Great Skateboarding - My son, and I, are very pleased with this shoe. My son has had ankle problems and the support he gets from this shoe really helps. I am also very pleased with how easy it is to order shoes and how quickly we get them. This last pair came the next day. You have a loyal customer here.

These shoes are killer - These shoes are killer dude. I got the all black ones and I’ve had them about a month or so and they don't really rip easy. The only problem I had with these shoes is that they kinda hurt my feet after awhile when I skate but besides that I have no problem with these shoes.

Great shoe - I got these shoes and put them on and they are really comfortable. And they are also pretty much broken in straight out of the box.

Emerica Francis - I just got these shoes yesterday, they’re pretty cool but I just wish that there was more padding and that the insoles were removable... great shoes though?

As a sneaker-head I find this apparently the coolest colorway of all the Francis, I usually wear a 13 but in Emerica I wear a 12 and they’re just a lil tight. Can’t wait to skate em. Don’t get this shoe cause its mine...

Great shoe - This shoe is awesome. I got em a few weeks ago and there in great shape but they get pretty dirty but I really care. They break in after like 10 minutes of skating. These are a great shoe

The Francis - This shoe rules. There is less padding than other shoes, but it has a better board feel which is really nice. I replaced the soles with the ones from my Etnies so my foot didn't hurt as much. The ankle support is good too. Even better, these shoe look amazing. Everyone loves how they look

Began to fall apart after minimal skating - That’s about it. Got 'em, rode in 'em and the stitching began coming apart soon thereafter. I am ollieing and flipping, but after only two sessions the side panel of the shoe opened up. Back to Vans.

Awesome - I got these shoes about a month ago and I have been skating them everyday since they arrived. They are still completely rip-free after weeks of kick flips and 360 flips. They felt broken in right away, and the amount of board feel is insane. The extra padding and ankle support is so awesome. I haven’t hurt an ankle in them yet. I love the style. I just wish they tied at the ankle a bit tighter without covering up the tongue

GREAT SHOES - I got these shoes and I put them on and they felt so comfortable I didn’t even need to break them in. They skate very well and look very nice. These are probably the best shoes I’ve ever had.

!! These fit so well. I got 8.5 and I usually have to break them in some to fit right but these fit good right out the box. I have been skating in them for a week or so now and they hold up well. Protects from sharkbite too. Also these shoes are so freakin stylin. My fav pair. Not as much sole cushion but it provides more board feel and I can handle that.

Amazing. The Francis is honestly the best shoe I can find. They have a nice style and skate amazingly. It took me like a month to mess these shoes up bad enough to not skate in ‘em any more. Very durable, very comfortable, and a very reasonable price for what shoe you get. Good choice for any skateboarder.

Good Shoe - This is a great shoe. This shoe is very comfortable. I've never had mid tops before and now that I've purchesed these shoes I will probably buy some again. It is also durable. I've had them for 3 weeks and there isn't even a rip in them. This is an overall great shoe

Awesome. These shoes are awesome. They feel amazing. Great flick and sick board feel. The vulcanized sole seems better than others and the midtop keeps from shark bite. I love these shoes, very comfy and extremely comfortable.

The Francis - These shoes are pretty sweet. The toe cap is perfect for flip tricks and they have great padding. Its one of the great mid-top shoes. Mad comfortable. Recommend it to everyone who likes their good ankle support and a good relaxed feel while skating.

Emerica shoes rock!!!! I already knew that Emerica shoes rocked but the Francis takes it to a whole new level. These shoes rock. If you want a 5 star shoe this is the one to get. They feel true to size, width, and have great arch support. There's nothing left to say I mean these shoes rock!!!!!!

Emerica - I've had a few pairs of the Francis' now. I personally love them. Since Emerica is the best shoe company you can expect the style and comfort in these. Basically they remind me a lot of the Reynolds 3s, only mid top. Be careful though these shoes are a black hole, you get sucked in instantly, I'm not sure if I'll ever buy a different pair, at least Emerica shoes which aren’t mid tops!

Emerica Francis black/ chrome - The shoe I got was the black/chrome. They are pretty comfy, but there kinda plain looking. I saw the pictures online and thought they looked sick, but when I got them I was a little disappointed in the look. The tongue is extremely thin, and not very big, but I am getting really good rotations when I flick the board. I pretty much just got them, (it only took one day and I didn’t even check that!) and I would recommend them if you just want a plain, black shoe that is pretty comfy.
I'd also recommend:
emerica reynolds, emerica francis in a different color

I think this shoe looks very nice. It’s tight and very comfortable to walk around the house with, but when it comes to skating with these, it’s not that good. The little rubber line on the front gets damaged easily, plus the suede material and the stitches on side get messed up and "poofy" because they get rubbed w/ grip tape. They are very comfortable, but they have no arch support like a lot of skating shoes. What’s different about this one is that the rubber sole part is very thin, so it can bend a lot very easily unlike a lot of fat DC shoes that have a very thick stiff sole. I think a harder sole is better for skating and the emericas don’t have that. Anyway, since it’s so thin and it has no arch support, it’s comfortable, but not good for your feet and not good for skating. I have some Adios I use for skating and I use these to just wear to school. They are also not as high as I thought they'd be. They’re not so much higher than low top shoes. If I knew I would have some other shoes for skating, I would definitely buy these again because I think they look really cool and they come in a lot of colors.

Well-built mid-top - The Francis is a good skate shoe for the time it lasts. The price is great, but you get what you pay for. The area around where you would do heel flips starts to rip pretty fast. I like the mid-top though for ankle support. It could have a little more cushioning, but overall it does the job.
