well as back home around the yard. I really enjoyed the high level of comfort these boots offered while wearing them everyday. A lot of people were concerned with the soft soles, so let me tell you this, I stepped in many very hot things and never melted through the sole, so that's a plus. After that I wore them in a butcher shop for a year, because they were slip resistant, waterproof and easy to clean. They were retired after that. I absolute loved these boots, but they did gave their downsides. First, the liner inside on both of my boots was the first thing to go, it would follow my foot out of the boot when I took them off. Second, the black part cracked quite a bit where my foot bends at the toe, this started to compromise the waterproofness of the boot. Then the sole started separating quite a bit, and all at once after four years, the sole on the right boot pulled apart all the way back to the heel. I still wear them from time to time with a hose clamp holding the sole on Because they're comfortable. I would certainly recommend these boots, mine did not see an easy life

I wasn't sure how I'd like the polyurethane sole. It felt too much like plastic to me and I was worried my feet would slip on smooth surfaces but they aren't as bad as I thought. They're comfortable and not too heavy. The biggest plus with these is the toes aren't pointed up in the air like their original work boot. I couldn't stand that. They made my feet and toes hurt every time I wore them but these soles are flatter and closer to the ground. The only con I see in these is the black waterproof membrane on the outside of the boot. After a year of wear, it seems to be cracking where my foot bends. Other than that, I don't really have any complaints about this boot

I like to wait til the boots have run their life before I give a review. In this case, I have owned the TL PRO PowerWelts for about 18 months. In the early months they were an excellent boots with very good water resistance and were very comfortable. As the boots broke in and began to wear down, I started to notice its differences compared to the TL PRO 6" Pit Boss I've used before. The comfort subsided, but likely could have been revitalized with a new insole to accomodate my higher arches. Another deterioration of the boot was with the sidewalls. The lack of thicker grained leather led to much less support along mixed terrain. I nearly rolled my ankles. All and all, a good boot for the money. I put a lot of miles on them, and they surely saw rough use and they are still going strong. I would probably not buy another pair, perhaps give the endurance series a try or back to the pit boss's.

They seem decently made, but the width is just too narrow. The toe box is extremely tight, even in wide width.

This is my 2nd pair of these I'm not impressed this time. I work in a landfill so I'm in the elements in Chicagoland. For some odd reason the boot laces keep cutting on the metal loop holes!!!!
