These shoes are really good. The bad thing is the suede wears down way too quick and the heel does too. Also, the little padding on the sole comes off and keeps moving around. Other than that the best shoe I skated in yet. I switched from Accels and these are way better. BUY THESE!!!

After about a month of skating in them the heel section of the shoe splits from the top! I've had it happen to two pairs now. They need to use better glue or something.

This is one of the best shoes that I’ve had. It had great grip and it made my tricks a lot higher, mainly ollies, kickflips, nollies. They skated super good, but the ONLY problem I had with them was the cushion. When I would bail it would just kill my feet. I fractured a heel while skating these shoes. If you ollie 10+ stairs I’d say stay away from these cuz it'll hurt your feet. Other than that they were great shoes and I’d recommend them for most people. They look awesome too! =D

Really good shoe for skating if you’re in to vulcanized. Personally I would go with the eS Therory's instead. overall- excellent shoe

I have 2 complaints about this shoe. The insoles it comes with are very bad. They slide to the front of the shoe making you constantly adjust them, which is really annoying. I just replaced them with another sport gel insole. Also, they wear pretty fast. In my Ollie area, the black stripe is completely worn off and the suede is wearing pretty badly. So I would recommend these shoes to somebody who doesn’t skate or to someone that doesn’t skate very big drops (thin sole).
I'd also recommend:
Any Fallens, Emerica Heretic 2, or Etnies Arto 2.

Get the suede because the synthetic doesn’t last at all. I’ve only had mine for like a month and they are already trashed. They are a great shoe and comfortable. Skate awesome. Probably better for heel flip variations rather than kick flip variations.

What I thought of square one -
Well first up like most vulcanized shoes the sides are thin so shoe goo them before you even skate them so you’re not ripping through to your sock. Also they're more for mellow skating if your skating high impact stuff and throwing yourself down big sets this shoe isn’t for you. Your foot will be bruised all over. Also if you drag your heel or toe to stop it’s gonna wear out really fast. So shoe goo first, take good care of the sole and try el toro with it and you'll be fine.
I'd also recommend:
vulcanized ones like reynolds 3 (emerica), DC pride, DC pure, vans av era, lakai selects (howard, koston, caroll, etc.)

We have loved the way eS shoes have worn and fit in the past. However, this pair is too big to be worn now (he's twelve and I'm sure he will grow into them very soon.)

The Sidewalls are really thin. I would buy order a shoe that is 1/2 size smaller than you would wear. But the shoe looks good.

These shoes skate very well overall, but they do seem a little thin around the ankle and toe areas.

Cool -
These shoes have great board feel and they’re awesome on varial flips and 360 flips.
The sole it was grippy but wears out fast. But that’s how you skate em.
It’s not that comfy but it’s really good to skate!

Comfort -
I've had these shoes for about 2 months and have been skating in them the day I got them. They look great and feel very natural, though I do have some issues with them; the stock insoles were very flimsy and thin but that's nothing that good ol' Dr.Scholl can't fix. Also the Denim material (if there is any) is weak and rips easily. The soles of the shoes are also thin and soft, making them prone to wear. But I find them very comfortable and quite attractive.

Pretty good shoe, I got the blue insole black outsole, pretty sweet. After about 3 weeks the top is ripping but there is still a whole nother layer underneath, they’re not good for varial flips, but hey no shoes are.

Cool shoes -
When I got these shoes and opened the box they looked different, so you really have to get used to them. But after a while there great shoes and the only thing is that the rubber in the front wears down really fast but everything else is pretty good. I really wish they had these shoes in leather, because the material they make the square ones in tears pretty fast.

Wow I bought these online and when I got them I tried them on and did a few tricks. I couldn’t get any of them right and they hurt my feet. These are way too thin for my comfort. I can not skate vulcanized shoes. But the Accels kick butt.

My Humble Opinion -
I feel like the Square One should be the best shoe I've ever worn. But for some reason, I just can't get tricks quite right in them. The Square Ones, when worn down, go to this sort of box-like shape, not unlike the DC Lynx. I don't know, I personally like the shoe, but it just didn't work for me. I like more rounded shoes.
I'd also recommend:
Er... I dunno about that but try the Emerica Leos, the DC Danny Ways or pretty much any Nike Dunk.

Where to start... these shoes were great when I first bought them. They broke in within an hour of wearing them. My only problem was that they didn’t last long; I’ve had them for a month and the toe cap is gone and split. The ollie area rips easily, but it has about 5 layers. Not the best shoe to buy.

Uhhh...
First off, I would like to thank Zappos for delivering these shoes super fast, but these shoes are very uncomfortable and the toe cap pokes out so it rips kinda fast. I’ve had these shoes not even a week and the toe cap already has ripped overall.

DON’T BUY -
These shoes were ok for a week. I'm an ok skater and when I got them, they were great. After a week, the grip was worn near the kickflip area and the toe cap was split. Now after a month, my mom who never buys me shoes bought me a pair because they looked so bad!
