These Vans slip-ons ( especially in this colorway ) are true California native classics. Vans slip-ons come in full sizes and run true to size. If you have a chance to try them on first at your local store, my advice is to wear them with and without socks to see how they feel. But rest assured there is a comfortable firm fit and a little extra wiggle room for your toes and for thicker socks should you choose to wear them either or. This particular colorway of the shoe is more of an off white. You can guage the tint by comparing the true white in the midsole to upper canvas. Other than that the classic sole, fit and shape of the vans slip on is timeless and indicative of style, quality and comfort. Best part about the canvas slip-ons is that you can custom them with almost any type of medium, whether it be colored pencil, paint or even markers. In these shoes you can walk, run, skate etc and they will hold up perfectly. The soles dont really provide much arch support!

These shoes were terrific, they were delivered super fast (of course, it's Zappos) and they fit perfect. These were a gift for my daughter and I was able to put a little bling on them and they look super cool for her for Christmas. She loves them.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my niece. They fit her perfectly. And even though it is winter, she kept them on all day long Christmas! The other good part is that they were cheaper than on the Van website.

Comfy and versatile enough to be one of my favorite pairs of shoes. It can be worn with or without socks...great for on-the-go people.

I'm 60 years old and you'd think I was too old to be wearing Vans. Nope, I'm getting skinny and younger. I weigh the same I did 20 years ago when I was ranked 5th nationally in my age group competing in International Distance Triathlons (Tri-Fed) in 1987- 173 lbs. at 5'11" tall. My wife was wearing the black & white Classic Van slip-ons. She was cute, but I wore Asics running shoes and whatever flip-flops I could wear comfortably. In August on her birthday, in memory of her (she passed in 2005) I bought a pair of Vans slip-ons in SKU: #7213526 Color: (Ellen Plaid) Black size: Men's 10.5. They fit great except they were way too tight on my feet where the gore elastic is inflexible. I wore them with socks to break them in, and it made it even worse. No socks made it tolerable but still a bit too tight. The sole was plenty cushioned and comfy, there's ample room once you get 'em on but they're tight. The Patagonia Naked Maui is a great substitute for everyone like men. Just don't try to smoke them, they're made of Hemp.

Bought this pair of shoes for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loves them. They're a bit snug if worn with thick socks, but he wears them all the time now, loves the color, and says they are super comfortable.

Good ole comfortable classic. My thirteen year old goes through about 3 pair of slip in vans a school year. She wears them with everything!

Probably doesn't need another review, but I'll sum it up for those looking for something short. They run 1/2 size big, no arch, perfect for hanging out, but definitely not long walks. Great with or without socks. Very durable and totally timeless. I've owned at least 5 pairs since I was 14 (I'm 42 now).

Love these shoes; they are durable, will last forever, and who doesn't like a slip on?! Oh, and I saw Thurston Moore wearing them, so they are not just for prisoners - hahah! Rock these proud, no socks needed!

Best shoe ever. A timeless classic that could survive the apocalypse. Even when they get holes in them they still look beautiful and you can even draw and put your own designs on them. Most comfortable shoe ever made. If I could only wear one style of shoe for the rest of my life it would be this shoe.

This is the end-all-be-all of comfortable, easy to wear shoes. It's great being able to slip these shoes on and off without having to bend over and tie laces. All of this and they still look cool! Also, thanks for the great service Zappos! I won't buy my shoes anywhere else now.

Wear 9 1/2 wide. Their 10 reg works fine. Good looking/feeling shoe. Shoe is heavy, so if you're a closet ballerina this ain't for you!

AWESOME - Man, these shoes r great! I had a chance to get a pair a few years back but decided against it. But as the years passed, they grew on me and I had to get a pair, and I'm glad I did. These shoes rock!

I have been wearing these Vans for the last 10 years or more. Two of by pairs are really short one is a mismatched pair Until I found this site I thought I could never replace them. rangerrush

There were many comments that this shoe runs big and recommend ordering a half size down. So I ordered a 7 instead of a 7.5 and for me, they are simply not comfortable. Going with the 7.5 as usual.

I own a few pairs of vans in the same style, but for some reason these felt narrow than my other pairs. I do have wide feet, so I’m not disappointed in the fit I’m used to it, but I guess I figured they would fit like my other pairs do.

Untrue Fit - Street Shoe 13. But I needed a 14 in these Vans!

Nice shoes I have worn size 10 shoes, but the 9.5s I bought seemed too large. perhaps because there were no laces...anticipating this, order a half size down so your heel does not slip out the back. The material used feels very comfortable, but there is no arch support. Very stylin.

Falling apart - I bought these shoes to take on vacation. After 1 week of vacation, these shoes are falling apart. It is happing on the sides of these shoes where they bend when walking. I would have sent them back, but I threw out the box they came in with the free shipping. All in all, I’m not happy. So I will look elsewhere to get my shoes in the future.

You gotta be kidding - You cant be serious - I am at a loss for words, how dumb can shoes look? Well, red and white checkers are about as bad as it gets.
