My dad has very hard to fit flat feet. He has a wide front and very narrow heel. When we started a search for shoes to fit his feet, I had no idea how hard it would be. After many tries and many failures, I thought I would look online and see if anything looked like it may be worth the try. I ordered the Hush Puppies Gus. My dad is thrilled! These were the lightest and most comfortable shoes that I ever had. The shoes do wear faster than I prefer, but that is probably because of the lightweight sole. I wear mine daily and they lasted about 6 months (I do alot of walking). Overall I recommend this shoe.

So soft!
These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought them at the mall, I'm usually an 11 but on these I was a 10.5, so take that into consideration. These look good, feel good and are really durable. They are so light and soft it's amazing. When you first try them you can't believe how soft and light they are, almost no weight to your feet and your feet will never hurt when you get home from a hard day's of work. My dad loves Hush Puppies, and I think I know why now.

Great Shoes.
Working in Japan, I do a lot of walking to and from train stations. Each morning I walk almost a mile to the nearest station as part of my morning commute and make the return walk in the evening.
I bought a pair of ZeroG's yesterday and am totally amazed. This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. Totally amazing.

Overall pretty good -
They do feel a little larger than marked, but it is in a 15 size though. Very good cushioning but a little hard on the front where the ankle meets the tongue. It can tend to dig in. That may be the effect of it being too big though. I'll stick by them because once they're fully broken in, they will fit really nice. I haven't had them long enough to see the long term durability around the office. So far, so good.

Almost right.
I have been wearing SAS shoes for many years but they have jumped way up in price, so I tried these at half the price. They are almost the same, but not quite as nice. They are lighter in weight though, so I like that. I wish Zappos would carry SAS.

Overall, the Gus Hushpuppy is excellent. In looks, I would prefer the shoe to be less bulky, the toe a little less blunt. The laces tend to loosen after a short while, perhaps due to the newness.
Comfort is superior, almost weightless. Great fit. I have noticed the feet tend to remain dry all day long.
I am very pleased with this purchase.

About 5 years ago I was told about the comfort of Hush Puppies. I went to price them and said "No way am I going to spend that money on work shoes!" At work I am always on my feet on a concrete floor. After eight hours my feet were killing me, so I bought a pair of the Bounce, wore them one day and got home and threw all of my tennis shoes away!
One day I was going to get a new pair and they were out of my size so I was going to order them. The salesman asked if I have tried the Zero Gravity, and of course I said no I want my Bounce. Well, I tried them and was sold! In my opion they are the most confortable shoe I have ever worn! I wear them at work everyday and my feet never hurt anymore. Thanks Hush Puppies!

I looked forward to receiving my first pair of Hush Puppies. When I tried the shoes on I felt the tongue and topline digging into the skin on the front of my foot. It appeared as though the opening of the shoe simply wasn't large enough for my particular foot dimensions. If not for this frustrating fact I would have kept the shoes as they are very lightweight and stylish.

I suppose these Gus model is OK if you have VERY FAT feet, because the size medium are quite wide and are quite high in the area above the front of the shoe, i.e., above the toes. If you have normal feet, your feet will be sliding around inside these big, unattractive, boot-like, work shoe-like shoes. Another thing I don't like is that the tongue of the shoes and the rear wall (heel) of the shoes are way too high, which is uncumfortable when walking. I will be returning these shoes for these reasons. The soles are comfortable and the shoes are flexible and are nice and light. Hush Puppies makes good,comfortable shoes, except for this particular model.
