It was a little stiff to start with, but after a few days of wearing I found this shoe very comfortable and something I could wear all day long. And that's saying something considering I have plantar fasciitis and a bunion.

Very Nice Shoe - I am usually a Nike girl all the way, but I wanted to try something different. So I went with the NB W8505 and absolutely love them! I got the blue and silver ones and they look great. I've had Nike Shox and I think that these are just as, if not more, comfortable.

Good Looking Shoe - Great shoe...good looking and felt great!

All 'Zip'ped up and Gone! I looked for this model of New Balance in several sporting goods stores and they either did not have them or only had a limited selection of men’s styles and sizes, and Zappos price was less expensive. These NB Zips (W8505) are great! I ordered the orange for my kid’s school colors; they come in three other color combos. I got them in less than a week and they are so comfortable; I’m very happy with this purchase. The net material over the top of the shoe allows your foot to move freely but not be sloppy, the sole is made for shock absorption and works well, and the lacing is not restrictive. Very comfortable insole and heel. I would recommend this style to most anyone. If you have worn NB before, order the size you usually get, I have not found NB to be different in size compared to most other brands of athletic shoes as well.

This shoe is tight!!!! I love this shoe!!! It fits just right, it’s comfortable and the style is perfect. I get compliments every time I wear them. I plan to but them in the orange as well. I’m a dental tech and like for my shoe to match my scrubs. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks; and fast shipment too!!!

Awesome for work - I love New Balance shoes anyway, but this style rocks! I bought a pair for work (8 hours on my feet) & they were better than I could have hoped for, so I bought 2 more pairs in other colors so I could rotate pairs & coordinate with outfits. I highly recommend this shoe for daily wear or for exercise. I wish they'd make even more colors!

Great comfort - When I was in therapy after a broken ankle, my therapist recommended running shoes when I once again was walking. Someone had recommended new balance so that is what I went after. Extremely comfortable and secure. I am receiving a lot of comments from the people in physical therapy. Thank you.

Very comfortable, great look, great support - I ordered the NB Zip in hopes to use them for cross training. I really liked the look and figured if they didn't have a lot of lateral support and cushioning I'd wear them for a casual sneaker. This shoe is a great addition to the New Balance line...medium arch support, good stability in the heel, enough lateral support for aerobics, and a really great looking sneaker. I've used this shoe for step aerobics, kickboxing, weight training, and treadmill/elliptical work.

Nice shoe but it runs a bit small - I have ALWAYS been a 7.5 but for some reason, this shoe tends to run small (at least on me). What a disappointment because it is a very nice looking shoe and was otherwise comfortable.

GREAT SHOE - I really enjoy my New Balance W8505. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight. I wish I had these 23 years ago when I started running. I've had every style and brand that you can think of. This has been overall the BEST!! I will be wearing it this weekend to do a mini marathon (13.1 miles) in Calumet City, IL. Thanks for your prompt attention to my order. I will definitely be ordering from you again.

New Balance's W8505 - Very comfortable shoes, with good support and shock absorption for running.

Oh, yeah! Even if you don't really care for sneakers, you'll like this "athletic shoe". Its unique look and sinful comfort puts it in the winner's circle.

What a great shoe! I usually wear Nike's and Reebok's however I am a New Balance Convert! I have received so many compliments on this shoe from both kids and seniors. It is every stylish and by far one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

Love it! Love it! I got these 8505s in the blue/green color combo. They look cool and they are the best shoes I have for exercising and daily wear. These are much better than the Brooks and Mizuno’s that are gathering dust in my closet. I was having a lot of foot pain since I broke a bone in my foot last year, but never with these. New Balance says these are for runners with a neutral gait--I pronate, and I find that these are better than my more expensive shoes both because of the design of the sole, and also because of the design of the upper, which provides excellent ankle support. I ordered three additional pairs, and these are all I wear now.

New Balance - These are good sneakers that give support in the right places. The only flaw is, I think, that they could have more cushioning inside the sneaker.

A great running shoe! I really love the looks of this shoe. However, I was training for a half marathon in Nikes and than ordered these shoes. Two weeks before my race I started training with the New Balance. It was a little heavier than I expected. I ended up running with my Nikes. However, over time I'm sure I will get used to these New Balance. My sister wears hers and loves them!

New Balance W8505 review - It’s a comfortable shoe and I use it for exercise. It’s a good bargain since it’s hard to find a comfortable shoe in my size.

MaryNH - Good looking shoe. Fit well. Heel is a little stiff-not much cushion. Could use a little more softness after a 12 hour shift as a nurse.

I like the shoe. Just one problem......it is squeezing my big toes at the end of the shoe. Maybe not the right size in this particular shoe, although it would be the first time in many years where I didn't wear a 9.

A nice shoe - Thank you Zappos. I received this shoe, but sent it back. Using the reviews of other buyers, I ordered a full size up from my regular 7 1/2. The shoe might have worked, but after taking a few walks around the house I discovered that it rubbed my ankle bone. I didn't want to take a chance, so I returned it and ordered another shoe. Thanks to Zappos, I can always get the best look and fit for me.
