These Ecco Yucatan sandals are the best sandals I have ever owned. I'm writing a review because I just ordered a pair. This is actually my second pair and I ordered them for backup just so I would be sure and have them when the first pair I got two years ago wear out--which could be awhile. The two year old ones still look great and wear great. They are comfortable and durable.

I take one size smaller in these: 12 in shoes, 11 in sandals. Still, the durability is unparalleled for a leather sandal-- snow, saltwater, freshwater, rocks, brush, sweat, shower at the end of the day, sometimes getting scrubbed in the sink--the sandals look like new after a year of that. The writing is worn off the sole, but that's about it. They might be starting to compact down a bit in the heel now, but only a bit. The leather is quite dark, so be aware of that if you order a pair.

I bought them in May and now barely 4 months later part of the in-step of the left shoe has become unglued. I have to re-cover that section before I wear the shoe and I am not happy about it. I wear them daily, although I have not run or hiked with them, so I do not know what could have caused it. Also, my previous Teva sandals were more comfortable; these sandals feel a little hard. I do not believe that they are worth the high price tag.

If you have a D width foot then Ecco is he way to go. I have more success with German and Scandinavian shoe products with my foot width and arch support need.

I purchased these for my 70 year old dad and he loved them from the moment he put them on. He said it gave him great support and does not even know he is wearing shoes. He said "they are heavenly." Purchased size 13, fit perfectly. I would definitely buy these again.

The most comfortable sports sandal ever - I have just completed an exhausting mission to find sandals that fit my wide weird feet. I’m a woman and wear a 10W, and probably returned 8 or 9 pairs to Zappos already that just weren't comfortable enough or versatile enough for my next trip to southeast Asia. Then I found these. From the moment I put them on, I knew they were it. They have a velvety-finished foam footbed with real shape and good arch support. And the neoprene lining cradles and supports my foot. Plus they're lightweight and ok in water or sudden downpours. My women's 10W foot, which is usually an 8 in men's sizes, fits the 42 perfectly. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing these shoes for a long long time.

These are the most comfortable shoes, no breaking in necessary. My husband and I both wear them.

This sandal is on the "high end" of sandals but, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for...excellent construction with good materials, very good arch support and the benefit of Zappos overnight shipping. Only one minus...over time, the shoe will absorb some of the natural perspiration from the feet resulting in "slight foot odor." Buy them, you will not be disappointed!

I just purchased these for my dad's birthday, he turned 70! We swept him away for a little getaway to Naples, FL. My dad loved these shoes from the moment he put them on. He said they were so light and comfortable. There was no "breaking in" required. I ordered him the size 13 and fit him perfect. Awesome and worth the money.

These are excellent sandals. I can walk all day in them with no problem. They are very nice looking and comfortable.

These shoes are better than advertised. I did research and read the reviews and I agree with most people here - these shoes are very comfortable. They are worth every penny.

Ecco Sandals Exceed My Wildest Expectations - I purchased Ecco Yucatan sandals from Zappos for my husband and son. Based on their raves, I decided to get some for myself...WOW! I have never experienced such comfort in a shoe of any kind. Zappos made the ordering process a great experience also. Thanx for everything!

Not as happy as my two previous ecco sandals over the years. I suppose style/physical changes are enviable for one reason or another, but on these new ones I have to always smooth out the inner parts of the strap...see pic. They should always lay flat.

I usually purchase mens Ecco Sandals due to my foot width. The Womens sizes are too narrow and I have found the mens sizes to be wider and fit better for my feet. I only wish there were more colors offered in the men's sizes.

This is the second pair of these sandals and I forgot about the quality of these. The first step was a reminder of why I like them so much ! Excellent sandal that you can leave the blacktop with !!

Started having severe heel problems...swelling and redness, so for the first time I went to wearing sandals. Through reading many views I settled on these Ecco sandals and I must say I've noticed a huge difference in the way my feet have responded. These sandals fit like a glove, are nicely styled and I wear them everywhere, hiking and even to work. I'll soon be buying a second pair. I couldn't recommend them more or the service from Zappos.

Been wearing this sandal for a week. It is everything I expected in an Ecco product. Comfort, quality, and looks. Zappos description is accurate and therefore helpful in the selection process.

My 12 year old pair finally wore out. These are stylishly updated, and they were completely comfortable and useful for a week long Caribbean vacation, walking on beaches, rocks, right out of the box. I brought sneakers, but I never had to put them on.

I was happy I listened to my wife and bought these sandals for a trip to Puerto Vallarta. They are adjustable in just about every way possible, which was helpful for my slightly narrow feet. Well-designed, attractive and comfortable.

These are the best sandals you will wear. The durability and comfort is amazing. Although a lot more expensive than other sandals, it is worth it in the long run because you will have these for a long time. Great for hiking, water sports and the beach. Your feet will never hurting because of the built in arch
