My husband loved the look of these and since his normal go to sneakers are always size 11M Adidas, we were really surprised to find these way too narrow and stiff. I am sure the stiffness would work out with wear, but the narrowness, and he does not have wide feet, was a real problem. These will go straight back. Bummer! These are definitely not the typical fit.

Classic Style; Classic Shoe - Nice looking shoe with an understated, retro style however the fit is also somewhat retro. Not a lot of cushioning nor give on the sides. If you are looking for active footwear probably not your shoe. But, if you just want to chill and look good doing it...

They mark! I bought them as a court shoe but they mark. I guess why they work as a tennis shoe is because they mark green on green. But they destroy squash courts.

Light & Springy - Very lightweight, but surprisingly good cushioning. Fit is a little odd, however. Narrow up front, but a little wider than expected in the heel.

The shoe itself is great. I love it, in theory. I owned the navy ones, and they were great. Then, I purchased the green ones. I received them, and almost immediately the green started streaking onto the white part of the shoe. It was as if they painted the shoes and they never fully dried. I returned them, received another pair, and the same thing happened. I don't get it. From my experience, it is only the green version of this shoe. Take my advice, stay away from green. I love the shoe, so it is really a shame.

I used to wear this shoe back in the good old '80s. What a shock when I opened the box and put them on! They look and feel like they are made out of cheap plastic. The once canvas upper is now a weird nylon, and the sole is a slick plastic that slides all over any surface. In a word: cheap! I should have read the other reviews more carefully. So sad. They are being sent back.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes on the planet. The arch is perfect, if you don't like a flat shoe.

The best! These classic sneakers are so cute and so on point. They do get softer as you wear them. I love them and get compliments every time I have them on. So glad Adidas has not ruined a great old classic!

I ordered a men's 10 which is a lady's 9. They fit great. But I thought a little wide. I knew they were canvas and not leather, but trending right now. I will break in prior to really wearing. I love them for the sneaker and the price point.

Zappos provides a service that I rate as the very best. Prompt and efficient. I bought my first pair of Adidas Rod Laver sneakers back in 1978, not a day has gone by that I did not own a pair of these sneakers. They are comfortable, stylish and durable. I have used them, at one time or another, for handball, jogging and everyday use, not the same pair, of course, but, anywhere from 10 to 15 pairs in the past five decades. What more is there to say.

The women's 7.5 is huge. Runs very big. I will have to exchange for a mens 5.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are sturdy and super stylish. The only negative is that they are a bit heavy and take a bit to break in, but I love them.

These shoes are awesome. The odd part of this order was, in the left shoe, there was an "old" arch insert in the shoe, as if someone, wore them before. I removed the insert and the real adidas pad was then shown. ???

I purchased these for summer shoes to go with blue jeans. They are very comfortable and look great. The back is a bit low which was rough on my heel for a few days, compared to the other shoes that I wear. They are inexpensive, yet still squishy enough to not be poorly made shoes. I am impressed with these shoes.

Great shoes, originally ordered size 11 - they were a bit large - Zappos sent me 10-1/2's while I was sending back the 11's. 10-1/2's fit perfect. Great shoes and great service.

I am normally a 7.5 or 8. Depending on the shoe. I ordered the 8, and sent them back for the 7.5 Love this shoe for running errands, and taking my son to and from activities. It's lightweight and stylish. I have worn these shoes since I was in junior high. Timeless classic.

I love the look of these old school kicks! Can't wait to wear them with rolled up boyfriend jeans and sporty dresses! I'm a size 8 in women's shoes and I was unsure which size to purchase. I purchased a men's 7 and 6.5. The 6.5 fit perfectly! As always, Zappos is the best. Ordered them yesterday afternoon and had them by 10am this morning!

I just bought these shoes from Zappos. I didn't realize Adidas still made them. I owned a pair in 1990 that I wore on a 6-month-trip through Europe and loved them. Comfortable, stylish and easy to clean with the mesh. Fit is true to size and I have a wide foot. It's a Great shoe!

I found men's/women's equivalents to be way off. I wear an 8.5 women's, but the men's 7.5 were a full size too big for me.

I love these tennis shoes. I'm strictly using them as casual wear and they are comfy & look great. None marring sole so I can wear them on my boat too! Mesh material on the uppers allows air circulation, my feet stay nice and cool. I recommend them for casual, not sure I will use them to play tennis in; there are lighter shoes out there. Overall a 5 star for casual wear though.

If you bought your last pair of Rod Lavers prior to early 2014, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the changes. This model has definitely been updated with a rubber formula on the soles that's heavier, more durable, and much less slippery than the last version (which felt and looked cheap compared to the original version before it). The green color is noticeably different too not quite as dark. But the biggest change is the sizing. In my experience, these run about a half size larger now. I've always worn 10.5 in Rod Lavers, Stan Smiths and just about every other Adidas sold in the US. But I was swimming in the 10.5's. So I ordered another 10.5 and a 10 just to be certain, and the 10's fit me much better. Thanks Zappos, for continuing to offer the coolest kicks of all time.

Love my new Rod Laver's! Sizes run big...had to return for a 1 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear. Zappos is easier to make returns than any "walk in" store!
