The best shoes ever and I am very picky. They are so comfortable. Absolutely no break-in time. Roomy for the toes and I have slightly wide feet so they are perfect for me. If you need more than moderate arch support you can just take out the insoles and put in some others (which I did). I'm thinking of getting another pair before they get sold out. I also tried Keen Briggs but like Presidio more.

Keen Presidio - I love this shoe. It was comfortable out of the box, and just gets better every day.

One of the most comfortable shoes I've worn - Like many other reviewers, I was pleasantly surprised at how amazingly comfortable the Keen Presidio shoes are. I bought a black pair a half-size bigger than my usual size after trying a different model on at a local shoe store. I wear mid-weight SmartWool socks with them. They required no break in, and have enough support so that I don't have to wear my orthotics with them. The wide toe-box is definitely different looking, but the comfort is so worth it. I have wide feet and again, like other reviewers, I like that it has room for my feet without being so wide in the heel that the shoe falls off. These stay on. I compared these to the Keen Briggs and found them more comfortable around the ankle and Achilles. One note: I've noticed that some catalog listings have the Keen Presidio listed as waterproof. I have found them not to be. Water beaded on the leather the first time out, but subsequent wearings the water has soaked in. I've noticed on the Keen web site that the black ones now have their "WP" (waterproof) designation, so maybe I have an earlier version since mine didn't have the "WP" in their name.

Excellent Shoe for Wide Feet - I have a wide foot and Keen are excellent for me. I used to waitress in a pair of Keen Mary-Janes, excellent arch support. I normally wear a 7 but wear 7.5 in Keen shoes. These are excellent shoes for flat wide feet, very well made. My only dilemma was deciding between the red and the blue.

Awesome shoes - These shoes are so comfortable. My husband has been telling me to get some Keens for some time now and I'm glad I finally listened. The shoes are light and I especially like the wider toe box. I can wear them with a variety of different sock weights and they are comfortable with any of them. I love these Keens. They were perfect for me right out of the box.

Love the Presidio - I ordered this shoe because I have a pair of Keen sandals that I love, and I wanted a good all-purpose shoe that I could wear for brisk dog walking, to work (academic), and around town. I've also had problems with plantar fasciitis in the past and foot cramps recently, so I wanted a shoe with good arch support that would still have some flex in the sole. These fill the bill. I ordered the same size as my sandals, which is a half-size smaller than I wear in a running shoe, and these fit perfectly with medium or light weight socks. I particularly wanted the metatomical footbed with both a toe ridge and arch support, so the Zappos reviews were helpful in making sure that I ordered the "right" Keen. I only wish I'd gotten a different color, but maybe I'll buy a second pair.

Great shoe! I have about 14 or 15 different style of Keen shoes and sandals. This particular style runs small.

So great, I bought a 2nd pair! I have the same shoes in red. I have a narrow foot, so I bought a 1/2 size shorter and rely on the laces and thick socks for a snug fit. They go well with both jeans and casual slacks. Only drawback is that they are not completely waterproof.

Great, comfortable shoes - I recently purchased Keen’s Presidio shoe in the walnut color. I am so happy with the Newport style that I decided to try a closed shoe for the winter months. I am not disappointed. The toe area is extremely roomy and there is great arch support. Also, using Zappos is great. I love the fact that I can try the same shoe in different sizes to get the right size shoe and ship the others back at no charge.

The most comfortable shoe ever. I LOVE the funky look and the wonderful wiggle room for the toes. I got it a half size larger than usual to fit nice, thick socks. Now, hubby wants a pair.

I have become a Keen fanatic. A year ago I never heard of them, now I own 8 pair. I bought this style while I was in Montana. They are so comfortable that I bought another pair in a different color. The styling helps the shoes appear smaller on the foot.

Keen Presidio - I have had 6 surgeries on my knees, so I am very aware that I need a shoe that feels comfortable. About a year ago I discovered Keen shoes and have the Presidio in blue as well as my new brown ones. I first ordered a different style of Keens, but they were too narrow. The return process was wonderful! Thanks to everyone that helped me.

I love these shoes - This is a very comfortable shoe; I do a lot of walking everyday so comfort is very important to me. I also get compliments on them each time I wear them. Thank you Keen for making such comfortable shoes.

Great shoe. Very comfortable. Usually have to wear orthotics in all my shoes but can go without in this one. Keens are usually a bit too wide for me, but this one fits fine. I do have to wear a bit thicker sock though, but no big deal, as I start wearing thicker socks this time of year anyway. Usually wear a size 8 1/2, ordered these in 8 1/2, felt true to size on me. Have a pair in brown also.

I was looking for something that had the warmth of my Ultras but a little more style, traction and would retain its shape. These are SO cute! When I took them out of the box I thought I had ordered the wrong size they looked so tiny. But they are a size 8 and comfy. The shearling lining was everywhere but under my foot. I miss that a little but will give that up for the style.

I should start by saying I have very damaged feet and am looking for a very supportive shoe. The Keen Presidio comes close to meeting all of my expectations. Positives: roomy toe box, comfortable, plenty of room for my orthotics, stays on my narrow heel although it's pretty wide, cute in a funky way. Negatives: not quite as solid under foot as some of my other Keens. But I'm wearing it right now and it's definitely a keeper.

Super comfort and support. I really enjoy wearing this shoe. It is a great Keen product. I particularly like having a tie-up Keen I can wear in winter weather. They also provide the much needed support for some heel issues I'm having right now. I had to order it in one size larger than my Keen sandals to fit well.

Loving my Keens! They are soooo cute...look a 'boot-ish' with longer jeans, as the front portion of the shoe has a slight up turn!! VERY comfy! I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10 and I have these in a 10 and they feel good!

Greatest shoe ever - I have bad feet and a bad ankle. These fit perfectly! They provide support without rubbing. They are lightweight, and you can't beat the stub toe protection. Maybe I have been wearing Keens too long. I have been getting all kinds of compliments about the Presidio. I have walnut and black and hope to pick up more before they are discontinued. I have been wearing Keens so long that I don't know what my "regular" size is, but they fit the first time I ordered and felt great right out of the box.

Great shoes - Comfortable shoe. Looks sharp. I like the wide toe bed. Zappos sent them in great time - a super company.

Presidio - I have a hard time finding shoes I like (high arch and an injured Achilles tendon) I also work outside in muddy/rainy conditions. These shoes have been great for me; it takes a lot for your feet to get wet.

Ain't nuthin better! This is the first pair of Keen shoes I have owned. Put 'em on and wore 'em. That simple. Order big folks cuz they run small. Sturdy and handsome, they make my foot look small and sexy. Love them… you will, too.

About a year ago I bought a pair of black Presidios from another site. They were sooooo comfy I wanted another pair. I ordered my second pair (brown) from Zappos recently, and although the browns seem to need more break in time than the black ones did, they are really great too. I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 and I have these in a 7.5. I love Keen shoes. I have a high arch and my feet are hard to shop for. Zappos is awesome. Fast, polite service all around. (Good customer service seems hard to find these days!) Returns are quick and easy. I have become a loyal Zappos customer.

I love these shoes!!! I put these shoes on the day I received them (thanks for the great service Zappos!) and I have worn them every day since. My orthotics fit in them easily. I have mid-foot arthritis and have tried lots of brands to find a comfortable everyday shoe. This is it! I already bought a second pair and will probably get a third pair soon. Total comfort!
