Nice shoes - They are nice shoes. I bought the brown/blue pair. They look just like in the pictures. They are similar to other Vans slip-ons, which offer no arch support, but I find them comfortable. They are a bit on the narrow side, but not so much to be a problem. I'm a Zappos repeat-buyer because of their prices and excellent service.

Old meets new with this cool shoe - You have the classic 50's look with the ease of modern Velcro closure. They look good and you don't even have to know how to tie a pair of shoes.

Very unique shoe - I got the orange pair. The orange in the picture makes it look like a neon orange color, but it's more like a tangerine orange color... but they're still eye-catching nonetheless. Be mindful to not pull the top velcro strap as tight as you normally would on a pair of shoes (well, I haven't worn a pair of velcro shoes since I was a teen, so I may just be misjudging)... the metal inlet that the top strap goes through had a tendency to become uncomfortable after wearing them all day, but it's much better if you leave it looser. Regardless, there isn't anything out there quite like these!

Cute kicks - I bought the purple ones, and have received many compliments and "where did you get those?" Here is a word of advice, but a half size smaller than you usually wear, they stretch. And they are perfect.

Prison Issue #23 - This is HOT! You will for sure be in style. very comfy

I have wider feet than average and the straps on these shoes don't cover the velcro completely. I knew going into this that Vans run narrow. Overall, they're super cute. If they were just a bit wider, they'd be super comfy too.

I would definitely recommend them. I can wear them all day, and if they had more colors I would buy them again. The only downside is that the velcro is loud.

I love the shoes, they are a little uncomfortable at first, very firm, but once you wear them in, they are awesome!

Cute, sturdy everyday shoe - I am a female with a regular sized foot so the shoe is a little wide for me at the front and toe. I know this is a unisex shoe so I supposed this is expected. This shoe looks good with jeans and skirts in a casual setting. As a cyclist this is very convenient when I have to go from directly from my grubby day job to an art opening.

Pretty awesome! I've been a Vans lover since I was really young & I absolutely love these! They fit great but will take a little adjusting because skate style Vans are def. more comfortable... These are so cute! & they fit me perfect! It's weird because I ordered a men’s 6 in these & a men’s 6 in the Converse OX Simple Detail & those were a half size too big. But anyway, these shoes are awesome & I def. recommend!

Vans prison issue #23 CAMO BABY!!!! VERY coolio shoes, they look kinda cheap but this is my first pair of vans so I don’t have anything to compare it to. The shoes are narrow but I have narrow feet, so its O-K. The shade of them are dark, but its nice. They are true to size, they fit perfectly actually. Nobody at my school have them, and I will DEF-IT-NET-LY be rockin' these TO-morrow.

Vans Prison Issue - Great pair of shoes, very nice look. I bought them for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them.

Decent Shoe - The Shoe looks great, but support and comfort are just moderate. If you’re trying to be fashionable then this is a great shoe for you, but if you’re looking for something you can walk around in stay away.

Cool looking shoe and easy to take on and off. I love the color; it looks more cranberry than true red, and I've gotten tons of compliments on them.

Interesting Version for a Classic - Got my Prison Issue Vans in Green Turtle Skull camo. They look better in person than they do on pictures and I have gotten many complements on these. Definitely a cooler alternative to the classic Converse Chuck Taylors. I do think these felt narrower than other Vans I have in the same size, like the Old Skool or Slip-Ons. I any case, I would buy again, and they're a perfect complement to my black and pewter Old Skools and my red and black checkerboard slip-ons. Prison Issue - best way to feel like a convict without committing a crime.

Vans my main man... I like the way these look. I must say, the slip ons are a better design, and I ended up just setting the velcro loose, so I can take them on and off without opening them. My right foot was a bit sore on top of my big toe... hoping they will break in. Left fits perfect!

Great fit, thanks to the hook and loop straps - I was looking for some comfy slip-ons, and all of them were too wide for my feet. Thanks to the hook and loop closures, these fit great!

Looks great but feels terrible for the first few days - I love how this pair of Vans looks and it's a nice change from the slip-ons everyone seems to have nowadays. I'd have to say that around the first two weeks of wearing this shoe, my feet have been in pain. The first day I wore this, I had blisters where my heel was for both of my feet. It took a while to get used to it but when I eventually broke them in, it felt a lot better.

Classic look, slightly awkward feeling - I'm a big fan of classic sneakers. Pro Keds, Converse, old school Adidas. I used to wear Vans back in high school and sort of rejoiced, rediscovering them here. Like Chuck Taylors, these are basically canvas and a rubber sole. There's not much support comfort wise, and I was surprised that the shoe felt a little large and I'm a 13!

Sign of the times... Shoes are just cut with the minimal amount of fabric...they need to be cut to surround the foot better instead of shortchanging the amount of fabric...then they would fit better and feel better...I like the style and look, but they feel like they could be bigger on my foot, not just in the numbered size but the overall feel...thanx, Ron G

They look better than they feel. I purchased these shoes for my son so I will tell you what he told me. He said that the shoe is giving him a blister by his little toe and it is bothering him. He also said that his shoes make a farting noise when he walks and his friends at school laugh when he walks. He does like the way they look though. I think they are cute too and wanted to by some until he told me about the blister.

Nice but need to work out the kinks - Design of shoe has a problem -- tongue of shoe bunches up so that you have a scrunched up part of tongue near bottom Velcro strap which also makes shoe slightly uncomfortable. Hope they resolve this because Vans are usually most comfortable shoes.

Great looking shoe, but they last about 3 weeks and then disintegrate.
