This is a great pair of shoes! It is a nice combination between sandal/shoe, which is great for our tropical weather here on the islands. I am able to slip it on my son w/o any fuss and he just adores them. Thank Zappos for consistently going beyond the call in customer service. The shoes are great especially here in Hawaii with room to breathe and just enough support. Wonderful shoes for toddlers who run everywhere.

Great shoe - ran a half size small -
My little guy is used to wearing Stride-Rite brand mostly, so compared to those, the shoe ran a half size small. I preferred the moon rock color, but they were out of his size :-) but my son LOVES these and they are really easy for him to get on and off - he is almost 2 1/2. Very durable and are just like a sneaker/sandal. A little pricey, but they will last him all fall and part of winter since we are in NC.

Ordered my son's "normal" size, but was much too big. Called Zappos and they sent a smaller size out that same day!! My 5 year old loves the sandal/tennis shoe combo and the grey/blue is nice and actually goes with a lot.

My 7 year old thinks he is so cool in these shoes. He loves them. They keep his feet cool and comfortable. He is one fussy kid, so if he likes em, they're great.

Perfect sneaker-sandal hybrid!
I got these shoes for my 8-year-old son, he absolutely loves them! They're very easy to put on and take off, and though not really sneakers he can do all his "sneaker"-activities (run, jump, climb) with them. And yet now in the summer he gets all the benefits (light, airy) of a sandal. Really glad I got them, and according to my son, they look very cool, too.

My 6yr old loves these shoes!
My 6 year old son picked these out himself (instead of the Keens I was suggesting). Not only are they almost indestructible, he can quickly pull them off and on by himself. They did not rub blisters, either. We highly recommend these and are considering purchasing in another color.

This was my first experience ordering shoes through Zappos.com and I loved it. Very easy, very fast, and friendly emails letting me know things were being handled properly. The view options on the website were very helpful. I ordered these shoes for my two boys to give them something that they could "run" in and feel comfortable throughout the hot summer months. They love them! Teva has made a great product, the look, the sturdiness, and of course the slip- on ease (can be tightened with the Velcro strap but my 7 yr. doesn't bother). My 3 year old also likes the "hands" logo because he knows which shoe goes on which foot(hands on the outside)...this can be a little perk when leaving to go somewhere and he wants to put on his own shoes - one less thing I need to for the kids before leaving.

This is a really great, durable shoe which I would highly recommend. My son destroys shoes very easily and so far these shoes are as nice as the day they arrived. They clean up well and he really likes them.

Excellent sandal!!!
Great comfort & a cool look. As usual, with "TEVA" shoes. They look so cute, my almost-3 years old loves them from the very 1st. wear. Soft upper, but still holds the foot so well. I wish they made them in a lot more colors.

These sandals were purchased for my five-year-old to replace the Teva Toachi from last year. Unlike the adult Dozer, these don’t seem to have the cinch-up option. They have the string for it - it just doesn’t do anything - just for looks. For kids with narrow feet, it would have been nice had they included the cinch option. Overall it’s a good shoe - nice foot protection. In my kids’ shoes, the critical elements are toe coverage to protect from stubbing, quick drying and easy to clean, and being open enough to wiggle out pebbles from under the foot. This sandal fits all the elements. Plus, it’s enclosed enough to look nice and wear in town, not just in the creek. Now, let’s just see if they hold up!

Great shoe, but heel blisters -
Got these for my camper who needed closed-toe water shoes to be wet in all day. These shoes look terrific, and my son has worn them comfortably for partial days when they are dry. But he gets horrible blisters on the heels when worn wet. The heel portion comes up rather high, and seems to curve inward at the top, making for an ouchy situation, especially when wet. Too bad -- $ down the drain.

Easy Fit -
Both of my sons have wide feet that don't fit into a lot of slip on shoes. With the velcro strap, these shoes go on their feet easily and fit comfortably. The closed toe design is great for playing on the playground without scraped toes and let them be ready for the spontaneous soccer game with the comfort of a sandal.

These shoes looked perfect! Great tread, breathability and a sole that wouldn't get smelly. Unfortunately, the sturdy construction of the heel tore up my son's ankle and he couldn't wear them anymore. I totally have buyer's remorse.

These sandals are really cute, durable, and a great fit... HOWEVER, not good for toddlers. I bought these for my very independent 3 year old and the tab of the sandal does not connect to the velcro so he had great difficulty getting them on and off. He wore them about 2 weeks and I called Zappos to inquire about it and another customer had the same issue. Zappos returned them without hesitation and even helped me pick a new pair... that are slip-ons. Never hesitate to express concerns with Zappos... customer service is outstanding. Thanks for the great service!

STINKY FEET!
I loved these sandals for my son when we first bought them from the store. They looked, fit and felt great on him. He loved them too... until about a week later when his feet started to stink in them! I think this is the case for any enclosed sandal. He started to get so upset not understanding why his feet were so stinky. I bought these for the extra support for my son to run around in, but i'm going back to the Psyclone next summer.

Rugged and cool, but wear socks the first time...
Got these for our 4-yr old so he could run around in Mexico with support and still be cool in a sandal. The first day he wore them (running around for only about 30 minutes) he got a huge blister on his ankle so we couldn't put them back on for days. So maybe wear socks the first few times to break them in?

My son really likes these shoes; they are easy to get on and are comfortable. The shoes are a great transition shoe from the summer sandal to the cold weather shoe; he just adds a pair of socks when it starts to get cold.

The shoes fit great and are great for my kid except for one big problem. The velcro is peeling off the straps. Clearly there are quality control problems with this product because I have read another review stating the same problem. I have had to return the shoes--thank you Zappos customer service. Basically, great shoe and sandal design, but poorly built.

I was very excited about getting this shoe, as I love my own Dozers. They are nice looking and flexible. But the fit seems oddly snug -- even though my 3-year old son wears the Teva Psyclone a whole size smaller (size 9). I got the size 10 Dozers and while it looked like he had enough room, in fact his big toe was brushing the top. And he complained that they were uncomfortable after about an hour and had marks all over his feet. So maybe a half size bigger would work, but I can't believe that he'd have to go for a size 11. I wish Teva would get its sizes straight! Unfortunately I wrote his name in them and had him walk outside in them, so I can't return them. He has pretty much refused to wear them so we are relying on the Psyclones, which he loves (I just wanted to give him something with a bit more toe protection).
