The Dozer is a good sandal. I had a pair of these for over 2 years and they held up well. The only problem was the insoles .If you have a sweaty foot, especially the acidic kind, the insoles will break down and start to leave black marks on the skin. They also can get sticky, not to mention heel blisters. It is best to wear socks if you have this problem. I wear low cut gray socks that look well with these. Sandal socks makes wearing sandals way more comfortable and make the insoles last longer.

I used an earlier model of this sandals for an year and a half. Very pleased with value and comfort. It is built very sturdy, and does not rip, tear or chafe. Highly recommended!

My wife and I were vacationing at Crater Lake, when I noticed a man with cool sandals on. He was kind enough to tell me to go to Zappos online. The product arrived pronto. They look and feel good. Zappos' customer service really exceeded my expectations.

As a recent accident victim, one of my many issues now is that my hands cramp up. And much to my rescue, Zappos Teva Dozer has allowed me to put on my shoes with no problem! And as I was in a coma for 3 months, I'll take all the help I can get! Thanks Zappos!

This is my husband's 3rd pair of these shoes. He loves them. They do take a little breaking in, but much better than the previous Dozer from 2 years ago.

I purchased these for my boyfriend. He is an avid outdoorsman. He wears these for everyday wear around town. They look great and are perfect for our climate. It\'s still 98 degrees here in September!!!

An ideal shoe for kayaking/light hiking/camping. Much more secure and protective than a flipflop, but breathable and more comfortable than a shoe. Extremely versatile.

These shoes are great. They are the second pair I've owned. As a closed toe sandal they are very cool, but protect my toes while I work with our boat. I didn't like the bulky rubber look to the toes of other shoes. However, they do let rocks in sometimes like any sandal so I don't use them for hiking and such. They are great for the water, though, and after 4 years of heavy use I had to break down and buy another pair!

Awesome shoes. So comfortable. Great combination of shoes and sandals. Like them so much, I bought another pair in a different color. Great price as well. Highly recommend.

Bought these after seeing some very good reviews on the internet. I love the look and feel of these sandals. I think these are the best sandals I have ever owned. Feel very athletic. There is nothing to negative except that sometimes if I sweat a lot, my feet have a burning sensation. Don't know about everyone else; maybe its something that depends on the person.

I ordered these sandals to replace an old pair of open-toed sandals that had worn out. I have to say, I love the Dozers! They look great with shorts or jeans, the only time I don\'t wear them is when I put on dress shoes or work out in athletic shoes. Great all-around sandals, well-built and comfortable.

The Teva Dozer is a great product: comfortable, durable, attractive; a great compromise between sandals and athletic shoes. This is my second pair and I'm inclined to order a third pair to keep in "reserve."

Teva Dozers rock!!! There's simply no other way to put it. They are lightweight, very durable, waterproof, COMFORTABLE, easy to get on/take off, stylish--can't discount that ;), and reasonably priced. They can be adjusted to fit snug or loose, and are hardcore enough to use for approach climbing. Perhaps most importantly, they protect your toes (I only got poked once with a stick thru the gap), and they let your feet air out unlike the Dozer 2 model. I wore my last pair for 2 years on practically a daily basis before retiring them due to wear. In sum, they broke the mold with this sandal and I will stock up if they ever become scarce.

A wonderful shoe in every way! Totally comfortable from the first moment I put them on. Required no breaking in either. I think they are a little undersized, but was warned ahead of time, and got a half size larger. They fit perfectly. When walking through sand, it tends to get stuck between your feet and the sole, and it can be difficult to get the sand out, but what do you expect from an open soled shoe! The soles are also not very sturdy when walking on uneven surfaces, and care needs to be taken in that regard, but I don't consider that a weakness. I think your feet are secure and well protected when wearing these shoes. I just spent an entire week on vacation wearing them without a break, and my feet are as happy as they can be.

Felt a little snug out of the box, but broke in well in a day or two. I have wide feet and was afraid the width would be too narrow. However, they conformed to my feet very well. I use them for traveling; easy to remove at airports.
