The shoe was just what the seller advertised. Reviews were a big help in the selection process. The size was true to what I already wear.

I've worn New Balance shoes for a long time. This pair did not disappointment. I was surprised how light they were in compared with the 900 series of walking shoes. The color disguises the "walking shoe" look pretty good. Very comfortable, little to no break in time.

This is a good mid-range walking shoe. It's light, has a good balance of ventilation and padding, and grips surfaces well. The rubber soles are my favorite features because they provide surefootedness on smooth floor surfaces like hardwood, vinyl, and tile. The only caveat is for people who need a lot of arch support, because this shoe doesn't have it. I don't really need a whole lot of arch support so the MW659 works well for me. I even bought a spare pair of MW659s because I liked them a lot.

These are good shoes! The size 10's (I usually wear size 10) I ordered were too long, so I returned them and ordered 1/2 size smaller. They fit like a glove. No break-in time needed. Comfortable from the start and good insole support (I wear support inserts). I also like the rugged tread.

My husband had been looking for a good pair of NB and he loves the feel of these, too soon to say they will hold up a long time but the body of the shoe has enough thickness to support and protect the heel and toes on the shoe. If you want support and comfort the inner sole is great and overall the shoe is just what he needed. Fingers crossed that they last a few years. Thanks Zappos!

This shoe is a great walker. I purchased this shoe for walking on concrete in a big box store setting. This shoe is great for walking on hard surfaces and breathable so your feet do not get as hot. I love the laces and the fit felt great. I will definitely purchase another pair in the near future.

Very happy with this shoe. Size and quality is as stated. Good support, although I use orthotics in every shoe. I walk a lot and the shoe is very comfortable. I would buy this shoe again.

They fit well and are very comfortable. They seem to be well constructed. They accommodate custom orthotics.

This is the second pair of New Balance like this that I've bought. 1st pair I wore to Greece, Italy, and Turkey on a cruise. This pair went to Venice, the Dolomites, Verona, and Florence, Italy. Bought each pair one week prior to the trip, bought size wide and replaced the insoles with gel insoles. Walked extensively without discomfort and rarely even got tired. Love Zappos.

I bought these for my husband, who is the hardest person to please when it comes to sneakers. But he likes these! He really likes these!

I like New Balance walking shoes especially the backless 801s and Zappos always has them. I usually wear white New Balances but I decided that I wanted something with color which, of course, Zappos had and within five days they were delivered and very comfortable.

Nice shoes. Not too heavy or clunky or goofy looking. Great for walking/hiking. I added Birkenstock arches for more support. 4e is nice and roomy.

Very comfortable shoe - I bought this shoe for my husband because he likes this particular style for the room it has in the toes. It is a very good shoe for walking and every day wear. We are great fans of the New Balance shoe.

Great Shoe - It's a great shoe. It has one minor problem, it doesn't breathe well. I like it enough that it's the 3rd pair I've purchased.

Hard to fit feet - Originally purchased this shoe in a New Balance store in the Midwest and loved it. Was unable to find the same style MW659 in local stores. I knew about Zappos from my wife shopping at Zappos so I figured let me try and see if Zappos had the one I wanted and sure enough they did. This is the second pair I bought from Zappos and will buy more.

Recent purchase - As always, I received exactly what I ordered. I will continue to purchase from Zappos.

First Order from Zappos - My first experience with Zappos was great. I ordered my shoes at 8:30P.M. and received them at 1:20A.M. the following day. Talk about fast service. My only problem was that when I tried on my shoes, which were a 4E Extra Wide, they seemed a little too wide. I called the company to ask about this. The lady was super nice and explained that I could send the shoes back and try a narrower shoe. All of my other New Balance shoes are also 4E's so I declined the offer. They were purchased at another store. I decided to keep my shoes after relacing them and walking around in them for awhile. I like the fact that I can look at all the shoes Zappos has available and look at all the different colors and views. I am hooked on Zappos.

Plain looking, but great - I own 8 pair of Keens. This shoe is true to fit and comfort for someone like me with wide feet. My only complaint would be that it's a little plain looking. White with a little bit of gray. Might be nicer with more color.

Comfortable Shoe, AMAZING Service From Zappos.com! Every time I order from Zappos, I'm amazed all over again at the incredible service. Honestly, I placed my order online at around 11:00pm and I actually had the box on my doorstep the following afternoon! Now, keep in mind, I'm in New York and I think Zappos is in Kentucky! If this is what you get with "Free Shipping", then sign me up for life! We just kept saying throughout the evening, "How do they DO it???" Anyway, back to the shoe... I ordered them for my 16-year-old son who has hard-to-fit feet (13EEEE). The first pair I ordered from Zappos (in a different style) ran a little too small for him, so I had to return them (very easily, I might add, with Zappos' postage-paid, 365-day return policy!). This style, however, fit my son's Sasquatch feet perfectly.

VERY, VERY COMFORTABLE - I bought them for my husband for his birthday (he, of course, picked them out) and he loves that they are so comfortable as he works long hours walking and standing. They are also very attractive. As always, your prompt delivery got them to me on time for his party. Your customer service cannot be matched!

Best Website for Shoe Orders! This is the second time we've ordered from Zappos and we messed up the order by requesting the incorrect size, but your customer service department was so efficient and quick to help us re-order the correct item, just excellent service all-around. Great Shoe for Fitness Walking - Kudos to New Balance for making such a shoe geared towards vigorous fitness walking. I love to Nordic Walk in these shoes. Prior to buying a pair, I was developing knee pain while walking. Since the first day of wearing these shoes, I've experienced no pain. They are very comfortable and allow exercising at peak efficiency. As for Zappos, why would anyone want to buy shoes from any other online vendor? The choices, prices and expedient service are second to none.
