What happened? Vans? Are you trying to save money by giving us less shoe? I just ordered a new pair. You can see the picture that I took comparing it to my old pair.m. I was so perplexed. I couldn't understand why I felt like there was "less shoe" around my heel. My foot felt exposed. I compared them to my old pair. Then took a picture. Look at how much lower the back of the shoe rise is. This is not the same shoe that has become an iconic favorite. So disappointed. Will not be returning.

Bought a pair of customs , and a pair of regular slip-ons . They fit horribly from the one I bought 4 years ago ! won't wear because of the horrible fit . It sad because I wore vans for almost 35 years without any fit issues . Thanx for nothing!

I have only worn these once since I bought them because as I was looking at them, they look like two different shoes. The placement of the stripe is different on each shoe as well as the checkers. This has never happened with the 4 other checkered vans I have bought.

I've been wearing vans all my life and skated in them from 11-24 years old. I no longer skate so vans would last a couple years for me. However, I have been wearing these Slip-ons for just under a month and a half, and wore them 5 times a week. Within the first month, my toes went through the tops of both shoes. That alone wasn't going to make me write a bad review because I like my vans to have character so i just added shoe goo and made a toe cap but then a few days later, the palm of the soles popped on both shoes. So now it's a headache to even wear them at all because every step I take there's a super annoying "stick-POP". So I no longer can stand to wear these. I'm just disappointed that the Vans I used to skate hard everyday would outlive these shoes that were worn casually for literally a couple weeks. My weight is 160lbs and it was the same when I skated. I really hope these are a bad lemon and Vans aren't like this now

Totally kills your feet! Couldn't return bcuz i wore them! I am so bummed bcuz I have purchased 3 times before. So sad!!

I've been buying these for years same size and make. The lip on the heel is now higher which digs into the heel causing blisters etc. These things usually resolve themselves after a bit of grit getting used to it. But, it's still frustrating. What was the reason for this change???

Very disappointed on the materials quality. I recently bought my son his first pair of vans and he loved them so much he wore them every single day. Him being a 8 year old, those shoes won't last clean, so after a couple weeks I decided to wash them like I usually wash our shoes. Well you're not gonna believe, that the edges of the shoes opened up and rubber chipped off! Soo much money on a pair of shoes that can't even be washed to reuse! I don't think I'll buy them again!

I literally just bought these for my son and they are already tearing some by the sole of the shoe. They just keep going up too . It's absolutely ridiculous to by a pair of shoes and a week later be coming apart . I have always been a vans person but might half to change

I was super excited to receive these only to find that they are not the color that was pictured online. They are mauve, not tan.

i was so excited when i ordered them and when they arrived i was so excited to wear them. I bought the normal size i usually get. As soon as i got these i put them on. I walked around in my house and they really hurt my feet. I tried to keep them on but it hurt too bad. i went to a local place and tried some vans on,the exact size that i ordered and they fit perfectly. the only reason i did not get them there is because they didnt have any more black in my size. i am actually disappointed that they did not fit .i dont know if i will by from here again. i should have known better than to order shoes online.

I've purchased several pairs of Vans over the years and not once did I have to return them!!!! I recently purchased two pairs and had to return both of them Manufacturing issues If they were manufactured in the USA instead of China the consumer would not be having these problems!!!!

Shoes fit too small. All my vans shoes are size 9 but these did not fit me.

I LOVEEE Vans and I have wore this brand for several years. However, they have recently added leather where your heels are which causes them to rub your heels raw. I have broken these shoes in but it is still uncomfortable to wear them because of the leather. Please go back to the cloth, thankssss :)

I waited months to buy these and I finally did I September for my wedding. The seams have now fully came apart. There is a hole on top. Never again.

Gave them up my 14 year old for Christmas and today is Jan 7th and the soles Came right off of thrm

I bought a pair not even 4 months ago, already ripped and got holes just from walking. Only get the skate version if you want them to last

Shoes arrived bad condition. Inside part was coming out. The shoes in the pst hve been wonderful but the quality of this new pair seems to be very low even my material Standard. Very weird.

I ordered 2 pairs. The first was TINY. The second came stained. Unable to return or exchange because I purchased with apple pay.

Shoes are much lighter in the pictures posted online. In person they are almost a purple color.
