Great Shoe - This is yet another great shoe from Propet. The velcro is wonderful for those with arthritic hands or anyone who suffers from edema and foot injuries. It gives great support all the way around and the innersole is very comfortable.

the box was too tight orders wide I need a 2ee but you don't have goes 3EEE wide makes the heel too wide I like to exchange for. NB .hook & loop # 577 bone size 12 2EE

Fit was generally good, although a little tight in the toes and loose in the heel, although that is understandable as this is designed as a shoe into which one can put ankle orthotics. I use sole orthotics, and it worked well for those. My only issue was that I could not adjust the tightness and shape through the use of laces -- obviously I need to get a lace up.

This shoe has a solid sole and is quite sturdy. It is well suited for walking on surfaces that are not extremely harsh or rugged.

Walking shoe review - I was totally satisfied with the walking shoe. It is very comfortable and light as a feather. I'm considering the same shoe in black for the winter.

Walking Shoe - Ordered this walking shoe for my husband to replase a pair of the same shoes. He really liked the shoe and since I have had good luck with shoes from Zappo's, I ordered them. Zappo's free shipping is a big plus. In addition with the regular free shipping these Propet walking shoes arrived the next day.

Nice for an old man - I like the shoe, it is comfortable, but the look and the material looks cheap. But Zappos' sevice is the best in the world.

Ordered for my father who normally wears a wide in New Balance or other brand sneakers/shoes. I ordered the same size in the wide and extra wide - both were too narrow for his foot. Going back to New Balance.

I bought these for my husband, who wears an AFO (Ankle-Foot Orthotic) splint. I couldn't locate the New Balance shoe he was previously wearing, so, after reading the description, thought these might work for him. Unfortunately, even buying a slightly wider shoe, and removing an insole, did not help. He was unable to get the AFO and his foot in the shoe. We had to send them back.

My husband is not diabetic. These were the only sturdy shoes with velcro bands that I could find for him when he was recovering from hip surgery and starting to walk with his walker outside instead of being transported in a wheel chair. The only time he wear shoes in the house is when he's on his way out the door or has just returned from being outside. He only goes out once a week or less, so the shoes don't get much wear. The shoes fit my husband and his needs beautifully, but after six months of light wear they're looking seedy and seem to be decomposing. The uppers look mushy and dull. The soles seem to have softened so he leaves tracks and streaks on the hardwood and tile floors. Efforts to clean up the streaks with various floor cleaners spread the black residue all over the place. Before the hip surgery, his shoes were leather dress shoes and sneakers. We haven't encountered similar problems with shoes before.

Shoes made in China extremely small. Normally take a 10.5. Tried an 11.0 W. Entirely too small. Sent back and got an 11.5 that fit. Chinese sizes not true to US.

I am a little more than disappointed in this shoe. It seems to throw you of balance where other shoes I have purchased gives you a more secure footing. Pehapse in time I will get use to them but after 4 weeks not much improvement. I never had this problem with New Balance Walkers.

Very disappointed with this shoe. My husband could not even get it over his leg brace! He currently wears New Balance 11 1/2 3EEE and this Propet shoe was so much smaller that.

I love the shoes but wider then wide because I wear a food brace on my left foot

Ordered a Propet Ultra Strap in 12/3E; the shoe fits my husband a little smug. He is being fitted for a "drop foot" brace and thought it might make sense to have a larger size to accommodate the brace. Unfortunately Zappos only had a 14 stand width in stock. Ordered this shoe in a size larger. The shoe seems to be smaller and narrower than the Ultra Strap. have to send back because he cannot wear them without the brace, much less with the brace. Propet are great shoes in general. Lots of support, and love the availability of wider sizes. Good shoe, just not right for my husband.

I am trying to find shoes that work with my foot brace. I love the shoes but they don’t work with the brace, too small in the arch/ankle area as the brace is larger in that area.

These were for disabled person replacing the same shoes he had.

The shoes fit well and are vert comfortable. The sole is wide which give good stability on uneven surfaces. This is the third pair of this model shoe and are my favorite.

These shoes are just what I needed. Very comfortsble.

I have ordered this exact same shoe for several years. I'm very happy with all aspects of the shoe. An added bonus was 2-day shipping. Very pleased!

My husband has problem with his feet due to diabetes and the Propet Life Walker with strap closure is a great shoe for him, easy to put on & take off. They are somewhat heavy, but a great support shoe.

Very comfortable.
