The Original Tennis Shoe-
My grandpa and my dad were both tennis players and I remember them both wearing these tennis shoes when I was a kid. Now my little brother is on his HS tennis team, and when we saw that they started making the Rod Laver tennis shoe again, we had to get it for him. He loved it SOOO much that he wants another pair, and so did both my dad and my grandpa! I hope they don't discontinue it again!!

sweet hacky sac shoe -
This shoe is the sweetest shoe for hacky sac. It's comfortable and it is flat on all sides, very light.

Rod laver -
The rod laver is an all around great shoe. The shoe is very light and breaths well. The only problems I have ever had with the Rod Laver tennis shoe is its lack of arch support in the sole, but this problem can be fixed by replacing the already existing insole with a better quality insole.

Mike's musings -
Have been wearing this shoe for more than twenty years. Looks much better than did earlier. Used to wear a 10 1/2, but sizes have gotten a little tight and now at a 12.

Nothing Beats A Classic -
It's getting harder & harder to find a decent looking pair of sneakers nowadays. Something without all that fancy air cusioning/shock absorption or crazy colors. You know, a pair of sneakers with good old fashion laces as opposed to elastic closures or zippers. You'll also see a lot of new sneakers styled like sneakers from 20 or 30 years ago [like the Reebok G-Unit & S. Carter which my sneakers have been mistaken for buy some of my younger family members]. So I figured why get a remake when the original got the job done. Hence I have just received my second pair of Rod Laver Adidas, the first being bought over a year ago [black/white preforated leather]. I was actually looking for a pair exactly like the 1st but came across these & figured what the hell. They are just as comfortable as the original & it looks like with the canvas like upper it may fair better than the leather pair I have [which is still going strong btw as my daily walker]. All in all a great shoe that I'm seriously considering buying a second pair of just to keep for when the first ones get worn out.

Love the shoes. Love the colors. Comfortable for going out, but I wouldn't wear them all day every day. My only disappointment is that the suede on the toes gets very dirty very quickly. These must be worn with extreme care and cleaned regularly. I would have preferred a more easily cleanable material.

Nicely made sneaker, a plain shoe but it works. The fit real well and a pretty comfortable. The one thing wrong with them is that the laces are entirely to short, I can't even tie a proper set of rabbit ears with them--I can only tie off one ear!(loop)

Look great, but odd arch support. The insole is flat and squishy, and the arch is just a small, hard, high bump that feels all wrong. The insoles are not removable, so the problem can't be fixed with a better insole, either. Returned!

Good looking shoes. Considerably tighter than expected. I typically wear 13 or sometimes 14 depending on the brand. I was thrilled to see they had 13.5 which I thought would be perfect. Instead the are really tight/narrow. Soles are thin so don't expect to be too active but I think this is expected for casual/retro sneakers.

I've worn 4 pairs of these tennis shoes. I love the retro look. I bought my first pair in the early eighties and thought they had been discontinued. I wear them to work (I'm a recreation supervisor) and also for casual. I think they are sharp looking and very comfortable.

Not quite what I expected in this shoe. It kind of pinches my toes a bit, so I will probably return them for something else. Insofar as customer service is concerned, Zappos is head and shoulders above every other online company. Fast delivery, Prompt, quality responses to customer questions and needs, and a huge variety of goods from which to choose. This company is solid gold in my mind.

I usually wear a 13. I had to go up to a 14 for these. The shoes are pretty narrow and long in the toes. Overall still pretty satisfied. I ahve been wearing them all summer.

Will be returning these... made a mistake with the size. My entire family wears these - children and adults. Great old school sneaks. With Rod Laver's, all Parents can look hip when out and about with the youngsters too!!!

Style over Comfort -
The shoe is great overall. The shoe looks amazing! Better than the pictures! However there is a tradeoff for comfort. The soles are just fine, but the roof or ceiling of the shoe hurts in the toe area. It seems that top of the shoe gives a little discomfort to my pinky toe. If you don't have to wear the shoe long periods at a time, say an 8 hour shift at work, and then you'll be fine.

Summer stylin -
I loved the leather black and white Rod lavers, maybe my favorite shoes of all time. So it wouldn’t be fair to compare the two since these were canvas. But very nice for the season, fit true to size.

Until the shoe is broken in, the area where the shoelaces and tongue meet rub and constrict me feet. This is my third pair of Rod Lavers and the others did the same thing. They are now broken in and doing great!

LB Evans Slippers -
A comfortable slipper which seemed a bit small at first. However, it has stretched out a bit and is now a good fit. I think it is a good value slipper for the money.

These rub my pinky toes even through socks. They are terribly uncomfortable, not to mention ugly. The nylon material that they are made out of is just weird.

They feel fairly cheap and will take some time to break in, due to their flexible plastic soles. The other downside of the plastic sole is that they have bad traction and slide quite easily. I wouldn't recommend them for actual tennis play unless you want to break an ankle. I would recommend them for moon walking contests. Still, fairly comfortable shoes and they look stylish from afar. Have received a few compliments on them, only a few days after purchasing.
