Hi 8`s still rule! Going to my 40th birthday, i just bought my 3th pair this year jus like i did 25 years ago! I still love the fit and the (now) retro look, and oh yes i am from the Netherlands

Long time wearer of vans. I like these hi's, just wish they came in more colors. The white is super white, construction feels very sturdy.

I love these sneakers. I get a lot of compliments on them. They’re comfortable so much that they’re my go to work shoe.

These are definitely my favorite shoes! I have wide feet and they are perfect for me. I normally wear a size 4 in other Vans but I needed a half size up. I still wear in 4 in the Vans classic canvas low tops, or to put in perspective a 3 in Converse. The soles get dirty quick- I use a 80% alcohol solution and they turn white again immediately.

Shoe looks great and goes with anything. Only thing is that the arch support isnt so great so walking far distances isnt all that fun. Overall, great shoe.

If your child has a wide foot and finds sneakers uncomfortable, this just might be for him. My son really likes his pair (and we tried a lot of different sneakers). We ordered one size up and they fit great. We are very happy with these sneakers and will definitely order Vans again.

Purchased shoes for son's birthday, transaction was seamless with fast S&H. He was thrilled to get these shoes, says they give great support and so comfortable to wear.

I looked back in my account history to see when I bought these shoes. You have to be kidding me, it was less than two months ago. I bought these shoes because they looked super slick and I like Vans (except that they're made overseas, but I thought I'd give them one last chance). Dude. I don't even skate. I wear these shoes at all times, and I think they might have been a size too small, but that doesn't excuse what happened. Within two months the soles have worn through, and the shoes fit weird because of some kind of sinkage in the rubber. I'm a big guy, I ordered 12's, but I think that this is ridiculous. I'm never buying Vans again.

These are perfect. Got them to replace an original set from 20 years ago. Check the size in a store first, as they seem to run small. I normally wear a 13, but the 14s fit perfect. Thanks Zappos!

I've been wearing this style since '96 and I love these shoes. Every time they wear out (which takes a while mind you), I just buy a new pair. They go with jeans and shorts and you can wear them year round. Great shoes.

Great shoe for any time of the year (especially spring)! They will wear quickly if frequently used for physical activities though. I highly recommend them. Zappos also shipped them very quickly.

These shoes are great. They break in fast and have amazing feel while still being true to comfort. They are great shies to skate in, they were the first skate shoe. That's gotta tell you something.

One night, I looked at my shoes and thought "Jeez, I need some new shoes." So at 2:30am, I bought some new shoes from Zappos. Two days later, at 4:00pm, I had new shoes at my front door stoop. It's like the New Shoes fairy gave me a visit and knew that I liked Vans. Also, the New Shoes Fairy knew that I didn't like spending an arm and a leg for great kicks that make me look sexy. Best suede sneakers - I got the black-on-black suede ones. They look great. Very comfortable. I used to buy Simple brand suede sneakers, but they don't make them anymore. These are a good substitute. The heel of these is a bit wide for me, but I have a narrow heel anyways.
