Let's be honest, I love Vans, I've been wearing them since the early 80's. But they have NEVER had their sizing in order. Half-size this way tomorrow a half-size that way. Bought 3 pairs of Vans for both my two kids and me and none of them were even close... and we're currently wearing Vans, WTH! These were for the 4yr old who is was wearing the EXACT same shoe in an 8. We went to a 9 and the kid could've hit the slopes in Aspen so we went down to an 8.5 and the difference in size is barely noticeable. Guess he grow into them, let's hope anyway. Get your act together Vans.

Cute shoes, but they are very stiff and perhaps too narrow for my son. My 16-month old cried every time I put them on him and he would undo the Velcro and remove them himself. I will be exchanging them for something more comfortable.

The tongue of the shoe is not smooth inside one of the shoes. It's a really rough seam. Other than that they are super cute. Can't give them 5 stars though. That seam would never fly with an adult shoe.

The shoes look great and my son liked them - but he's only had them for a month and has already worn a hole through both toes. I'm going to have to switch to something else. Also the tongue tends to get twisted over the course of a day of playing - I found I had to open up the shoes and straighten the toe out. My son has skinny feet so there may have been more room in his shoes than other kids would have.

Definitely worn and used

I've worn vans for 30 years, however I just bought my 21 month old a pair of old skools and in under a month they are falling apart. Very disappointing for what has usually been a good product.

These shoes are so cute but rubbed the back of my son's heels so bad that he had sores on them...after wearing them once! Tried them again at a later date and they did the same thing! Big waste of money and very disappointed!
