If you are reading this message you are about to buy great shoes. My pair just came in and they are very comfortable on my feet, and I love the style. The SK8-Hi is the right choice if you are looking for comfort and style I have been an All Star fan for years but now I think I have to jump ship! I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

Perfect Shoe - I purchased these for my 16 years old son. He absolutely loves them. He doesn't even wear his more expensive sneakers anymore. Prior to receiving these shoes he would coordinate his attire and then choose his sneakers. Now everything he wears has to coordinate with his Vans! The price and quality of the shoes can't be beat. We're Vans fans now!!!

Just plain excellence - The shoes were great and it came exactly the next day. Right at my doorstep when i woke up.

Love these kicks. They run about a half size larger so keep that in mind when ordering. I could have even gone a whole size smaller since I prefer to tuck my laces into the sneaker.

They are alright. These are very comfortable but seem to flatten out the longer you have them that is why I just got me a new pair

Love 'em! The SK8-Hi's are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in a long time. Although the color I got was not my first choice (colors and sizes are getting limited for some reason). I am actually very happy with how they look.

These shoes are the best! I just ordered my third pair! I absolutely love these shoes...I work ten hour days in em' and my feet never hurt by the end of the day. They are about the same size as other Old Skool Vans. So if you wear a nine in Old Skool low tops, then you'll need a nine in these.

Comfy, stylish kicks - With the purchase of some insoles these shoes are incredibly comfortable. Vans tend to be a little hard on my feet without them though. After breaking them in for a few days these things feel like slippers and look great! Great shoe for the price.

Excellent - Like the look, I love skulls so they fit my style.

Black & White Checked Sk8 Hi's, only at Zappos.com! That's right! Every other retailer, including the "new" Vans store in the mall is out of the black & white checked Sk8 Hi's. I'm an old guy (over 30), and I still skate. Vans are the only shoes that work for me! The new-era skate shoes have too much padding in the tongue and put my left-foot to sleep; a result of a high-instep. Vans Classics are the only skate shoes I wear to skate; if you're of the mindset that they're not padded enough, a heel-insole from Dr. Scholl’s will do the trick! Vans are my favorite shoe, hands down. Zappos is my favorite shoe store, hands down. Combined, Vans and Zappos RULE!

My Son LOVES These Shoes - He got the ones with "Eddie" on them - Iron Maiden and they are TOUGH! They actually look better on than on the pic. I (my son) highly recommend them. I DID order down a 1/2 size smaller than his Adios, as recommended in a review and am glad I did. They would've been too big, so this review thing is cool...used it in the past and it's helpful. The service - I ordered them in the afternoon and they arrived the NEXT DAY! That can't be beat. Zappos returns and support can't be beat!

Labor Day Life Saver - I purchased the SK8-Hi multi-colored 'skulls' version of the shoe. (Pink, lite blue, etc) A friend was in town visiting and showed up with a 'SICK' shoe. Well, since I consider myself a 'Sneaker Villain', I was somewhat caught off guard b/c I live in Atlanta and Labor day wknd is a big wknd. Nonetheless, I found this shoe on the site AND it was free next day shipping always an added bonus. By the time my friend woke up, the shoe was here and he was OUT DONE!! LOL The shoe is the BEST! It's comfortable, stylish, got plenty of compliments and no one else had a pair on in the city!! Enough for me. :-)

Iron Maiden Vans - I own 68, now 69 pairs of Vans and I love every pair. Zappos is one of the best companies I've EVER worked with.

These are excellent - I've owned multiple pairs of Vans SK8-Hi shoes. These shoes are literally one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. The style and comfort are excellent for the price. I couldn't be happier with these shoes! I highly recommend these shoes if you are looking for comfort.

Cute shoe - This shoe was for my daughter. She loves Vans for their novelty prints, this has dogs on it. She said the shoe was comfortable. The last pair of shoes she got that were Vans lasted her a whole school year and she wore those little penguins to death! Despite that, the bottoms had the most mileage out of them, the upper never ripped or frayed. We are sold on Vans.

Vans SK8-Hi Rock! These were purchased for my metal head son (I love him). He likes the look very much, the quality of the shoe is very important to me and they stand up to some pretty high requirements. Not a lot of arch support, but fashionable yes. Overall, a good choice for the boy.

Gr8 sk8 shoe - My son has been wearing these shoes for years. I just got him the Iron Maiden Eddie print Sk8 Hi. He said he doesn't want to wear them because the artwork is so good. If you normally buy the heavily padded skate shoes you should wear a smaller size in this shoe.

The Iron Maiden Sk8-Hi - 5 words: This shoe is the greatest. Comfort is amazing. It looks perfect better in person than on a picture.

(Skull Checkerboard) Blue Atoll/Fandango Pink - Shoe goes well with the shirt I bought, shipping is great, and so is the customer service!! Also feel very comfortable in the shoes.

Vans SK8-Hi - Zappos is the only place to order your Vans. Overnight FREE shipping and no sales tax saves you money not even mentioning not having to search the malls for the perfect shoes. Being a mother of teenagers, they know what they want and I save time and money. The Vans SK8-Hi's are very cool shoes! Zappos is the only place for Vans as far as I'm concerned. Fantastic - They’re great! I turn heads wherever I go! I buy a full size smaller because they run kind of big! No arch support, but you should expect that with a classic shoe.

SK8-Hi Are GRRREEEEEAAAATTTT!! The Vans SK8-Hi is a great everyday shoe. It has a great look and an excellent feel when walking. I ordered a size 12 and it felt just a little big, but not big enough to really notice. For the most part they are true 2 size. I wear em for style but I’m sure they would be a great skate shoe as well.

I got the shoes and it was true to the online description, BUT I just couldn't get to "feeling" this shoe. I don't know if it was because I don't normally wear high tops, but I just couldn't feel them... Therefore, I returned them for the Vans Era Fidos, they are cute!!!

Quality Classic - Zappos has excellent service; I received them insanely fast, ordered Friday night and had them on my feet on Monday!!! I've always had a pair of these to wear for the past 15yrs at least. You get your money's worth out of these shoes for sure! I don't skate as much as I used to but still a good shoe to wear.

Good service - I got my white and blacks in two days, mainly because I ordered them before 4th of July!! Good Service!! When I saw them in this color, I knew I had to have them!!
