I ordered these because I had an older pair in black that I adore. Unfortunately, the fit was not the same and these make a lot of noise when you walk. They also smelled a little mildewy. They had to go back.

Wanted to love it- the height was perfect and color (coffee) looks much better in-person than online. But there was something about the footbed that bothered my pinky toe. Perhaps this one was defective? The raised edge made the shoe fit narrower. I tried to remove and reposition the footbed but my pinky toe still felt squished. Exchanged for the Mephisto, which as better arch support.

I am going for a total knee replacement and I need supportive shoes. These are cute but too tight and I can not wear them in the house for 5 minutes so I am sending hem back. They also pop when I walk. I wear 8 1/2 and ordered a 39. perfect size.

I really hoped these would work, they felt very comfy and look very cute, but my toes didn't fit nicely in the foot bed.

These look super cute in the photos. They also feel pretty comfortable on the foot (a little pinchy where the upper strap attached, but I'm guessing that would work itself out once broken in. I wish they had a picture of a foot in these though. Your foot actually rests within the band around the footbed that you can see in the top view, which basically makes the shoe that much wider than your foot (kind of how a berkinstock style shoe fits). I personally did not like this styling at all. It gives it a much different look that what you would expect from the photos. The lower straps were also way loose on my foot, but I have a narrow foot.

I was so excited about buying these after reading all the positive reviews, but found them to be far too narrow because of the strange way the cross straps are stitched on. I have purchased this brand in the past and have never had a problem before. Was not keen about the leather quality, either, especially at this price. Not the same as in other pairs by this brand. Had to send them back and buy a pair of reliable Danskos.

Naots are normally ridiculously comfortable. This one had great arch support and a perfect incline to keep my feet happy all day. The only issue was the stitching. It rubbed horribly on the outside of my little toe. If you have short toes, this might hit you just right on the outside and not bother you. Other thing was that they seemed a little clunky from top-down view. Because of the removable liner, there is a lip all the way around the toe which makes it seem bulky.

Comfy, but not very attractive. Don't like the top-stitched sole, and the gold metallic was pretty ugly.

I bought these sandals two years ago and again this week - same color, same size. There is an obvious difference in sizing. Of course, my old sandals are broken in and they do stretch, but never were my toes so crowded (with the big toe pushed out at a weird angle). I discovered Naot at a local comfort shoe shop, and they told me that something happened with the company; not sure if they were sold or what. Anyway, I believe it...my Naot Mary Janes that I repurchased had significantly less arch support and the sizing was off, too...about 1/2 size. I used to fit perfectly into a Naot 11.

I agree with others who found that the outer edge of the shoe rubs their smaller toes. Otherwise these are very nice -- but the irritation is enough to make me afraid to rely on them for a trip that will involve a lot of walking. Sorry to see them go back.

I bought my first pair of Naot sandal last summer and I fell in love with it and I was hoping to feel the same way about this sandal but this one did't satisfy me as much as my first naot sandal did. First, it runs very big, almost a full size bigger, I wear size 7 and I ordered size 7 in this and it looks like its size 8 on my feet. But this doesn't bother me so much because I like wearing my summer shoes and sandals little loose anyway. The major problem with is sandal is that its too heavy for me. The upper leather parts are light and soft but the heels are made of very heavy material and it gets weighty on my feet after walking for a while. I'm keeping it for it's good overall foot support and soft good quality leather but if you are looking for light weight shoes, these are not for you.

Cute shoe, I could tell would be comfortable in a larger size, but it was not true to size for me. The sizing is 39, which is supposed to be 8-8 1/2. It felt like a tight 7 1/2 due to the area around the toe being too narrow, though very slightly, and the straps on the toes were tight also. I'm not sure I'll reorder, but if I do, I'll tell you how a 9 fits my normally 8- 8 1/2 shoes size.

Not as good quality as Naots from the early-mid 90s. However, still very comfortable/supportive for standing and walking for long periods. Sandals should have buckles not Velcro! With Velcro you can never adjust them to the same tightness twice, so you have to try a bunch of times whenever you put them on! So I'm very disappointed that Naot only uses Velcro. Also disappointed in the color selection - all dark or metallic. They used to have great nubuck straps in blues and greens.

This style is so wide that my feet slid around and I ended up with blisters in various places. My feet are a medium width, so this style would be a better choice for someone with wider feet. The style is cute for comfort shoes.

Very attractive. There's an odd raised rim around the footbed, though, that isn't very comfortable after wearing these for an hour or two. I added trimmed-down insoles and that helped.

These sandals were horribly too small. The straps cut into my toes and the toe box area is far too narrow. Though very pretty, these went back.

When I first put these shoes on, they felt amazing: cushy, soft, no annoying straps, and a great fit. I wore them around the house for a day to see how they felt over several hours. At the end of the day, two of my toes on one foot were numb - really strange considering how comfortable the shoes had felt all day -- but it took almost 36 hrs to regain feeling in those toes. Sadly, these shoes are being returned and the search for a great everyday sandal continues.

I wanted to like these shoes but I wear a 7.5 and the 38 did not give me enough room for my toes. I tried the 39, as a reviewer suggested and my right foot was swimming around. I love the butter color but sadly had to return.

I have ordered with success many Naot shoes from you - but this pair is too wide - feels and looks like a Birkenstock!

This sandal was fine looking for a casual sandal, but not quite a cute as I hoped. The straps across the toes and arch are not meant for thick toes or high arch. These fit too tightly across but were still wide looking with lots of extra room around the sides.

I loved the style and the foot-bed of this shoe but unfortunately I have wide feet and a high arch. I ordered both the 39 and the 40 and neither of them fit comfortably. They were uncomfortable across the top of my feet. These shoes look well made, my feet just weren't made for them. Had to send them back.

Beautiful shoes, but the metal buckle rubs the skin off my foot on the inside by the ankle strap. I wore the shoes a few days before the problem appeared, so I'll have to keep them.

These looked really cute, but were too narrow for my completely average-width feet.

These shoes are great. However, I do have fairly wide feet so I should have listened to the reviews that they run narrow. Other Naot shoes seemed to feel good but these gave me a little trouble until I pushed my toes forward almost a little over the front.

I ordered these because so many people raved about them. They are pretty sandals but definitely a narrow fit - not medium as advertised. Too bad because the footbed is comfortable. I have other Naots and these are definitely narrower.
