Vans Prison Issue shoes - I was surprised to find people liked this shoe so much. I bought a pair several months ago, tried them on and the metal eyelets dug into my feet when I would walk. Luckily since they hurt both my feet so bad and didn't walk outside in them I was able to sell them on eBay and get the money I paid for them back. I don't recommend these shoes at all. Love Vans but these were the worst shoes ever.

Wow! Wow! I was a bit weary on buying size 9, because a lot of reviews said they run small, but the size 9 fit perfectly! These sneakers are *awesome* and they will look great with anything! I literally ordered these last night and got them this morning, using the 4-5 day shipping! Haha! I'm totally recommending these sneakers and Zappos to everyone!

Comfy and stylish! I've lived in Chucks (Converse Hi-Tops) for the last 10 years or so, but I needed something easier to get on and off as I'm taking a trip with multiple flight hops (which means multiple trips through security). I've never been comfortable with slip-ons as they always feel as if they are going to fall off! These are great - they feel secure, have better arch support than my Chucks, and the velcro makes them easy to get on and off. They look cool as well. Add to that the fact that I ordered them at 5:19pm on a Thursday, chose free shipping, and they were delivered at 10:39am the next morning! I'm a very happy camper!

Wore thru the first pair - These shoes are great - comfy & easy. This was my replacement pair.

Well worth the wait!! I love these shoes. They are adorable and go with everything. Skirts, jeans... doesn't matter. They look great on men & women. They can be cute or tough, sporty or casual. Whatever you're going for. I cherished mine forever and they always made me feel so good... but then I wore them to work and eventually totally ruined them with bleach and beer (I'm a bartender). Phooey! My next gift to myself will be another pair, absolutely.

Good shoes - I usually buy the skater shoes but this was my 1st pair like these. I’m glad I didn’t go with the Chuck Taylors. The shoes do run a half size big. They are comfortable but have a VERY little amount of arch support, still comfy though. Great shoe would recommend to any one.

Lots of compliments... Everyone likes my velcro shoes! No joke, they fit great and look neat and easy to throw on. Much better quality than the Chuck Taylors I used to buy.

The shoe as a whole is excellent. Everything that I have come to expect from Vans and Zappos has been delivered. Thanks for making shoe shopping so easy.

Cool Shoe - Shoe looks cool but isn't that comfortable for walking. I wore them in NYC and ended up buying a new pair of Vans the next day. Very little heel cushioning. Great shoe for short distances/club shoe but not an all day walk around shoe.

Happy Camper - Very pleased with the shoes, they are comfortable and are the perfect fit. Vans sizing is consistent so you can't go wrong. Looks great, received many compliments. We have a limited supply on Maui, so it is great to be able to go online and order without paying shipping costs. They got here in a week, well worth the wait. Thanks!

My son's new favorite! I got my 11 year old the helix skull print for his birthday and he loves them and the kids at school said they were "tight" - points for mom!!

I LOVE THIS SHOE! Love, love LOVE this shoe! It's got that old-school Adidas feel (with the three hook-and-loop adjustment strips) and is probably the most comfortable sneakers I own! I can't wait to get more designs!

I don't choose them to walk the dogs in, but they're comfy enough for an easy day.

Fantastic - I love my shoes. I even have a checker board book bag to match. Everyone at school has been complimenting me on them. Not too many people have them, so it’s like I feel original! They’re very comfortable. Nice look of course. I give these shoes an A++!

Cute! This pair of shoes is really adorable... I love the true white version, though I see A LOT of people with the black ones. The velcro design is convenient and brings back memories of the old days (of elementary school!), but unfortunately it takes some time to break them in & I can't walk around the whole day in them. Otherwise, awesome and I LOVE THEM!

Love 'em - I get complimented on them all the time. They're generally comfortable and I do a lot of walking in them and my feet are fine afterwards. Really great for the price.

Great Choice! I was looking for new Vans and found these shoes. I got the black and white ones, they are very classic looking and stylish at the same time. They are very comfortable even though they have less side padding than the Vans’ skate shoes I also own; I’m very glad I ordered the smaller size they fit perfectly!

Awesome - These shoes are so cute and really comfortable. The straps make this shoe stand out and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. I usually wear slip-ons, but when I saw these I had to have them. I definitely recommend these, you won't be disappointed. Comfortable AND stylish!

Sweet shoes - I just got my brand new Vans Prison issue yesterday. I got them in black and white. I was thinking that they almost look like Converse. At first I didn’t wear them out because I was not sure about people making fun of me about not being able to tie my own shoes. But I got over it and I wear them all the time. Also I was unsure because they said that they were made for prisoners. But I got them anyway. I extremely like the velcro let you take them on and off easily.

Look great & comfortable too! I bought these for my son - we had actually been to a shoe store where he tried shoes on ($55), we brought them home & he never wore them because they were uncomfortable - he says in retrospect. Going by looks alone and the ease of the velcro, we bought these and yeah! He loves them.

Strange color - This is a great shoe. I purchased this for my boyfriend and he loves them so much, I decided to stockpile some for him. It could just be me, but the Tibetan red looks more maroon than red. I should have known, though. The shoe wears out pretty fast, but its priced low enough to replace often.

Special Print Prison Sneaks - I am addicted to these Prison sneaks anyway, and always look for different patterns. I love the grey plaid ones, the only complaint I have is that it took months for them to be stocked in my size, but once I got them, they were excellent.
