The boots may be 5e on the outside, but a 2e on the inside..The roof of the boot was sort of warped which rubs the top of the foot

I had these yrs. ago , but they don't fit the same .They are 5xx on the outside but 1 x on the inside not much toe room.

The Cliff Walker is a great boot for fit and comfort. That being said, it does have one SERIOUS flaw. The glue holding the sole in place. Out of 3 pairs in the last year, 2 had to be replaced due to the sole seperating! The manufacturer needs to be contacted about this issue. Just received the 4th pair in one year. Zappos is great with their guarantee but the return rate on the boots have me looking for another boot my husband will wear.

They are sturdy and the fit in the toe box and heel areas is very comfortable. Unfortunately, they rub like crazy around the tops as you walk. Even after loosening the laces and wearing thick socks the rubbing irritated the skin so much that I couldn't wear them anymore after three attempts.

A disappointment - I bought the shoes for work, where I am constantly kneeling and the insole of the shoe has started to break down after four days. The quick lace eyelets arrived bent out of shape and I needed to straighten them.

I like the idea of this shoe. I wear 10.5 EEE, but these seemed a bit too large. I had heel slippage, even with the laces tied up (painfully) tight, so I am returning without much opportunity to actually feel them in action. Not sure about the true to width, as the oversize made it hard to judge. I will try going down to size 10 to see how that works

Ordered 5x wide and could not even get the boot on my foot. Second pair of propets with same issue, I'm finished with them

I am a woman with women's size 9 wide feet with bunions on my big toes. It is almost impossible to find shoes that don't hurt my bunions. For years, I've been wearing classic Crocs with socks (cool, I know :)), which are the only comfortable shoes I could find. Crocs have a very wide, roomy toe box. I searched and searched for "real" shoes that would not press on my bunions, but all the toe boxes are too narrow. I decided to look at men's shoes and ordered these Propet Cliff Walker Medicare / HCPCS Code = A5500 Diabetic Shoe, SKU 72443528 (really more like boots) in men's size 10, width 5E. While the boots have a wide toe box, fit my foot, and did not touch my bunions...the BAD NEWS is the tongue was way too long. And the boot top was cut way too high, so it dug into my ankle with every step. I knew those boots would cripple me if I tried to walk in them for more than 5 minutes, so I returned them. I also ordered the Propet Stability Walker Strap shoes in men's size 10, width 5E (which is supposed to be extra, extra wide). Now, those shoes are NOT really extra, extra wide, but since my foot is only wide, the shoe is just wide enough to not press on my bunions. I decided to keep those.

Worst shoes I've ever worn! Choices for width were 3E and 5E. I normally wear 4E. Knowing 5E would be too wide, I opted to try the 3E. Even with loose lacing they are too tight. Immediately after my heel touches down, the rest of my foot seems to slam down. My feet, ankles and calves are swollen and painful and I'm now shopping for a new pair of shoes. Zappos service is still number one.

The shoes were very comfortable and I thought they would last. Unfortunately after 8 months they are falling apart. Soles are worn down so much I need to have them resoled. Leather has not held up either. I am really disappointed because I have so much trouble finding shoes that fit. Timberlands lasted three times as long.

The cliff walker is a very good half boot. Great support, waterproof, and good traction. If you lace them up to the top it is a bit inflexible until you break them in. A nice wide toe box so my toes squished together. I would buy them again in a heart beat

Glad Propet offers extra wide sizes. Fits a super wide foot.

With heavy socks fit is fine although adding a silicone inner sole makes the bottom of my foot more comfortable. Lacing is smooth & over-the-ankle height feels good for my bad left ankle. Only used for day hiking so far but grip feels solid.

Didn't notice that these are plastic waterproof, but they are still not too hot here in the desert.

So far the fit is good (I've worn them for 5 full hours). Reviews should be written 4 months into wearing them. Traction was good on snow and ice, wet slick concrete floor. So far I'd recommend them.

This particular size was perfect for my husband!. This is his 2nd pair! Customer Service at Zappos is fantastic. Can’t say enough positive things about the Team and the Company!

Comfortable shoes, good construction, wide fit. Returned because I didn’t like the color and they were too heavy for long distance hiking. Great everyday shoe, especially for those with wide feet!!!!

My 16 year old grandson is very happy with these hikers. He says they're very comfortable. I'm glad Propet makes wide width shoes and thankful to Zappos for carrying a good selection of widths. These are 5E and fit perfect.

I got them for the winter I do not think I would wear them in the heat of the summer but they look good
