Get these!
They are amazing. Sooo much board feel I love them. I had about 3 pairs and I can’t picture getting a different shoe.
I'd also recommend:

Sick -
A great shoe. Nothing I don't like about it. The insole tends to get holes around the big toe and heel, but so do all the other shoes with the STI Foam footbed. The sole is a little thin though, I can see the G2 gel coming out of the heel of my right shoe, but that’s only because I live in a place with a lot of hills, you gotta stop somehow. But I have learned so many new tricks since I've had these shoes, definitely a good buy.
I'd also recommend:
Reynolds 3, and if this shoe is too thin, go with the Accel

Good shoe -
Just got them in yesterday, wore them to work, I didn’t even have to break them in, they were comfortable from the get go. These replaced my KSL DOS which I didn’t like too much. eS is the best. I would get these again for the price.

Truly, a great shoe -
I've had the Square Ones for about a month now and their still not ripped up everywhere. The toe cap is starting to expose and the grip is still holding up very nicely. I don’t know what the rest of these kids are talking about but the black suede with the gum sole ones are definitely a really good shoe. Yes you should order a half size smaller due to the lack of the occasional really puffy skate shoes which makes the Square Ones a lot lighter and flexible. WARNING! IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE FEET DO NOT BUY...unless you are going to change the foot padding then buy them. They have enough board feel to make it seem that you are skating with nothing but socks on.

Best shoes -
These shoes have to be one of the best shoes I've ever worn for skating. They are ridiculously comfortable, light, flexible, and over all great for skating. The only down side of these shoes are that the grip wears out quick, so if you love kick flips and tre-flips then these shoes won't last a long time. Also for some people like me these shoes run half a size big so if you like your feet semi loose in your shoes than get a half size smaller. Other than that these may be my favorite skating shoe.

Best Skate shoe -
These are sick. Most of you know vulc version of the Accel, which I also recommend. These feel so good on your feet, and once you break them they skate so well. Sole is thicker than most vulcs, but still thin so I’m not doing any big gaps in these.

eS square one -
eS square ones, what can I say? This shoe is an awesome vulcanized version of the accels. Good grip don’t rip and good sole and you never rip the laces.. I can 3 flip these all day and not a ripped lace or stitch the only problem I’ve had with them so far is that I ripped the inside of the toecap on my switch foot. I don’t really know how though overall good shoe u should definitely get these.

The best -
I LOVE THESE SHOES...they gave soo much board feel and the sole took a good beatin’ before it gave in. The only thing I didn’t like was once the toe cap was exposed it took a day before they were destroyed. Completely definitely buy them if you skate!

My son's shoes -
Birthday present for my son - eS is his favorite brand and the Square One was a hit. I can buy these with confidence - good product and Zappos speed of processing is a winning combo.

Forget the haters -
I had these for over a month and they were sick. The only reason I started skating new shoes is because the bottoms lost grip. Otherwise, they are a great shoe. eS is an amazing company with an gnarly team. Don't hate, just skate.

Heres my ten Cents -
If you flick right the toe cap shouldn’t split. The sole just wears down. Don’t listen to these guys it’s a good shoe so buy it. All eS shoes are smaller that marked.

A Real Skate Shoe with Street Style -
I was looking for a cool casual fall sneaker for work and informal nights out at the local bars. I wanted something that was comfortable, yet stylish and not too overly skate shoe (meaning subtle colors, not too puffy and no loud logos). The Square One fits the bill. This shoe has the style of the Nike Air Force Ones but without the Nike Stigma and sneaker boy gaudiness. The shoe is super comfy and the sticky rubber outsole provides great grip.

A great Skate shoe -
I purchased my square ones after owning several pairs of accels (the square one with a cupsole rather than vulcanized sole). I loved the way the accel looked and skated, but wanted to try something vulcanized, so what better then throwing a vulk sole on the accel. The result is a great looking shoe, that more importantly skates/holds up very well. Great shoe!

I'm probably the only one who skates that is writing a review. I have to say I bought these shoes on a friend's recommendation and they didn't live up to my expectations. The suede is pretty durable and, yes, these shoes are comfortable but in skating they aren't the best. It takes a pretty long while to break them in and they didn't have very good board feel because of the sti foam. The grip is like a squarish/waffle grip and if they tried to copy Vans, then they didn't do a good job.

I bought the Square One eager to try out a pair of eS for the first time. All the padding was very comfortable and the fabric was easy to clean. However I was disappointed that the shoes didn't come with STI foam footbeds, which they could have really used considering the insoles were thinner than they should have been. I also found that the soles were very thin and provided little arch support. Other than that I thought the shoes were very comfortable and looked really cool and completely original.

Best skate shoes ever!
These shoes are so great... I love the way it feels! I usually don’t buy es skate shoes, but these Square Ones have to be the best skate shoes I’ve ever used. Now I am a hardcore skater and the only problem is that the heel wears down real fast and the toe rips quickly, but still… I think they are amazing and I recommend these to any skater out there that is thinking of buying these shoes!

eS Square One -
The shoes look good...but...that's about it. The tongue-centering straps inside rubbed against my feet, and I almost considered cutting them out. I didn't even skate in these much, and they wore down quick. I stopped wearing them for awhile and then decided to wear them again. The only way I got past the strap discomfort was to wear two pairs of socks. Overall, the look is great, but the shoe needs more padding. A big disappointment from eS.
I'd also recommend:
Vans, Emericas, other shoes from eS besides the Square One.
