One-third of my shoe-drobe. I love these shoes. I'm on my third pair of Rod Lavers. I alternate between the navy and the green so I don't get bored. They're super comfortable, look good with just about everything, and last awhile. I wish I knew how to clean them better -- they get grungy after a few months in the city. I tend to sideswipe one shoe with the other one when I walk, and the colored toe rubber scuffs the white rubber around the base of the opposite shoe. I don't care, I still love 'em. Side note -- Believe the hype: Zappos has the best all around service of any online retailer I've ever used. They're superb.

The Great Fly ROD LAVERS - The best buy I've made in along time. I wear my Rods with everything. I have all the styles that appear on this site. I have no complaints, they fit just the way they should, fly as can be. They also look good with fat laces. I recommend spraying them with a little scotch guard. For those hard to clean places.

Amazing - I absolutely LOVE these shoes! They are amazing in every way possible.

My 50th pair of Rod Lavers - I go through a pair about every 6-8 months. I bought some from you guys about a year ago and will probably buy some more in May. The last pair were some special editions with orange around the back of the shoe. I liked those. Any time you get new variations on the Lavers, let me know. You are an easy company to deal with and I plan on using you often. My wife turned me to you, FYI.

Classic Style; Classic Shoe - Nice looking shoe with an understated, retro style however the fit is also somewhat retro. Not a lot of cushioning nor give on the sides. If you are looking for active footwear probably not your shoe. But, if you just want to chill and look good doing it...

Style over Comfort - The shoe is great overall. The shoe looks amazing! Better than the pictures! However there is a tradeoff for comfort. The soles are just fine, but the roof or ceiling of the shoe hurts in the toe area. It seems that top of the shoe gives a little discomfort to my pinky toe. If you don't have to wear the shoe long periods at a time, say an 8 hour shift at work, and then you'll be fine.

They mark! I bought them as a court shoe but they mark. I guess why they work as a tennis shoe is because they mark green on green. But they destroy squash courts.

Great comfort and excellent look for the price.

Rod Laver - Sizing and shoe are perfect except the green sole leaves green marks on other parts of the sparkling white shoes when only marginally grazed. I don't know if this is because it was in storage for too long but is a tad annoying. Other than that, a great shoe.

Good Summertime shoe - I have been wearing these classic Rod Laver shoes for over 3 years now. It is a great overall shoe for the summertime.

Classic - Extremely comfortable, classic, stylish shoes that draw a lot of attention. Highly recommended!

Elegant casual - May be the perfect summer tennis shoe. Goes great with shorts, jeans, even khakis. A simple, classic look that newer styles are trying to emulate. Not to mention how dang comfortable they are! Super soft foot bed and light as a feather, you'll want to wear them everywhere.

All mine - Whatever you do don't buy these, they are all mine. I swear, they do not have the softest soles I’ve ever felt, and they do not look super sweet with jeans, stay away!!!!!!

Rod Laver - Look & fit great. No break in time. Used to wear them in the 80's, still great.

Paint chipped - I loved these shoes when I fist got them, but after awhile, I noticed the paint started to chip off, and that doesn’t look very good. But other then that, these were cute and comfortable, and I put them in the washing machine when they got dirty!

Clean and green - I recently received 3 new pairs of shoes, and I must say...these are pretty nasty ...comfortable, slick, wish you carried different colored laces though...I’ve been on the hunt for green laces to put on these bad boys as an accent. Thanks...D

RL's Dominate - The Adidas Rod Laver is matchless. It is the best shoe mankind has ever created or ever will create. It may in fact be the best creation of all human art.

I have somewhat wide feet, but I bought this shoe because another reviewer claimed that it fit a wide foot. The shoe was long enough, but it was tight on the sides. If it was any thinner, it would be an ice-skate. I recommend looking at the POV of the shoes sole; you will really see how narrow these shoes are.

When I received the shoe there was a scuff mark on the toe in green. However, overall the product was good.

Summer stylin - I loved the leather black and white Rod lavers, maybe my favorite shoes of all time. So it wouldn’t be fair to compare the two since these were canvas. But very nice for the season, fit true to size.

I love these shoes! I work on my feet in a retail store and these shoes are great for standing long hours!

Until the shoe is broken in, the area where the shoelaces and tongue meet rub and constrict me feet. This is my third pair of Rod Lavers and the others did the same thing. They are now broken in and doing great!

Very comfortable and nice looking shoe. I'm very pleased.

Awesome shoe - Awesome shoe, 3rd pair I have bought. They are great for foot bag, but are marking and get dirty quickly- as with all white shoes

Awesome retro - The perfect shoes when you wear casual pants, jeans or shorts. Nothing compares, maybe other Adidas retro tennis, but the color combination of these shoes are awesome.
