Love these. I'm a big fan of Clark's desert boots and I feel like this is kinda the sneaker version of them. They are very stylish and comfortable. I'm very happy with them. And as usual Zappos provided THE BEST service when I originally picked a different pair of sneakers and had to return them. The top part that goes around your ankle could be a little softer and less stiff but I still love them.

These Chukka boots are badass! The feel great and look even better. You can't go wrong with a pair of these!

These are the best. I order a 1/2 size larger, but no need to. They give you plenty of room to wear the thickest of socks. They run on the wide side too.

If you're looking for a well made shoe that goes with just about any style outfit and will keep you comfortable in nearly any environment; look no further. Vans chukka boot core classics are the perfect all-around casual sneaker. The pair I just received (thanks to Zappos' super fast shipping) are just as well made as the pair I bought nearly ten years ago. Great for skating or general everyday use, but absolutely perfect with a small arch insert. Not sure what folks that claim they've fallen apart (or the guy that heard squeaks coming from his) are doing to their pair, but I've put these shoes to the test, and I reach for them time and again. Zappos had them cheaper than the Vans store, too!

Back in the day, 20 years ago, I had a pair if these same shoes, except they had 5 lace eyelets instead of just 4. I swear they fit and looked better with 5. Still an awesome shoe, works great for a casual dress shoe at work, I certainly am not as dorky looking in these as my coworkers in boat shoes and loafers and wingtips and pimpboots are. These are just a great looking, very comfortable and versatile shoe. You won't be disappointed with the full suede construction and classic waffle sole.

I ordered these on a Saturday afternoon & they were on my feet by Monday lunch time. Zappos gave me free 3-4 day business day shipping & I got them much earlier because they boxed them up so quickly! These shoes are very comfy & the ankle part is already soft enough that they're not making a ring around my ankle because of stiffness. The color is a light gray. I wish they made these gray ones with a black sole...but other than that I'm happy with the shoes & with Zappos. :)

The suede grips the board when you olly (which is a good thing). The sole is a soft rubber sole that gives great traction on the grip tape, and I've yet to get a heal bruise. Plus they look good with my tuxedo.

Ordered these shoes for my sons graduation pics. He didn't think he would like vans. He is conservative. He loved them and wears them all the time. Very comfortable.

These are comfortable, but minimal. They do not provide a lot of arch support and they feel more like slippers. What I like about these is that you can get away with wearing them at work (at least where I work) and they are more comfortable than dress shoes. They are not wingtips or anything, but they are certainly a step up from regular sneakers. As far as for skateboarding, you can really feel your board with these and they are very grippy. Of course, you can also feel the concrete - not a lot of support here. Their side wear out quickly.

Cute shoes, ran a little big, but like them enough to order a half size down.

I love Vans chukkas. They fit snugly and make walking and standing very comfortable. The one drawback, from my perspective, is the thin soles; I always add padded in-soles. Otherwise, they are perfect right out of the box.

I have been sporting vans for well over 15 years. They are very stylish but unfortunately for the price you get what you pay for. The gum around the sole is starting to let go where the shoe bends when you walk. The heel in the back typically will squeak and the fabric interior will tear after a couple months of regular wear.

This shoe is very basic and comfortable. I don't like to skate in them, because the soles do not absorb shock very well. For me it makes my heel hurt when I land hard on my feet. Sometimes the back of my feet get squeaky since this is all suede and no padding on the inside. I really like them for just moving around town or on a bike since everything that I don't like about them for heavy impacts makes them light-weight good for walking.

Sweet silhouette and sick looking shoes. BUT super narrow in the toes, if you have wide feet order at least 1 full size larger...

These are cute. I ordered my 'larger' Vans size and there was no room for a socks. It fit a half size small.

I bought this shoe to wear at a job that requires walking and moving quite a bit of furniture, and these seemed sturdy. I have scaring on my feet and toes, and the point where the stitching hits my smallest toe caused discomfort to the point of pain. I tried breaking them in a few hours at a time, but everytime my toe was raw in the end. Moleskin helped a bit but my toe would still be sore. It isn't a bad shoe and would have done the trick, but for me they will sit collecting dust in a closet.

Bought these because I really liked the style. However, I think they have a fairly poor design. No matter how tightly I tied the laces, my foot was basically free to move inside the shoe at will. I think this was because of where the tongue and lace eyelets are located, but based on all the other positive reviews, maybe it's just my feet.

Take a while to break in. They look cool, but like someone else who wrote a review, I have an issue with them making a squeaking noise when I walk sometimes. 6 months and they are still intact, but starting to show a lot of wear.

I so wanted these shoes to work for me! I loved these shoes back in high school. However, my feet have gotten wider in my old age. I tried to get both one and two sizes larger, but these are very, very narrow shoes. If you have elf feet...have at it!

I've been wearing Chukka Boots since middle school, which was 25 years ago FYI. Love them. I've had many pairs, always the suede ones, lots of different colors. But I have to say, the last two pairs I purchased have been WAY sub par construction. The seal between the suede and the rubber bottoms towards the front where the shoe flexes while walking (and skating) separates a little while after wearing them (maybe a week). I then have to shoe-goo the hell out of them. Very disappointed. They used to not do that.
