Great Shoe - This is a great shoe, they don’t get destroyed easy, but minor ripping does occur, really great comfort, my only complain, is the insole get easily messed up, but other than that, really good!

The new Half Cab from Emerica - This shoe has the same cuts as the old school Vans model the Half Cab. It has the thin sole for more board feel and the ankle support that all skateboarders need. A tip for the person buying these is to get some different insoles; the ones that are included don’t take impact well.

Shoes are sweet some of the colorways are bad though - These shoes are sick I’ve had a couple pair. The mid top really helps from strawberries and snakebites (when the tip of the board gashes at your ankle) the vulcanized sole is awesome. Because it’s vulcanized its gunna be a lot looser than other shoes. I may suggest a half size smaller so if you wear an 11 get a 10.5.

Emerica Francis Review - These shoes were great, I haven’t skated them yet, but these and the Reynolds 3's have the same type of sole, that almost feels gritty on grip tape, but other than that the shoes are really comfortable and look great.

These are good shoes if you don't skate. They are very comfortable and look good, but wear down from skating easily. I skated for a couple of days in them about 8 hours total and they began to rip. There was a small hole on the outside of my left foot. They are just thin so they rip easy. They have good feel, though. I recommend Lakai for good skate shoes; they're durable and have good feel. I have owned the Carroll Selects and the Koston Selects and they are both the best shoes I've ever had. I only buy Lakai now.

If you skate, don't get these - I had for 2 days, the sole fell off of one and the other got the biggest hole in the front, and they were made of this weird material that ripped too easy, I had the green and black ones, so if you skate a lot don’t get the green and black ones.
I'd also recommend:
get the reynolds 3's, or the square ones

This shoe looks awesome, but that’s about it. Good for tricks/board feel, but has no life at all and has no support. Very thin, so your feet get cold and wet. Very disappointed in Emerica.

Black/black/black - As much as I support Emerica for making so many non leather shoes, after about three weeks of using these to walk around and skate sparsely they came apart at the heel. The heel flops around after three weeks of walking.

TEAR UP FAST IF YOU SKATE HARD - These are pretty good shoes. I liked them for a while, but the insoles will get holes in them after a month or two. The material tears up real fast, it isn’t very durable...but they are really comfy.
I'd also recommend:
Buy Lakai or Fallen, they're really durable.

Emerica Francis - Emerica Francis- Good looking shoe, skated good for about 2 weeks, then they were terrible. I can’t count how many times I’ve rolled my ankles in these. These shoes killed my right ankle. But they were amazing while they lasted. If you get these, don’t skate in them.

Emerica - These shoes ripped the first day I had them. And the backs of the shoes came off so I had to return them. I liked them because you can feel the board, which means there good for tre flips. I don’t recommend these shoes if you skate everyday.

Emerica Francis - Ok, so I bought these shoes and as soon as I put them on they were so comfortable I had to get them. So, I skated with them for a couple weeks and they were pretty good, but then they just started falling apart. They lasted me two months of heavy skating (every day at least 4 hours ) and that was pushing it. I mean they had good board feel and they felt good, but the durability was terrible, they are mainly a shoe built for style. I don’t recommend these shoes, but don’t get me wrong; other Emerica products are good just not this one.

Please do not get these shoes! Please don't get these! If you do end up getting 'em, don't get the suede ones, just the other stuff. The rubber along half of the outside of the shoe was gone in 3 hours. The small outsole treads wear down in like a day. It’s real thin so all of the side pieces start coming apart extremely quick, and once all of the toe cap and side is worn down, the board feel is gone. The vulcanized idea it horrible. It makes all the rubber wear down and if you land a trick the wrong way your feet easily become bruised and hurt. You should only buy vulcanized shoes if you have an extremely large budget ($60 bucks a week). I'm only 12 and these lasted me 6 days.
I'd also recommend:
Nothing vulcanized. Ipath O'Connor, Locust, or Grasshopper.

My first pair of Emerica’s, and I didn't like them a lot. First off, when I put them on I could tell there was way less padding than my last pair of Lakai’s. I like slipping on my shoes, but you have to tie them on these shoes, which isn't much of a problem. My feet are sort of sensitive, so like if I cop out on even a 5 stair, it starts hurting my feet, but I solved the problem by replacing the soles in these shoes with my Lakai soles. They ripped pretty easily, but shoe goo saves the day.
