Absolutely love the shoes - but the instep is too tight. I could barely get my feet into them. The length & width are fine - but just too tight on my instep and heel. Hoping they stretch a little over time.

I absolutely love these shoes. I would wear them 24/7.... however, they run about a 1/2 size smaller than all my other Vans. I don’t know what happened. Wore them in Vegas and I have black toenails/bloody blisters. Super bummed. My other Vans are perfect walking shoes.

Cute for everyday wear, although I did remove the elastic pieces to accommodate my high instep. Some if the interior stitching rubs on the top of my foot, so I probably would not buy another pair.

Color was great but it was big and heavy. Basically, your typical Vans shoes.

I recently had my feet measured for a pair of running shoes, and was told I was exactly a size 9. In spite of that, in recent years, I've had to order shoes that have been reviewed as fitting too big. A half size up, is almost always too big. I was hoping, that being a uni-sex shoe, it would be a little more generous in sizing.. They were so small and tight, I couldn't even get them on my feet!

The shoe was way too narrow and very hard to get on. Not good for wide feet. Too bad because the shoe is a great color/design. It was the black and grey checkerboard

These shoes are cute and I really wanted to like them, but I struggled to get them on. Mind you, my feet are not wide. Once on, my heels slipped a bit. And unfortunately they made my feet appear shapeless, flat, and unnaturally long.

Ordered these for my hubs. They look so classic and cool. I wish they had worked out, but after wearing around the house he said they were too narrow and tight across he feet. Oh well! Thanks for your easy returns, Zappos!

Great shoe! Classic but runs small.

Concerned about the amount of hair (looks like dog or cat) on the shoes I received. I normally expect none.

Weirdest thing. Have owned and worn several pairs of Van’s Classic Slip-Ons over the years, but never have the elastic areas felt like sharp Velcro. I am putting off the hassle of returning (I like how they look and otherwise fit) by applying electrical tape over the sharp areas. It quite literally made scrapes/injuries on feet. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is this because of the particular material used on the black style? Like I said, very weird and a major flaw. Attaching photos for perspective, but the problem can’t really be seen because they’re black.

My shoe size is typically an 8.5 so I bought these in 8.5 as well, they are very narrow and there is no wiggle room in the size

Not good for narrow feet. Had to return.

Fit is good but no arch support for a days work. Wish I could use them.

I was so bummed when I put these on. I definitely ordered the wrong size. I ordered a 6 and I’m usually a 6.5 I don’t know what I was thinking!!

I was so disappointed in these. I have other styles of Vans and have been wanting the classic slip on for so long. But they were just too narrow - and I don’t have wide feet. They rubbed so badly on my little toes the first time wearing them that the skin rubbed right off. I couldn’t size up because then the toe box would be way to huge.

Too small. Not true to size. Bought these for my daughter. Ordered her size and they were too small she couldn’t even get her foot in the shoe.

These shoes are super cute, but the stitching on the top of the shoe feels like velcro rubbing against my skin. The size is pretty close to 8.5, but because it's sized for men, it's a bit larger. I'd love to keep them, but wearing them would be uncomfortable.

Why do the soles overlap at the heels? Is this normal or did I get a dud? Feel like they shouldn’t overlap this much (see pics).

Cute but too wide around the top of the foot. I got these for my daughter and she had to put in an insole to close up the gap.

Left shoe fit perfect, the right show had an issue, the inside of the arch where they sewed the elastic on the inside of the shoe wasn't flat like the left side, was uncomfortable and would have rubbed blisters until it eventually wore into place.

Stylish shoe but felt it ran small and had little support. Priced right but Vans isn’t the fit for me

i need more support than these offer for longer walks. they are great to wear if not walking far.

This shoe does not work for me. The toe box is shallow for my feet. It would cause pain on the first toe on each foot and eventually wear the fabric thin or through in this area.
