Does the job - I have special needs feet due to disability and chronic swelling. These fit perfectly and are easy to get on and off. My new faves!

These shoes have worked just fine. I had a stroke and needed velcro fastenings. I am a little disappointed in the length of the top strap. It does not close on the velcro without being pulled too tight. I also had to put safety pins on the strap ends to keep from pulling the straps through the openings as I cannot re-feed the straps through the openings once they have pulled through. They are an acceptable weight with a good sole height.

A little too wide - The look is great and the shoes are comfortable. The only problem I had (and I never thought I'd say this) is that they're a little too wide! I got the extra extra wide and while they're comfortable, they really are too wide unless I wear thicker socks with them. The next pair I buy won't be as wide, but I will buy another pair, especially from Zappos. The price, the quality and the shipping can't be beaten and I have looked!

A pleased customer - Since I was having difficulties with width and sizes, I decided to take a half size larger than I normally wear and extra wide width. I was pleased that this shoe does offer the comfort I was looking for.

Propet Tour Walker - After trying a few other pairs of Propet, and returning them due to discomfort...thanks to Zappos' great return policy, I tried these. I have MS and am now wearing orthotics and getting a new AFO. I wear a medium normally, but had to buy a 4X to accommodate everything. I have trouble getting my right knee to bend sometimes and to get my foot in the car either driving or riding can be quite difficult and the fact that this shoe is so much bigger than I am accustomed to wearing makes it difficult. It is easy to get on, but so stiff in the toes. I am probably not the best person to review this shoe because I bought them for a purpose. There was no break-in period as I only wear my shoes when I go out and they hold up in the snow. I don't walk a lot as it is too difficult, but these are okay. I am retired, but still do some work as an attorney and I just can't wear these to court...in white...and I just put on my Birkenstock Footprints Chesterfield, which are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. These shoes are comfortable, but since my walking is limited, I cannot comment on the comfort if you are walking or standing a great deal of the time.

Shoe Rater - Very comfortable right out of the box.

If only they came in 5E! This is a lovely shoe, and the first shoe I've found in many years that's almost wide enough. I'm very frustrated that shoes aren't made wider for people like me, and my next move will have to be to custom-made shoes. I can get some exercise in these shoes without being completely crippled, (and for that I'm quite grateful) but they're still a little too narrow to be really comfortable.

Quick Change Artist - I was specifically looking for Velcro shoes to quickly change into for workouts. This was my first experience ordering shoes online without trying them on first. The shoe seems pretty true to size and width. At first, they were a bit stiff, but now that I've worn them eight times, they are feeling fine. They meet my needs and I was most impressed with the fast delivery by Zappos.com! The ordering and delivery process alone is worth ordering more shoes.

easy on, easy off, great for the airport - The shoe was great for travelling, easy on and easy off for security clearance at the airport. Love the velcro closures.

Propet's Tour Walker Velcro Shoe - I love these shoes, but the only thing is that the velcro straps were shorter than my last pair. This is the second pair I've bought and they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn for walking. And I loved the fact that I ordered them and had them here within two days. -Thanks, Zappos!

The shoe was very stiff out of the box but I wasn't able to wear them to break them in.

These are ugly old lady shoes but I was searching Zappos for rocker bottom shoes and these showed up in the search. Due to my foot issues I need the balls of my feet raised. The picture looks right. The fit is good but they sure aren't rocker bottom, just about as flat as the floor so I am returning them. Still love Zappos!

I ordered a size 8 1/2 women’s with width 2EE and found they were too small both in length and in width. The Velcro straps were too short too. But the good news is I gave them to my husband. I chose size 8 1/2 2EE because that’s what I have in the Pedwalker 6 and those fit just fine. I love Zappos’ great service and vast assortment of shoes. I am a loyal customer and will buy nowhere else but at Zappos. I have hard to fit feet and would buy a larger size and wider width for myself, but the Velcro probably wouldn’t be any longer.

My husband is Diabetic, and these Propet shoes are supposed to be very good for people that have diabetes, his size is a 9-9½M, we order a 9½W and the shoes are so short and narrow his orthic would not fit and his toes were pushing on the end of the shoe.

I have neuropathy in both feet because of diabetes. I bought these shoes thinking they would be comfortable enough to allow me to walk the three miles a day my job requires. It however was not. The soles inserts were thin, so I bought new thicker ones to go in them. After wearing them for a week or so, I had to finally give up on them. I could feel several lumps in the souls of these shoes, even through the new insoles. I would not recomend them to anyone that has diabetic neuropathy.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! :( From reading the reviews, especially from those with foot issues...swelling, surgeries and other issues, I thought that this shoe would actually be wider than most and accommodate my mothers feet but unfortunately, this shoe was just like a regular size and NOT a 10EE. I compared these side by side to other shoes she has and these were much narrower than other 10EE shoes she has. I'm not sure what's going on with the other reviews when people are saying so many positive things about these shoes fitting people with foot issues...I just can't believe that. Although relative, the truth is clear and obvious when my mother cant even get her foot in the shoes to begin with! My sister has the same size foot but is a "10 Wide" not a 10EE and these Propets weren't even to fit on my sisters feet. I can't tell you how disappointing it is when you read so many positive reviews and think that you may have found a great shoe that would finally fit correctly! I'm not a big believer in reviews, but seeing so many others with similar foot issues, one would think that these shoes would set themselves apart from most of the other....NOT TRUE! At least in my case. This just goes to show you that you can't go by reviews not matter how many positives you read because like many things, opinions, like shoes, like feet...are relative. I'm not saying that these shoes won't work for those of you reading this, but what I am saying is you have to try them and see for yourself, NOT go by reviews. I guess I will start searching for an other birthday gift! :(

These are definitely not appropriate if you over-pronate. I felt as if I were going to "fall off" these shoes.

These were ordered for my 87-year old mom. She must have white leather and Velcro closures. And her size, 11 wide, is hard to find. These shoes are not my cup of tea but Mom liked them and felt secure walking in them. That’s all that really matters.

Not the sexiest shoes, but they are comfortable and well made. I’m an old lady with swollen feet and these are my go to winter shoes.

Beautiful shoes, but one uncomfortable spot in left shoe causes me to return them

These shoes are perfect for elderly individuals with mobility issues. The velcro is very helpful, and the shoes fit wonderfully. I highly recommend them.

Perfect fit. Really good for walking.

Too small

These fit great they’re wide enough and roomy enough at the toe box area so my hammer toe doesn’t get crammed in. On my Left foot the big toe has a ridge of bone at its base that has grown onto the top of that area and most sneakers the area where the laces begin puts a lot of pressure there making most sneakers uncomfortable to wear but these Propet sneakers are great! Plant of space for that as well. I can’t reach very well to tie sneakers so the Velcro straps are a plus.

Everything was as expected for a Propet shoe as all the others have been. Don't really like the look of the white sole but then I only bought them to work outside in my gardens as I needed a full shoe after broken ankle.
