As always, Vans puts out another ridiculously cute limited slip-on (Owl). And, as always, the sizing is way off. My daughter is just fitting into a size 1 youth, and we got these in 13 knowing they'd run big. Her feet just fall right out of the shoes. So, I'd say these are at least a full size large.

We purchased the owl version, so cute! My 7-year-old daughter loves to wear these shoes. She apparently has slightly wide feet since these start to hurt her pinkie toes when she wears them repeated days. She wears them, but we make sure to rotate shoes so she doesn't get blisters or rub spots. Not completely unexpected for what is a fairly basic shoe, but would have been nice if she found them super comfy. For the price, I'm satisfied, but will look for a shoe that accommodates a wider fit next time.

Had to go a full size down for my 9 year old daughter. They still feel a bit loose, especially in the ankle, but she has narrowish feet and as she says, she can't kick them off too easily. They are rather clompy, but it's nice to have slip-ons that she finds stylish.

These are adorable, very cute and we loved them EXCEPT, they run big, about a half size larger than we usually buy. In addition, my daughter has a narrow foot and these are too wide, she flip flops in them. I think it's probably just the style as the lace-up style fits her fine. We love the print, but unfortunately, they are going back.

Really adorable shoes! My kids are pretty hard on their shoes. These hold up well and don't show too much dirt (even though there is so much white). I do think they run slightly large/long. My daughter has narrow feet and these seem to work well for her. If you're hoping to get some extra mileage out of these shoes by ordering a half or whole size up, I'd advise against it. Order they size your child wears right now.

So so cute!!! Ordered Sunday night, received Tuesday afternoon....very fast delivery. They are about a half size too big. I ordered thinking there would be a little room to grow, but there is way two much she prob won't fit in them even after 2nd grade,haha. She is sad we have to send them back to go down a size but I'm hoping it will be a quick return.

Great shoe - These shoes are so cute. My daughter loves them. Also, after a day of rain and mud I threw them in the washer and they held up beautifully. They do tend to run a tiny bit big. As far as comfort and ease, they couldn't be better.

Good product - We purchased two pairs of Vans Kids Slip-Ons. They are a great looking shoe. My daughter is almost a size 5 in women's shoes. However, she is only 8 and her foot has not developed completely and so her heel is not as wide as an adult’s. Thus, her foot has a tendency to slip out of most shoes, but in this case, his feet did not slip out. They are not narrow either which is great for growing, active feet. Arch support is moderate, but my daughter said she is comfy and she loves the leopard look. The youth size 3 is a rare find in a good looking comfy shoe. Be mindful that these shoes are great, but they are not really meant for walking and running around for 4+ hours. My daughter only complained of rubbing on the top of her toes after walking and playing at a theme park for about 5 hours. She never complains when she is in her Nike running shoes, so it's just something to keep in mind. In summary, she loves the look, they are comfy and serve their purpose... for us at least.

Vans review - I bought these Vans for my 7 year old daughter. She loved them so much she now has 3 pairs. The leopard print looks great with everything. They run a full size big, but we love that they are easy to put on and no nasty shoestrings to tie.

No luck. Purchased Pink/Fandango, size 11 for my 7 year old. (She usually wears a size 12.) Her heels slipped out even with socks. Tried 10.5 and she had a really hard time getting her foot to slip in easily. Sent both back with great return options.

Vans slip ons - My daughter wears these shoes every day and loves them. They are durable and comfortable, no blisters like other canvas shoes. They do run big, I had to exchange them for a half size smaller, but Zappos was so great about it & made that incredibly easy to do. I'm glad my daughter likes these so much so I plan to get her a second pair in another different color.

My daughter's shoes feel a little wide. When she wears them with socks no problem. Other than that they look good and feel comfortable.

So many cool, unique designs attract lots of compliments - My daughter loves her Vans slip-ons! She has had several pairs and has fun selecting from the HUGE range of designs available on Zappos. The shoe runs a little big, and since my daughter wears them daily, they usually start to fall apart before she actually grows into them (usually last around 3 months before holes in the toes appear). Great shoe if you prefer fashion over durability.

I think that these shoes were fantastic! They need to be ordered a size smaller so that they fit due to the fact that they are slip-ons and you can’t tie them to fit any better. I think that they are great for walking around or wearing to school. We were recently at an amusement park and they worked great on my daughter. She never complained about them hurting her feet! We were there for about 8 hours!

Order shoes 1 size smaller! Hi, these shoes are adorable BUT order 1 size smaller, they were huge on my daughter!

My twins normally wear a size 1.5. I ordered the 12.5 based on the reviews, but really they needed a full one and a half size smaller to get a good fit. Otherwise, my girls love these shoes!

Good sneakers - My daughter loves them. Almost wears them everyday to school.

Adorable but runs huge! These Vans fit the bill for cute, stylish and cool - as well as affordable to have in many colors. However - they fit a good size + large on my daughter. That's a bummer. And they aren't all that comfy for long days of activity. But the cool factor can't be beat.

Great shoes! Size not that accurate! I bought these same shoes a month ago (at other store) but they were a full size larger than marked, I made the return and bought'em again here, a size smaller! For the rest everything is great! I would give 10 stars for the designs and comfort of the shoe!

Cute and in style - Despite the fact that they are a little big, my daughter loves them and refuses to give them up to return for a smaller size. So, I guess she'll continue to slip around in them until she grows into them. She wants another pair in a different print! Zappos is the greatest... little by little I'm converting all my friends into Zappos customers.

Great shoe but not true to size. This shoe looks and feels great but runs almost a full size larger.

Watch the Fit - The shoes we ordered were exactly what the kids wanted - both pairs were stylish and hip, and fit their individual personalities perfectly. However, that is the only "fit" that went well! Both pairs of shoes ran WAY big - and we even ordered a whole size smaller, knowing that these shoes tend to run big. The kids would have been heartbroken had we sent them back, so we purchased custom sole inserts to help with the slipping - and the kids still double up their socks in order to make the shoe fit.

Cute shoes - Bought these for my 6 year old daughter...they are very cute and fun but a little wide. When she initially put them on, she was running like her shoes were too big but now she has adjusted and likes them for everything.

My daughter loves the shoes. They did seem a little bigger than marked. It might be a good idea to go a 1/2 size smaller.

Sizing - These seem to run big. I had to return and reorder in a 1/2 size smaller. They are a Great sneaker! Look great! : )
