Earth Kharma - These are the cutest and the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They have plenty of room in the toe, and the negative heel really does make a difference. The straps have a hidden elastic piece, so they fit well but move with you when you walk. I normally like to go barefoot in the house, but now I wear these all the time.

All day comfort and very stylish! This is my second pair of Earth's Kharma and I love them so much, I am sure I will order the third pair in a different color. I cannot believe the compliments I have received. Style and comfort, what more can one ask of a shoe?

Earth Kharma - I was worried about ordering these since shoes with the buckle/strap on the top hurt. I remembered wearing earth shoes when I was a teen and when I saw these I had to try them again. I was so surprised that they are still so comfortable and the strap/buckle did not hurt at all! I'm hooked on Earth shoes again!

Earth Kharma - This is a great shoe. Extremely comfortable, like most Earth shoes, but in addition, it fits well without seeming too large or bulky. Compared to some other of my Earth shoes, this one actually is quite smaller in terms of bulk, but fits just as well. Much more graceful.

Love My Earth's Kharma - I am new to "Earth" shoes, but not to Birkenstocks. I love my new "Kharmas". They are soft and comfortable. I wore my Kharmas all day the day after I received them and had no problems. They look good and they feel good and they are true to size. I would recommend them to anyone who needs support and comfort.

Comfortable and OH so Cute! These updated Maryjanes (that are so popular right now) are great for walking and look super too. I wear a size 9 that can sometimes look so large, but these don't. I love this pair of Earth shoes!

Comfy and Unique - At first, when I got these shoes in the mail, I thought they were way too big (in width and size) for me and made my feet look like boats (which they are because they're a size 9.5/10 and are a bit on the wide side). Then I realized that because the shoes were so uniquely designed to cater to the way the natural foot is made to be, instead of forcing it into an unnatural posture (like many other unhealthy shoes I've worn, making the feet suffer and feel cramped, which I horrifyingly had gotten used to). Really, the shoes aren't uncomfortably wide, just roomy, for comfort. The structure and design of the shoes are made to make the foot bones spread and strengthen and align correctly for maximum body support and alignment. Although the shoes may need some time to get used to (it feels like you're walking in soft sand as opposed to the customary hard surfaces most of us are used to such as cement or asphault), once you have become accustomed to them, they begin to feel wonderful and natural as the foot should feel like. They compensate to absorb the shock body endures when walking on man-made surfaces like pavement, making walking easier on the joints. All in all, I'd have to say these are some of the most phenomenal shoes I've ever worn. I will definitely be buying Earth brand shoes again. These are the perfect shoes to buy for those of you who are deeply concerned with the health of your feet and body alignment. One of the best footwear buys I've ever made in my opinion.

Much better than I hoped for! I'm new to Earth shoes, but not to Birkenstocks. After wearing Birks for a few years, I noticed that the front part of my foot where my toes are were widening out and I couldn't fit in pointy shoes anymore. Wide widths didn't help because my heels are narrow. These shoes fit great! I tend to be between a 10-11 depending on the shoe, and easily fit in a 10. Not too wide or narrow, but a perfect fit! I look forward to buying more.

Still breaking in - I'm not as excited about these shoes as I thought I'd be. I have to admit my first reaction was that they looked like a potato (I have the brown Kharmas)-maybe black or red would be cuter? I like the negative heel a lot, but the low heel is very stiff and will take some time & band-aids to break in. I have narrow feet, and these fit really well everywhere but the heel-I have a very narrow heel and there's a good 1/2 inch of extra width on the heel, which causes my foot to move around quite a bit. Once the leather softens, they should be more comfortable. If you're not used to "natural" looking shoes (ie, Birkenstocks, Naots, Born), these might be a big stretch for you.

Scuffing of color - I've found that my brown ones have had the color scuffed off the front toes after only limited wear. I even conditioned the leather before wearing them a lot, but still the brown coloring has scuffed off leaving bare spots of a lighter beige color. I really like the way the red ones look online but I wonder if they'd do this too?

Close to perfect, but not quite - These are the first Earth shoes that are long enough for me. Most I find run about half a size short and since I'm a size 11 that leaves me few options. But they are also oddly wide through the ball of the foot. Okay if I have thicker socks on. Tightening up the buckles is little help since they're not wide across the arch. For standing all day though still not bad.

