Miss the 925's - Zappos rocks! Got these shoes the next day. Now, if Zappos could only get NB to bring back the 925's I'll be one happy camper.

Comfortable OKJ looking - This shoe has a high toe box which makes it comfortable, but a bit clunky looking. It resembles the Propét that way. The 5W width is more like a true 3 or 4W

Very Comfortable, Ugly Shoe - Although it's very comfortable and supportive with ample toe room, the brown leather MW926 is arguably the ugliest walking shoe ever made. Be forewarned that the many narrow, hard-to-clean stripes in the soles will pick up countless tiny pebbles and stones that may turn your shoes into grinding pads if worn on your ceramic tile or hardwood floors. You would think New Balance would include a small insert in the box to list the many ballyhooed features of its top-of-the-line walking shoe!

Great fit, ugly shoe - Great fit, very comfortable, but the look of the rough leather, which doesn't show just how ugly it is in the pictures, makes it an old man shoe. Put smooth leather on this shoe and its perfect.

Excellent build quality and fit but somehow feels too heavy. I'm a great fan of New Balance because they stock my weird size (14 EE). I've had great results over the years with many of my faves (like the excellent 853). Recently, I been really happy with the lightweight and excellent MK706B (Postal) and MW811 (both very similar NB walking shoes in all black). The MW926 is a bit more expensive and has absorbing heel shock gel, and sports real leather uppers. I was expecting it to look better and feel just as good (if not better) than the Postal and 811 - but it isn't so. The 926 is heavy and feels a tad unbalanced by comparison. The fit and cushioning is fine, but walking feels harder and I get an "ahhh" feeling when I take them off (not a good sign). The leather creased up pretty quick and they ended up looking like old sneakers after just a few wearings (so the fashion angle wasn't a standout either). Fit and cushioning was fine. All in all "OK" - but not superb. I'd recommend the 811 or 706 Postal over these (even though the synthetic uppers might not last as long).

Disappointed - I so looked forward to these shoes, but was very disappointed. My first pair of NB and I may purchase again, but never the 926. Very uncomfortable across my instep.

Just don't look down - Bleh it's a shame these shoes look like something my grandpa would wear because they're really comfortable and just feel good. If they looked good they'd be awesome shoes.

Great shoes - I have owned New Balance 925 for the last 5 years and have loved them. Now with the 925 gone, I now wear 926s and they are just as good and they have even made a few improvements. If you are on you feet most of the day I would highly recommend these shoes. They take about a week to breakin but after that they fit like a glove. Your feet will love you for them. Wish they were cheaper but then sometimes you get what you pay for.

MW926 a little pricey for what you get - The shoe is generally well made and comfortable but seems a little narrow for a "D" which is what I purchased.

New Balance's MW926 - Normally New Balance are consistent with their sizing. The MW926 failed to meet that standard. My shoes were narrow. I had to bump up to a 6E. The shoe is still a tighter fit over the arch than my other New Balance. The plus size of this was Zappos’ response. They actually overnighter the wider pair to me before I sent back the first pair. THAT'S GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Wide enough - I have real problems finding shoes at 6E so I was quite pleased to find these fit well. The look a little like "nurses" shoes but the fit was worth it. I bought a pair of white and black and I find the black is not noticeable as a special shoe.

New Balance MW926 - An excellent shoe for someone who has foot pain. It looks a little clumpy and orthopedic, but helped with my husband’s heel and ankle pain very much. He has a narrow foot which is very hard to fit and these did.

Good Shoe - They seem to have fairly good arch support, which I really need, in addition to the roll bar built into the heel, another good feature. They look good, too! The only thing is I think they may already be showing a very small amount of wear on the insole after just a few weeks, which seems a little early. However, I do wear them everyday for much of the day.

New Balance MW 926 - These are good shoes. They are very sturdy and well made. Comfortable, although they can get hot after a long day of wearing.

Comfortable, but ugly - This shoe feels very good, but I had to replace the insoles with ones that I purchased because it wasn't as soft as I like; my back feels much better when I'm wearing these shoes.

Always A Change - I have found New Balance one of the only companies that makes shoes for wide feet. The 926 comes in a 6 Wide which equates to a Triple E. They look fine and I use them daily for work where I stand most of the day. The drawback with NB is they continually change their shoe models and styles. As soon as you find one you like, it is replaced by another model which doesn't fit the same as the old model. I found I needed a half size larger with the 926.

Great work shoe - When I first tried these on, they felt stiff and hard. I was worried that they might not be as comfortable as my NB 609's which I love. I bought these as my work shoes. I'm on my feet up to 11 hrs a day. After I started walking on them on pavement, they felt supportive and comfortable (no longer hard and stiff). I have had them for 2 weeks now. So far no discomfort even when I'm on my feet up to 11 hrs a day. I bought a 1/2 size larger than my normal size in case I need to wear a thicker sock for comfort.

Shoe is very comfortable but looks too 'boxy.' I was a little disappointed with look, but fit and feel makes these my favorite shoes to knock around in.

Great shoe for wide feet! Great shoe for somebody like me who has very wide feet. Even better customer service from Zappos.

Excellent motion control for the over-pronator. I'm on my feet all day at work, and this style provides the support and comfort I've come to expect with New Balance products.

New Balance MW926 - Wonderfully comfortable, like pillows--good arch support-I have high arches with plantar fasciitis, heel spur and Morton’s neuroma. After about 20 pairs of shoes, I settled on these - super cushioning...now the downside... After about 6 hours of use both shoes developed an annoying squishing/squeaking sound, to the point it is noticeable by others, and I don't want to wear these inside work or public places. What a colossal disappointment...Since only one other reviewer complained about this, I am assuming that this is not a problem with ALL of these shoes. TRY them out for yourself, if it weren't for this problem, these shoes would be perfect. I will try another pair and see how it works out; this is how much I liked them for comfort.

About the shoe - My husband is very hard to fit shoes. He really likes the sneaker, but the one sneaker feels real tight, but the other foot feels great.

A Good Choice - I liked the feel of this shoe from the first time I put it on. It is comfortable, and looks good. It felt a little snug for me, but that's probably just me. My feet tend to swell.

The NB926 is nice but a rubs a bit around my ankle. I've worn the NB843 10.5 EE for several years, but thought it was too snug in the toe for total comfort. The 926 fits much better in toe, but does rub my ankles. Aside from that, I like the snug fit in the heel and roomy fit in the toe much better than the 843.

New Balance sneaker - Generally happy with the shoe and very impressed with quick delivery from Zappos.
