Best walking shoe - I'm a mail carrier who has faithfully bought & worn New Balance 608 & 620 cross-trainers in bulk for work for years. I decided to try this walking shoe which is considerably more expensive to see if it was worth the price. It is and more. Simply the most comfortable steps I've ever taken. They are not as sporty or sleek as the cross-trainers and can look like two big pillows on the bottoms of your feet but if you walk a great deal or stand all day long I've never worn a better shoe for the job. So far they are as durable as the NB cross-trainers too. I'm sold, and Zappos had them on my feet in less than 48 hours as always.

I would buy again in a heart beat. I bought these on another recommendation I read. I feel that these shoes are great. I had plantar fasciitis a few months ago and have had to put in inserts in any shoe I buy. I still get some pain with non-insert shoes but not with these. I can wear them all day and not feel any pain just as they come from the factory. I have a wide foot and only Zappos had them in my size plus the shipping was great. These are top end of the New Balance line and well worth the price.

Comments On NB MW926 - After ordering twice this shoe is wide enough and is correctly sized. Has nice toe room and excellent support.

Great shoe for my foot problem. I broke my left leg in Dec 2004 and have been having a difficult time recovering from my injury. The bone broke close to the ankle requiring a metal plate to be surgically implanted in my leg. It has required me to wear athletic shoes for all occasions due to the pain and support needed due to my injured leg/foot. I started out wearing NB 250's, a black high top umpire shoe, but it lacked the added support and cushioning that I found in the MW926 when it was time to purchase a new pair of shoes. I bought a white pair of MW926s for physical therapy first along with a pair of black NB 608s for everyday office wear. Once I wore the MW926's I quickly realized they were far superior to the 608's in comfort and support. I sent the 608's back to Zappos and purchased this black pair of MW926s. I truly love these shoes and my feet have never felt better.

Most Comfortable Travel Walking Shoes - Great walking shoes for traveling. Excellent all round support and comfortable for wide feet. Not too casual and color works with jeans as well as khakis. Comparison shopped with Rockport Blackville, Brooks Synergy 2, Brooks Addiction Walker and this is best for anytime all day wear. Definitely not the best looking one but a great option for travelers who need to pack light with shoes that you can wear for both day and night outs. Of course, you can’t beat ZAPPOS huge selection of shoes and sizes, pricing, exceptional speedy delivery, and certainly the excellent customer service and returns. Thank you ZAPPOS!

NB MW926 is a winner - Very comfortable shoe with great support. Due to padding, the shoe looks larger from the outside but inside fit is true and wide enough for my wide feet.

Comfort Stride - The mw926 gives you balance, support throughout your entire foot. This shoe is well built and comfortable.

Max stability - Problematic supination. Had pair of 842, excellent shoe but little tight in toe box with ankle brace and orthodic. Bought these 926 because of roomier toe box. I knew to get two sizes larger from past experience. Excellent results! Shoes are very comfortable and supportive allowing me to walk well without ankle pain. Yes, I'm very pleased with these shoes and with smooth transaction with ZAPPOS!

The New Balance's MW926 are comfortable and fit well - The shoes are true to size and width. It is very hard for me to find shoes wide enough but these do the job.

Pain free feet!!! Wow!!!! My feet have never had it so good. I have had problem feet for years and these shoes are the only ones that I can wear that do not aggravate those darn heel spurs at all!!! Zappos rocks with their speedy delivery. Arrived in promptly with no charge!!! What more can a person want? Thanks Zappos!

Big feet - I wear a size 16EE, hard to find. This shoe is perfectly comfortable and misses all my corns and calluses.

GREAT WALKING SHOE - Best pair of walking shoes I have ever owned. Complete comfort from the first day. Slightly more than I usually pay for this type shoe but was well worth it.

WalkALot - Shoe does fine once I replace the insole. For the price of this shoe, a higher quality insole should be provided to ensure comfort for the user.

Heavy Duty comfort - MW926 has proven to be a good shoe. I'm a very heavy man and walk daily, alternating pairs of shoes day by day. I'd recommend them to any man whose needing long-lasting support.

Incredibly Comfortable - These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in recent memory. For several years now, I've stuck to SL-2 lasted shoes, as I know they'll at least fit. After a string of disappointments in New Balance's ever-changing lineup, these are a real winner. They're not much to look at, but at least they're available in more than just black and white.

The best they can do? I've worn New Balance for the last ten plus years. I rely on their quality and design to keep me on my feet and working. This is not an easy task. I have wide feet, high arches and instep, and a serious problem with supination do to congenital disease. I can live with the MW926, but I miss the style, comfort, room, and maneuverability of the old 925 series, and these just do not compare.

Overall good shoe. Very comfortable. Plenty of room in the toe box. A true SL-2 last. Zappos service and support is superior (as always).

New Balance MW926 - Good, comfortable shoe. The only minor problem is getting the upper part sufficiently tight around the ankle.

This shoe needs ventilation - In hot weather, it sweats too much. A few well-placed ventilation holes around the base and the top would make this shoe a lot more useful. I plan to drill my own.

I own other New Balance shoes & found these run about a 1/2 size shorter. In all, I like them. They were marked right.

I like this shoe! Finally, some relief for my sore feet! I have not had a pair of shoes that fit well for awhile as I wear a size 12.5. You just cannot find that size in a store. In these particular shoes, I had to return them for a size 13, so I would recommend ordering a half size larger. The ordering and return procedures are extremely painless with Zappos. I recommend Zappos themselves even more than the shoe!

Comfortable and dressy enough - I purchased the New Balance MW926 as an acceptable dress shoe recommended by my podiatrist due to a case of plantar fasciitis due to over pronation. The shoe corrects very well, is very comfortable, true to size and fits my orthotics. I like to color but the suede texture takes a little getting used to. They pass off well for dress shoes and are certainly more comfortable than most.

New Balance MW926 Walking Shoe - This shoe was troublesome to obtain. Choosing the proper shoe for someone with a pronation problem is not well understood by those who sell it, and it is not easy for the one buying it to learn (or relearn several years later). Otherwise, the shoe, though not attractive, suits me. So far I am glad I purchased it.

Not the best looking shoe, but it is the most comfortable I've owned for work. I deliver packages for a living and it's got good padding under the balls of the feet (very important) as well as the heel.
