Not consistent with other La Canadienne boots - I sized this 9.5 W against my own 9 M old La Canadienne (a different model) and this shoe was exactly the same length and a narrower width. I will try the even wider boot and am sending this back.

Very warm and comfy, but the soles squeaked when i walked in them!! No arch support (and i have a fallen arch, so i definitely need that). Plush fur lining would definitely keep your feet warm. The boot isn't as modern or fashion forward as i would have liked, so i am going to return these...

Lynn in Lewisville, NC - The shearling lining makes it difficult to wear socks. I normally wear a size 10 but in the La Canadienne's I wear a 10 1/2. Nice shoe to wear when it's raining.

I have wide feet and non-wide ankles and calves. My usual size is 8 or 8.5, W or WW, depending on the brand and style. However, like some of the other reviewers, I could barely zip these up! Extremely narrow shaft, to the point where they were cutting off circulation to my feet. They also didn't feel wide enough to me, even in WW.

They feel narrower than their true width because of the lining. I have wide feet and have the Passion in WW, which fits nicely. However, the WW in the Elena was too tight. Disappointed because they looked nice and would probably have kept my feet toasty in the cold.

These are lovely boots but this brand has changed. These are too narrow in the toe box and almost no arch support. If they were wider and orthotic friendly they would be wonderful. Or if they came in a wide width. I do have the Elizabeth boot from them and I'll keep that one since it came in W width and can accommodate orthotics if they are slim.

I must have enormously fat ankles. Never before have I had a problem with zipping up mid-calf/ankle boots, but here it is that reality. Totally horrible, as the foot bed feels amazing. Boo, I will have to send back.

Great boot but not for me - The boot was incredibly comfortable, fit snugly, the fur inside was heavenly...I wanted to love these boots but they just made me look dumpy. Maybe because I'm short, and they don't have much of a heel, they just were a little dumpy looking. (Maybe on someone taller) But if you're considering La Canadienne, everything they make is super comfy, warm, and waterproof. Definitely recommend.

Insanely narrow. I ordered the ww figuring I would like room for thick socks. Normally I am just a w and have bought this brand in the past in a w. This was a ww and I couldn’t zip it up. I am not fat. A size 6 usually in dresses. This is crazy. Was this an error?

Nice looking boots, but they were just way too small in all ways. I ordered my usual size (9WW) but the extra wide just wasn't very wide and my feet were really squeezed. And the shaft was way too narrow. I am a trim, fit woman, with average sized (nonmuscular) legs, but the shaft was so tight it was even hard to zip. Who are these designed for? Not me.
