I was moving to a new apartment, and didn't expect to find a great deal on these boots. I wear a size 16 in sneakers and running shoes. If these were a true 15, I would have a difficult time walking around. Rather, these boots fit possibly 3/4 of a size large, so it's perfect for me.
I really like the padded leather cuff at the top of the boot. The top terminates about 2 inches above my ankle bone. That gives me a firmer sense of foundation if I have to lift some load with my legs. I can drive my '13 Mazda 3 very comfortably, and without the clunkiness of wearing a typical boot.
They're warm, and I found myself dozing off outside in my hammock. They're like little rock pillows for my feet.
The Pro label is well deserved. Best pair of boots I've ever had, I'll say.

This boot is a lifesaver. Been working as a janitor for a year now and while my coworkers complain about sneakers getting dirty on the job these bad boys have kept me dry and sturdy. Only issue is they do require more maintenance than a regular shoe.

Best steel toe boots on the market! Perfect blend of style and safety and then insoles feel like clouds even after a 12 hour shift. I highly recommend these to factory workers, tradesman, and any outdoor work!

I seem to buy about 1-3 pairs a year, they are comfortable and waterproof meets my job requirements and the color is great for a work boot

These are better than the classic design, as they are made for real work. Timberlands all day everyday.

My foot size is 8.5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels "spacious". Not too long or short or even wide but ample - enough to accommodate a thick sock.
My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off.
The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they're holding up well.
The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way.
I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6" boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process.
What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You can't just kick these boots off.
Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker.
I love these waffle stompers.

For context- I am a production manager in a large factory and average 10k steps in my 10-12hr day, and I'm about 260lbs with plantar fasciitis in one foot.
I got these boots in the beautiful brown through a work truck event and they are the BEST and most comfortable boots I've owned in years. I try a new brand every year and have liked a lot of boots so far but these are hands-down the winners.
All-day comfort. No overheated or sweaty feet. No weird textures on the inside of the shoe, fabric holds up to daily wear and dries quickly. Ankle cuff is cushy and comfy. Laces started showing wear at about the 6th month mark is the one deduction, but I usually swap them out for new colors every so often anyways so it's not a biggie for me personally.
Highly recommend, wish they came in brushed black!

Timberland truly stands by their products. I was taken care of by their support team for a defect. No questions asked, immediately took care of me in a timely manner. Boots used for construction.

I love these boots! I use them for work every day and wouldn't want any other pair. They are extremely cute, durable, and comfy. Plus, they keep my toes safe! They do get pretty beat up during my 12+ hour shifts, but they are still holding up very well, and I'm impressed. Although they do take a little bit to break them in and loosen up, it's worth the wait (it only took about a week for me). I don't think I'll ever purchase another pair of work boots. I think they are 100% worth the money and I definitely recommend them, so if you are thinking about purchasing a pair, DO IT! #Sweepstakes
