Like the looks of this shoe, but it is too narrow to be advertised wide. For those of us with short, wide feet, this shoe doesn't compare with the European lasts for comfort.

This is my first pair of Earth Shoes and I'm afraid it will probably be my last. After all I have read, I expected them to be very comfortable, but at the end of the day my feet still hurt. These are also quite heavy and the front is much more "bubbly" looking in person. One reviewer said they reminded her of clown shoes, and I'd have to agree. While I do love Zappos, this brand is definetly not for me.

I love the look of these shoes but the top strap cut into my foot. I am so sorry that they didn't break in well and I had to return them.

Worn out already.
These are my first pair of earth shoes. I got them to replace another pair of red slip on shoes. I have been wearing them everyday for the passed two weeks. They are breaking in to fast. I have rubbed off a lot of the color around the toes. That has been the most disappointing thing about the shoes, they are not durable. They are good for someone who wants them for a certain outfit, I wear them to teach in.

Not for people with wide feet.
I thought that my ordering the wide width (D) size 11 these sandals would fit perfectly. After wearing them for the first time to work, I barely made it home. The width was still too narrow. For those of you with narrow feet, enjoy.

Amber's review -
I didn't really care for the look of the shoe on my foot. It kind of reminded me of a clown shoe. It was way too long in the front. Also I have a medium width to my foot and these shoes were a bit too narrow for comfort on my foot. I do like Earth shoes, but this model really just didn't work out for me that well.

Too ugly for words -
Ok, let me begin with full disclosure--I am a child of the 80's, so I always believed that one must suffer to look good. My shoes were pointy and had high, thin heels for years. Fast forward 20 (!) years or so and I find myself married for 10 years and the mother of a toddler. I have learned that comfort is key. I have slowly began to add a few comfortable shoes to my wardrobe, Clarke's of England being a favorite.
But something caught my eye about Earth shoes. They had a great advertisemment that featured a cute and fashionable (drawn) woman wearing regular shoes and her spine was mis-alligned. Earth shoes (created by a chiropractor) re-alligned the spine. I was hooked. And they look kind of cute, right? And the Zappo's reviews said they were four starts for look. I ordered and was excited.
They arrived a day later (I LOVE YOU ZAPPOS!)and was simply horrified by what I saw. Hands down, the absolute ugliest shoes I have ever seen. The toes are so round and bulbous, they look comical. Think very early B&W Minnie Mouse feet. "They're kidding, right?" I thought.
I feel compelled to write this review for anyone like me. You have learned to shed the image, but not quite completely. Comfort is important, but style is too. Don't fret... they are out there. Just not here.
