Zappos is the best! I just wanted to send my outmost appreciation to Zappos and their excellent customer service. I actually ordered my Adidas Rod Laver's from another site and I was quoted a date of when my shipment would come in and it ended up not coming in until 2 weeks later. So I ordered my shoes on Zappos and told the customer service rep and she was great! Very helpful and she really worked with me. I ended up getting my shoes the next day with the free overnight shipping. I'm very happy with the shoes and very happy that I was able to use Zappos.com; I definitely will use you again and definitely spread the word about your site.

A Classic - From first glance of the Rod Lavers I was hooked. Yeah, there are some really cool, modern styled, sneakers out there, but this is a classic look that I'm into. It could be due to that I'm considered a classic myself or maybe that its style hearkens back to the sneakers when I was growing up. Who knows? Past that, it's very comfortable and light for getting around the court. Though, I’m not as quick as I used to be and it takes me longer to get to those wide shots, it’s not the fault of the Rod Lavers. It’s the fact that I’m pushing 45 and up until I started playing tennis again, the only physical thing I did was push a mouse around on my computer. Getting back to the style thing, when I wear my Rod Lavers to the office the “young kids” think they are “groovy”. “Groovy”, now there’s a word you don’t hear much anymore.

Great casual shoe! It is really too bad that Adidas stopped making these (they aren't even on the Adidas website) because they are comfy, preppy, and hold up very well. Get your hands on them before they are gone forever! (I have 3 pairs already).

Rod Lavers - This was the first pair of Adidas that I have bought that were uncomfortable. The shoes took about a week to break in and left my feet in a lot of pain after the first couple of days. They are very narrow and even loosening the laces didn't help. The shoes feel great now, but they are hard to keep clean because of the fabric that is used.

Footbag - These shoes are amazing for footbag. If you’re into doing some advanced tricks or just having a chill hacky sack game with some buds, then this is the must have shoe.

Nice shoes - These shoes are an ace everytime. I love them. I also thought they were much more comfortable than I had read on the other reviews.

Old-School Style--But Old-School Cushioning, Too - I'm very pleased overall with these shoes. However, it's worth noting that their authentic old-school styling extends to the cushioning, too. I find these rather stiff in the sole, and not very cushy.

Cool sneaks - Very cool looking; pretty comfortable, but not as much support as "modern" sneaks. These ran 1/2 too big--usually an 11 in Adidas, but took a 10 1/2 in these--but Zappos was great about the return.

Got my vote!! Several years ago I "found" Rod Lavers. I have narrow feet with a high arch. I went back to wearing a "tennis shoe." There is NOTHING like a Rod Laver!! The comfort and fit are exceptional. And when I wear a pair out and need new ones, I go to Zappos first!! Incredible for all day standing.

The "Old Skool" look that never looks old... Although I'm not much of a tennis player, these shoes go great w/ any pair of jeans and t-shirt combo! Not too flashy like some other "retro" shoes, these are the real thing...

Most favorite shoe ever!! I love these shoes. Always have. I had a pair for about 5 years when I was in college. Glad I found them on Zappos.

Best "Tennis" shoe ever? The Rod Laver "tennis" shoe is the best casual wearing shoe ever! This shoe goes with everything, jeans, khakis, shorts whatever casual dress you’re going with. I will purchase 1 or 2 pairs every year. Thanks Zappos for continuing to carry the Rod Laver classic "tennis" shoe.

Comfortable and Cute!! This shoe is everything that I thought a pair of Adidas would be; comfortable, affordable and cute. I wear this shoe to work and I'm on my feet all day, and this shoe keeps up with me and I love it!!

True Tennis Shoe - Would recommend. Looks good with shorts or jeans, even could pull off with khakis. Very versatile, very classic. Just great all around tennis shoe.

I love My Rod Lavers' I have worn Adidas for many years and have been looking for my style of shoe. The "Rod Lavers" are just my style, very, very comfortable and good looking. My son has now purchased a pair also. Thanks you Zappos for having these shoes. Les S

Classics - I've always loved these, but they don't make them in a 15, so I tried a 14 anyway. They took awhile to stretch out, but now they're fairly comfortable. Great Shoes.

Cute, lightweight, comfortable shoes. No arch support whatsoever, but I love the classic green.

Good shoe

These are an updated yet traditional version of the original. It fits well, is very comfortable, just needs a bit of wearing in. I recommend stain guarding them or they won't be white for long!

These Adidas are true to size. Look awesome with shorts or jeans. They are a dress shoe more than a sports sneaker. Inner sole is very hard so you can walk around in them for a better part of the day but not every day.

Great shoes and lightning quick delivery. However the rubber soles of the shoes are a bit thick and heavy, more than I would have expected. Not a dealbreaker.

Simple yet stylish old school tennis shoes. I was looking for a shoe that was good for travel but could be used for an occasional tennis game. These fit the bill. Okay fit and comfort.

Took a while to get comfortable and I had to buy additional supportive insole. Fine for tennis now. Heel looks like it may wear through soon.
