Comfortable shoe. Especially like the wider toe box. Been looking for a shoe like this due to the wide ball of my foot and narrow heal. Good quality construction

Honestly, I want to like these shoes. I have a pair of nice canvas shoes about the same style but made of canvas with some leather patches, that unfortunately aren't made by Keen any longer, so my choice was to try these shoes. I like the appearance, and the fit is good. The issue is they feel 'clunky'. The full leather is heavier, not a lot by weight, just about 20% more over my old favorites, but they just fill thicker and almost like wearing the old wood dutch shoes strapped to my feet. I'll probably continue to wear them, and hope I adjust to the feel over time. I've included a picture, and while it doesn't seem to be much difference, the feel is definitely much different and they are the same size.

The shoe laces are too short; you reduced the padding in the heel and across the top of the of the foot. I have worn this shoe for years. The new pair is not as good as the last 5 pairs.

the current version of this shoe feels like a snug clog, but softer. there's a wide toe box, good, and effective arch support, good, BUT still feels like a snug clog, lacing is too wide, doesn't close over the tongue which limits the user adaptability of lacing, - good shoe for hard flat surfaces, but also looks a bit clunky with the wide gap between sides of the upper, (doesn't close over the tongue).

I bought the Austin shoes. This was my second choice. I wanted the Austin boots, a pair of which I have almost worn out. I ended up with a pair of Durango boots, to meet my needs, but really miss the Austins. I have worn Keen shoes and boots for somewhere around 20 years and they are the best. Of those, the Austin boots were the best.

My new Austins are great! Feel a bit roomier than my old pair. Good support, but Im kinda missing the old black insole style with a little more arch support. Either way, these are great shoes especially if youre on your feet all day like I am.

These shoes are long lasting. This is my third pair in this line. The shoes become comfortable after a break-in. The long tongue at first presses some into your foot and needs softened. A break-in period is okay because of the durability and comfort. The shoes earn five-stars and as does Keen customer service.

I have been a keen customer for years, both their hiking lines and uneeks are awesome, durable and hold up extremely well. This is my first experience with their "casual business shoe" which I have found to be extremely disappointing. I have had the shoes for ~6 months now, I live in Washington State which means I walk though light rain or small puddles on sidewalks 7 months of the year and these shoes let water in through the bottom of the shoes like crazy! If I walk over a sidewalk which is wet my socks will be wet in the next 3-5 minutes which is awful! I know they aren't waterproof but I shouldn't be getting water in through the bottom of the shoes! I know Keen can do better but the soles of these shoes are terrible! Besides that the craftsmanship and comfort of the shoes are good, but I have to buy another shoe because I can't deal with the wet socks anymore. Please do better Keen! I WANT to like your products!

The shoes are way too stiif, besides the tongue is to long and stiff that hurts the instep of the foot; same with the heel pul tab, is way too stiff and hurts the upper heel. I like the style and design, but is extremely painful to use them, I really miss my Porthsmouth II, those were absolutely comfortable.

The top two grommets on each shoe were not attached properly and had separated. I brought them to a shoe repair shop, and had them fixed. Other than that, they're great!

These are my second or third pair since I started buying Keens. I bought them because the other Keens (slip-on) I have are good for when it rains but these are lighter.

Im 70 and the Austin shoe series are the only lace up shoes I can wear comfortably. I have owned 3 pair and wore them out, and have 2 newer pairs I now use. I also wear the sandals during summer.

I am a finicky shoe buyer. I do not like my feet to ache, even for fashion, and I have had a horrible time purchasing shoes that "will break in". These shoe fit from the minute you put them on until it is time to send them to the "away place". The first pair lasted many years and this pair went on a five mile walk straight out of the box. I also enjoy the look, not too tactical or too professor. Keen will always be my first choice in shoes.

These are really nice shoes, but they were too small. My toes rubbed against the end of the shoe. I liked the style and color, but had to return them. All the reviews say this runs small, but I wear 12 and think 13 would have been too large.

As other reviewers point out, it also has a stiff tongue that rubbed on my ankle as well as other stiff parts around the ankle in the back. I had to return them.

This was my fifth pair of Austins if you include two pairs of canvas style. They are simply the only shoes I can wear. Always comfortable, they virtually walk themselves. Please dont ever stop making them. Id need a wheelchair. Do you make any other styles with the same bed? Of course I would need wides to make up for the generous toe box on the Austins. And I must mention the veterans discount which allows this creaky old vet to get multiple pairs of my absolute favorite shoes. Hope I didnt get too mushy. Thanks.
