Good looking shoe. Runs large and didn't seem to have a whole lot of cushion. I need more cushion. I'm going to return it because I think I can find a shoe that's more comfortable and fits better. That being said, I have some foot problems and this might be a perfect shoe for someone else.

I liked the shoe, but it seem the sole was too stiff and the width was too wide for me.

I love this shoe; I think I own 4-5 pairs. It's great for desert use, breathes well, takes a good beating. I will say this, though: for a shoe made by a company that specializes in climbing, it offers nearly no traction. If you're looking for something to use on variable surfaces, this is probably not it.

These shoes are great. I first wore them on a climbing trip in Yosemite about ten years ago. They were extremely comfortable and grippy. In fact I only had to put on my climbing shoes for the more technical pitches. They smear great but doesn't edge quite as well (but what kinda approach shoes can?) they're quite light so they're not as noticeable when you throw them in a haul bag compared to say, camp fours or the insights. The downside is that the insoles flattened out really quickly, they have close to no arch support, and descending a big wall with a heavy pack on gave me sore feet. Once I threw my orange superfeet in them they were much better. Since then I've gotten three more pairs of these. I've noticed that they've changed the size of the dots on the soles and the rubber seems a bit more durable compared to the older models. I also think they've changed their adhesive as I haven't had the soles falling apart quite as much as the ones that came out two years ago. They're constantly tweaking them but as far as I can tell, it's for the better. And they are now made in the USA instead of Korea without changing the price. Huge plus in my books!

I really love the style of this shoe and it has a very firm sole (which I need) but my heel slips and I'm guessing it's because it's a men's shoe also. I really wish five ten had a model specifically for women on Zappos! Once the insoles are removed (I use orthotics) the shoe was true to size.

This is a great all around shoe. It's lightweight, durable, great traction, yet very comfortable. It's been a great shoe for the long rugged hikes in Red Rock and grips well to the rocks while climbing.

Love the styling and comfort, but the soles leave black rubber marks on our hard-surface floors.
