I bought these shoes for my wife and she loves them. They fit great and feel even better. Even better they remind me of playing tennis at the Bedford Bluffs in Bedford NH in 1977!!! Rod Laver knew how to rock the clay courts in those days!!

I've worn Tretorns (with socks) for 40 years - used to play alot of tennis in them when I was younger. Now I wear them to walk the dog, to run errands and to take short walks of a mile or so and they are perfect. I really like that I can throw them in the washer and dryer when dirty. If you have knee problems I probably would recommend another shoe with more cushioning. Tretorns have a streamlined look so can be worn with shorts/khaki skirts in the summer where chunkier looking shoes would not work.

These are great sneakers! Perfect with shorts or jeans when a running shoe would look too clunky. They're comfortable and durable. I usually wear a size 9 shoe, but a 91/2 in running shoes. I ordered a 91/2 in these and they are comfy, but I think a 9 would've worked just as well.

A great American preppy classic. I was actually surprised to find out that they were Swedish! Super great and comfortable and true to size.

I think that I shall never see a thing as lovely as a Tretorn - I liked the free and the fast shipping. Tretorns are hard to find and the price was competitive although not the best. I also have to wonder why Tretorn (not Zappos) is putting labels outside of their sneaker.

Tretorns are back - I am enjoying this shoe as much now as when I used to play tennis in them years ago. Not as heavy or padded as a walking/running shoe but have a nice look when you just want to wear tennis shoes.

My favorite! I have worn Tretorns since the early 1980s and they were my favorite then and still are! They fit wonderful... I go 1/2 size larger because I wash mine all of the time and they seem to get a little snugger. I hope they will come out with all of the colors they once had!

Still comfy. I ordered these because I suffered a foot/ankle sprain that resulted in significant pain and swelling. With the cut of these shoes, I was able to wear them on a recent trip without much discomfort. I had a couple of pairs years ago and was happy to find that they had changed very little.

Haven't worn them since the 80's, but from what I recall... I do miss the cushioned terry cloth area around the ankle. But am pleased to report they definitely have more cushion/padding on the insole. My young daughter has a pair, and hers still have the padding around ankle.

These shoes are very cool. I love the styling. The one issue is that they do run a little large and the arch support is pretty minimal so I would not wear them if I was going to be pounding the pavement all day.

Shoes aren't as sturdy as I remember them being, but they are good quality. They do run a bit big. I normally wear a 9, but ordered a 9.5 based on other reviews here. This will allow some shrinkage when I wash and dry them.

As a stay at home mom, I wanted a cute sneaker to wear during the day to keep up with my busy toddler. I think this sneaker does the trick. They are comfortable, and fit true to size.

Like other reviewers have said, these are not the Tretorns of the 80's. Regardless, I will be keeping mine because they are still 'hip' and you don't see them in all of the chain stores. Thanks Zappos.

I wore Tretorns as a kid. They used to have a terrycloth footbed which provided decent cushioning. The Tretorns of 2010 have all the style, but are clearly made with a little less quality. For a simple canvas sneaker, they’re OK. They seemed to run about a half size large.

Cute, light sneakers - These are unique and a nice alternate to my usual Chucks. They are very comfortable, and the yellow is a lot of fun-- a nice way to dress up a pair of jeans. The only possibly negative thing: they are rather light-weight, which means I'm really not expecting them to last forever.

Still good after all these years - These shoes are a flash back to the '80s. They are still comfortable and look great. I bought them about a week ago and have been wearing them every day since. They are holding up nicely so far.
