Sweet shoes! The best shoes I have ever worn. Great for speed boarding, but the only problem is that they never come off and you have to actually untie them to get them off; not always bad. The shoe gets hot in the summer, but the open slot in the tong of the shoe helps a little. They last extremely long and lots and lots of pad in the sole. Seriously buy these shoes; I swear you will love 'em. In fact I am buying another pair soon.

Awesome shoes!! Zappos is one of the best websites to order Vans they have a million styles and colors to choose from and when I ordered them they were here the next day...Zappos is awesome.

Please keep these in stock!!! A must have item - Thanks for carrying these. Though minimal padding and arch support compared to modern designs, soles have a very gummy, grippy feel for the skater who wore these when that's all there was. I'm giving my new school Vans away now.

What a Great Shoe! I’ve worn Hi Top Converse All-Stars for the past 10 years. I’ve always liked slip on Vans as well as the Old Skool but I can’t stand not having hi top shoes. I saw these shoes on a friend of mine and decided to check them out. So I ordered a pair and I absolutely love them. They have great support as well as a great feeling and a sense of style. I love them though I always will stick to my Converse roots!

Birthday Shoes - My son loves his new Vans high tops; he even bought the same design in the slip on style.

Working, walking...wonderful! My son loved these shoes right out of the box. Better support than his Converse and a smart look with suede and gunmetal canvas. He walks a lot and says they're completely comfortable and he just wishes he got a little better traction on wet floors at work.

Cool kicks - The Vans SK8's are awesome and the most comfortable shoes I have worn in some time. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and it took me twenty years to get into some Vans. Awesome shoes and I highly recommend the SK8's for all activities that involve comfy kicks.

Vans SK8 - Great service, received next day. Very nice shoe, I usually wear an 11 (wide foot too) and I felt the 11 in this shoe was a little big; surprised. I may try a 10.5. Very nice quality too.

Ultimate BMX or Skate Shoe - I've owned Vans over the years and these have been my favorites for BMX or just hanging out. Great looking shoes and very comfortable. Everyone needs to own these at least once. Go for it! I would add that Vans does offer shoes with more padding and more modern design, check out the Geoff Rowley Vans line. Rowley's are more comfortable than these, but don't come in high-tops (yet). For what these are, skate shoes, they are the first and in my opinion, the best. A California tradition.

Vans make the world go round - I will definitely choose Zappos.com again in the future. I was very pleased to find exactly what I was looking for. On a trip to the Dallas Metroplex, I was unable to find this shoe after visiting several skate shops, including a VANS store at one of the malls. Then after arriving home, I went online to the Vans website and still no shoes. That’s when I went to Zappos.com. I’ll just go there first next time. Thank you.

Vans SK8 - These shoes are great; they’re sturdy and high enough off the ground to not get muddy snow slush on the actual shoe. They are comfortable, a little hard but that's fine. They look great, beautiful design, people love them! I recommend them. They come in such a variety of different patterns and colors...There's one for everyone.

Love 'em - Comfortable, look nice, thought they were suede, but they were leather. However, still love 'em and decided to keep them. I have worn Vans for the last 15 years and always loved the old school look and the Hi-Tops.

My experience with Vans Sk8 Hi`s . I bought the pewter/Black checkered Vans Sk8 hi`s. I love them , the only thing wrong with them is that the first week you have em` (If you have bigger feet ) they will hurt your pinky toe a little ...Great shoes.

Cool Kicks - As usual Zappos came through with their great service and fast shipping. They are real personable and phone friendly as well. They also have a return policy that is phenomenal. These shoes are very comfortable and they look cool. Problem is that the selection is big and it’s hard to decide on what to get. I have purchased many pairs of shoes from Zappos. A True Classic - There's been at least one pair of these in my closet for 15 years. It's all about the style. They fill the same niche in the hipster wardrobe as a pair of Chuck Taylors; they're just a little beefier. The only downside is they do tend to wear quickly. Once the white parts yellow and the heel wears through, it's time for a new pair. They're cheap enough to buy a few color choices for maximum rockage.

Best shoes ever! Hardly new to vans high-tops and lows. Vans continues to make quality shoes for skating and just hanging out. These are without a doubt my favorite shoes of all time!

Quite possibly, the perfect SK8er shoe... These shoes are terrific. I bought them for my skateboarding son, who finds them comfortable and tells me the "stick" factor for boarding is perfect (whatever that means...) The design with skulls is clever and cool, the interior color is classy yet edgy --- very nice shoe. Would highly recommend as they appear to be very durable, too.

VANS! I love em' I always buy vans but I think these are the hottest pair of vans that I’ve ever bought! They are so comfortable and since they're for both boys and girls I got my boyfriend a matching pair!

Vans rock - With these shoes you get compliments every were you go. Not so comfortable but worth it for the looks

Black Leather vans sk8-his - These came to me very quickly, plus the shipping was free, so no complaints there. They run a little long, so I might suggest buying half a size smaller than you usually do, even for vans. I just put an insole pad, like a Dr. Scholl’s or whatever, and they wear fine. I have to say, I absolutely love these shoes. They're probably my favorite pair that I own.

Vans SK8-Hi shoes are #1 - Vans Sk8-Hi are great shoes for skateboarding. I have been wearing Vans shoes since 1978 and these shoes have the same sticky sole as the first pair I bought in '78. The shoe really holds up the abuse of skateboarding and the classic design will never go out of style.
