OK I said I'd update on the durability, Well the sole lower is coming apart. I received the shoes on the 25 of August; so these shoes look like they won't last me as long as expected. Shame on you Keen.

In my experience with KEEN shoes they always run small; but, these KEEN Austins were ordered as 10.5. They were tagged as 10.5. I doubt that they were larger than 9.0!

I bought these shoes for my husband in December (Christmas) and they already fell completely apart! The outsole has come off from the rest of the shoe. These used to be great shoes, but the last 2 pairs (in 1 year) have been of a much lower quality.

Very durable my last pair lated almost 3 years.

I bought these same shoes many years ago - buying new ones because they still feel great, look great, love the style.

Roomy. Great for all day walking in all environments.

Solid fit. Very comfortable. Rugged. Looks like a shoe not a boot.

My husband's favorite shoe. He's had several pairs now and a spare new pair in the closet.

I am just now looking to replace these, two and a half years after purchasing. They have been daily wears for that time and have held up great. expect to replace the laces, but otherwise, they are/were fantastic shoes.

I wore these for 2 years. Going to buy a new set now, still wearing them but time for new.

I am on my 5th pair of these over the last 10 years or so. They fit my feet perfectly and are very well built. I highly recommend them.

I've owned several of the Austin shoes over the years. They are a favorite for light hiking, walking and everyday where a robust shoe is desired. I hope Keen doesn't discontinue or change them as they've done with so many of their shoes. I miss the canvas style Austin.

Wonderfully Comfortable! I wore them all day from when I first got them. I have trouble with my feet if the insole isn't made properly. KEEN have never disappointed me in their shoes.

Fit perfectly right out of the box.

These shoes are perfect for my feet because I need extra room in the toe box but am otherwise an average width. And they last and last. I live in NYC and have walked miles on concrete and blacktop in these. They have lasted forever. I bought a second pair before the first pair wore out because I was afraid Keen would discontinue them. They are so solid. The insole is removable, which is helpful because I use orthotics for plantar fasciitis. My girlfriend HATES the way they look but I don't care. If you want a pair of durable and comfortable shoes, these are them.

Yes…these shoes are ugly. If you’re hoping these will up your girl game, you’re wrong. You better be comfortably single OR happily married, because these shoes aren’t handsome at all. THEY ARE incredibly comfortable and they make wearing them for 10-16 hours a day, easy. They’re stiff at first, but they wear in relatively quickly. I have several pairs of Keens and while esthetically pleasing they aren’t, they ARE extremely comfortable, durable and they allow you to hold your footing in rough situations.

Standard Keen! AWESOME

The most important thing that Keen shoes offer me is the wide toe. Lots of other brands brag about "toe room," but in my experience they fail compared to Keen. Because of the wide toe look, they won't win many style points, but do I care. Not at all! This diabetic is happy!

The shoe fits well, looks good and feels good. This is my second pair I bought my first pair about 15 years ago, and swore I'd get another pair, so here I am. If they continue to make them I'd probably get another p air

Great shoe. I’ve had them for three years now and they are still in great shape. They are comfortable, fit as they should, and are an all-around good choice as a travel shoe. I wore these in Italy in the rain and my feet stayed dry throughout. Planning on taking them to Scotland this Spring. These are my go-to when I need a “dressier” shoe and the weather is wet or cold. I’ve hiked in them and wore them on streets. I’ve worn them to work and out to dinner.