I was very disappointed that these didn't fit. They felt narrower than marked but they are very cute shoes.

Took me a couple days to get used to as I've never own an Earth shoe before. Also, the heel is quite low, so be prepared for that new shoe blister, but after the first wearing, fits perfectly and no blisters.. Also, I felt like my back hurt the first day I wore them, probably because Im used to heeled shoes!!

Comfy but a little funny looking - The shoe has a very long look to the front. I do find the shoe quite comfortable, but was expecting more of a cushion step, not so flat.

Thumbs Up for Earth Kharma - A very attractive shoe that is well constructed. A bit narrow, but otherwise comfortable on first day of use. The leather is softening up enough for wear with a light sock. I'll definitely be purchasing another style from Earth.

Earth Kharma review - I really like the look of these shoes! The only thing that I disliked was the comfort. Actually, I have only worn them once so far because the first time I wore them, they gave me blisters on the heels of my feet and were a tight/narrow fit. I am hoping they will break in, because I really like them and like the style of the shoe.

Good Kharma - Nice little shoe. Feels and looks good. I have a narrow foot, but a half size smaller did the trick. So easy to exchange the size. Love the ship free service.

No question, people compliment this shoe. And who can blame them? I got a pair of red ones and they are the perfect red. Yes, I was won-over by the look. But what I really wanted form this shoe was comfort. I am 6 months pregnant and anticipating aching (and spreading) feet. So far, I have had no problems getting used to the “negative heel technology.” It feels pretty much like walking in a flat shoe, but with arch support. However, I have wide feet and short toes and I did have to order a size up from my usual size, so that the shoes wouldn’t pinch my big toe joint and I could spread into them a little. And now I’m not sure the arch support is in the right place. The good news is, the buckles at the front of the shoe really make them adjustable. The bad news is, they may take a little time to break in. (I wore them to walk arond town in the other day and ended up with blisters on the backs of my heels. But maybe that’s pregnancy)!

Not for the flat footed - These shoes are well made, look beautiful and are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the negative heel technology only accentuates that inward-rolling well known to those with very flat feet. So although they look very good, they don't look good at all on me!

Appearance, Sizing, Comfort - APPEARANCE: These are adorable even in my big size 9 so I can only imagine how yummy they look in a 6 or 7! SIZING: I have a high instep and these shoes fit the height of my foot perfectly without even having to adjust the straps more loosely. However my foot is slightly wide, and while these shoes leave lots of room for your toes, they are not a wide footbed like a Birkenstock, these pinch in the middle of my foot and the arch area of the shoe is hard and wrong for a moderately wide foot. COMFORT: I have been used to wearing Danskos recently, and the negative-heel footbed of these shoes is definitely different. The first hour I wore them they made me walk in a kind of heel-stomping waddle and they made my back hurt. But they are really not much different from a flat shoe like Birkenstocks.

Earth Karma - Cute but not for big feet - Like most shoes, I'm sure these are just precious in size 7, but when they get up to size 11, they lose that cuteness and become clumpy and clown-like. Their innate cuteness still shines through, but I'm not confident wearing them with a skirt or cropped pants; they just look so *long.* They are also surprisingly narrrow for such a comfortable-looking shoe. They are very comfortable to stand and walk short distances in, but when I walked at a quick pace to the train station, I felt like I was slamming my heels down onto the pavement. I still like these shoes, but I would not recommend them for the large-footed.

Earth Karma - When I first put the shoes on, I thought that they were great. I have pretty wide feet, so they were a bit slug, but they were OK. The great thing about these shoes is that the footbeds are slanted backwards so that it helps you to stand up straight. The two cross straps pinch a little. I've worn them on & off for about three weeks now and they are finally starting to break in. I think that they are going to be really good shoes pretty soon.

Good posture, bad blisters - The negative heel concept is a good one and Earth shoes have been around for decades. I like the way they feel in that regard, and it wasn't hard to get used to since I wear lots of Birkis. My complaint with these shoes it that even though they don't have a fully enclosed back, they rub the back of my foot and I can only wear them with a band-aid.

Disappointing - The shoes look more mammoth and clunky than I thought they would (and I expected it), and despite their bulk, they weren't wide enough for my relatively average feet. I also needed a half size larger than usual. Art historians out there: think Brueghel's peasant shoes.
