Love the shoe and order filling part of this. When I received the shoes, one shoe had a too short lace that did not match the other. I asked for a replacement of the laces and included a picture with the request. Instead of simply doing that the resolution department decided to make me ship mine back and wait for another pair. I spent $5 for a pair of laces instead because I did not want to go through all that. That created trouble for me and extra costs for them. Not good for either of us. That is why I have heard sales resolution departments refered to as sales destruction departments. Sad.

Great shoes.

This is my third pair of Keens. All have been of similar design. All around because I wear the Keens to walk our area trails, and with a quick clean up or polish, I can wear them in a casual social setting. I have one small issue that I would think Keen should correct. Go on line to order, and a $10 discount is offered if you sign onto email messaging. Keens marketing department overwhelms customers with emails. Its not like you buy new shoes six or seven times a week. AndI never received the discount.

Although the shoe is very comfortable, it has a harder sole than I expected when compared to hiking shoe that I already have. Nice shoe though.

Wide enough for toe space, a good comfortable sole, and they look nice. I bought a half size larger than I normally would, but I used a soft measuring tape and matched my foot size to the Keen sizing chart and it fit perfectly. They run true to the sizing chart.

This is my third pair of Austins in about five years. These are a little narrower in the toe box than the previous pairs, which is too bad because I bought them specifically for the wide toe box. The laces are ridiculously short. Seriously, about a foot shorter than the previous ones. Almost useless. The shoes may be a little smaller overall as well. Although all three pair were 10.5 M, this pair gave me a blister bad enough that I havent been able to wear them for a week. That did not happen before. If they fit better after breaking in, I might consider getting another pair. Otherwise itll be time to move on.

This Keen model is the best ever! I have purchased two pairs for my son and four pairs for myself! It is a versatile shoe with class and style along with comfort.

Shoelaces too short

The brown leather shoes I ordered are constructed well, but they are full of white spots along the toe and sides. It's as if the leather dyeing process was performed in a sloppy manner with droplets scattered across the shoe. In addition, the front brown part of the shoe has retreated from the black rubber tip leaving a bright white line across the front. I have treated all the lines with leather conditioner and that helped a bit, but the blemishes are still noticeable. I have purchased this shoe model a few times from REI and they never looked this bad.

I walk my dogs every morning 4 miles and through grassy fields and trails. Morning dew and fresh cut grass are the norm. These shoes while being so comfortable keep my feet dry and warm. They have a wide toe box but narrow heel to prevent slipping! I purchased an 11.5 and the fit was perfect and my normal width is E. They have a firm instep and protect your feet from rocks and branches! They also provide great traction! I will buy again!

Good casual shoe that you can take a bit of a hike in. My foot is a little narrow across the middle and these could be narrower there, but I can still lace them to a decent snug fit. All and all just what I needed.

Love to support the PNW companies. Shoe is sturdy like a hiker but looks great casually. These will be great for play, casual social, and traveling.
